Did we get a Dojo update on Christmas for Brawl? Are we expecting an image tonight, or Sakurai taking one night off before the Zelda reveal?

I play Brawl quite often with my friends and brothers, and it really becomes apparent which characters are better than others (I mostly play Marth/Wolf/Kirby)... but I do have so much fun breaking out some of the lesser characters. I guess they're like guilty pleasures or something.

For me, It's Ness and Luigi (Ganondorf/Captain Falcon also to an extent). They have so much going against them but they're just so fun to break out, it's also quite a challenge now that I'll have to work so much harder to win.

What about you guys?

I'll probably get a lot of crap for bringing this up, but why does GAF insist on calling anything remotely sexual in nature that they're not comfortable with "CREEPY?" I'm not arguing with this rule here, but the choice in wording is poor. "Inappropriate" would suffice just fine in place of "creepy," and it doesn't single out anything or any group in particular in a negative way like "creepy" does.

I don't intend to start a whole debate about this, so please let's not go there. I'm just throwing in my two cents and asking if a change in wording may be considered by the OP. Pretty much anything sexual that's out of the ordinary (furries, hentai, etc.) is labeled as "creepy" around here whenever it's brought up, and it's pretty insulting for anyone who has harmless kinks or identifies with a particular fandom to be continuously labeled as "creepy." I'm not talking about shit like pedophilia or other acts like that that are in a completely different league and actually deserve the label "creepy" or worse, I'm talking about harmless sexual interests that are demonized for no good reason.

That said, I absolutely agree that that stuff should stay out of this thread, just as any NSFW material shouldn't be posted around here. But wording is powerful, and I'm sick of hearing everything referred to as "creepy." It doesn't even really bother me much; I'm personally a furry and I'm more than used to "creepy" being thrown around (even when there's no sexual context at all), but that doesn't mean it should happen, and I know others must feel similarly.

I think it is mostly called "creepy" because people seem to feel the need to post this stuff in public, regardless of what kink it is.

Regardless, it shouldn't be called such in a post that's setting a rule to prevent such material from being posted publicly. No one's posting any of that here now, and there's no call for derogative words like that anyway. It's an overused insult around here, and rarely is it actually used appropriately—when people are actually being "creepy."


Anyway, uh...Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays and all that good stuff, I guess! lol I chose a bad time to post a serious concern. :P

I would like to see some stages from some of the character based franchises they haven't shown stages for yet. Like Star Fox and Pokemon. Enough Mario (in general, characters/stages/items) for a while.

I'd like a DKC stage, we haven't had an amazing DKC stage in Smash like ... ever.

There are plenty of places on the net to live out whichever said desires you have or want to discuss, but I'm sorry, seeing people post pictures of very odd Krystal cosplay with the person half naked and posting children characters from Pokemon with huge breasts or Pokemon with breasts or sexualized in some manner is pretty creepy to be seen in OTs of said games.

I have to agree with Kokonoe here. It may not be that way to some people, but a lot of people here on SmashGAF think that kind of thing is creepy. Don't take it personally though.
