I cannot start to count men (especially in recent times) in the mainstrem media who have a stronger aura than their female hot counterparts. In the 90's, we had Jasmine Bleeth, Pamela Anderson, Paula Abdul, Sharon Stone or Kim Basinger who were facing the likes of Richard Gere. And you knew of course who was the attractive (read beautiful) part of the cast. But today ? I am positively confounded :
While straight (if that helps to legitimize my bedazzlement), I don't really think women in mainstream media can hold a candle in comparison to men lately.
I don't know if it has to do with the excesses of photoshop or plastic surgery canons but women do appear "blander" on screen regardless of their performance. I wonder if it is a phenomenon or if I am just simply unconsciously growing more gay by the day.
