^Late, but depends on what you feel like? Are you in the mood for more action rpgs like the KH series in general? Try a Tales game maybe. Do you want more card-based battle system shenanigans? Hunt down a copy of either Baten Kaitos 1 or 2 if you have a Gamecube or Wii with backwards compatibility (II is the prequel, but I'd recommend playing 1 first, to appreciate the changes in 2). It'll prob be expensive though.
Recently, I've been playing Ys II. I finally beat Ys I after being stuck on the penultimate boss for a legitimate 2 months, according to Steam (I only needed 2 days to beat the last boss afterwards, RIP in peace my wrist). The magic system seems like a neat addition, not sure if it'll nerf boss fights though. I've only beaten one boss so far, and that one seemed like it was designed with magic in mind. Hopefully not all bosses will degenerate into shoot 'em up gameplay, though it wasn't too bad anyway.
I've also been playing Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 1. I like it so much better than Persona 3 (my only other foray into the SMT franchise, although apparently Persona should be considered its own franchise). The battle system is good, although the encounter rate is a little high. I like how you can customize each character through mantras. The plot's pacing is wonderful, and always makes me feel like I'm making meaningful progress. The plot itself is odd, as is the cast, but I think it's charming that way.
