Girls with body hair are disgusting

I can deal with a bit of untamed stubble in the winter, but smooth legs are just oh so wonderful. I love girl's legs and for them to be completely hairy like that is a total turn off and an instant deal-breaker. Don't care how natural it is. Its not natural to wear makeup, either. But we all(guys and girls) basically expect it this day and age. Its something we grow accustomed to and its really not our fault or some 'choice' that we find hairy legs or a complete lack of makeup unattractive.

I'd rather not word it to say its 'digusting', but its definitely a strong turn-off for many.

It must suck to be so completely powerless that you can't avoid instantly falling in line to the opinions of those around you.

Plenty of us with out own wills find women without makeup really attractive.

Expressing an opinion over the internet is not shaming anyone to do anything. Having standards and wanting someone to fit within those standards is perfectly acceptable.

Expressing an opinion that basically calls a natural woman disgusting is shaming. Sorry.

I don't shave as much as I could because I don't have a BF and yes I'm lazy. I'd touch up more if I were in a relationship, but if he wants a girlfriend who is totally hairless 24/7/365 then he can pick up the razor and some shaving cream while I lie back with a 3DS.

...Is there a category of porn for that?

I don't mind hair here and there on guys (and I've seen some dudes make thick chest/arm/leg hair work), but it's more socially acceptable for dudes to be furballs to some degree.

Having preferences is acceptable. Having "standards" is totally different, if you think your opinions are standards, then you should check your ego.

Saying you dislike or find something unattractive is one thing. Saying its disgusting, unacceptable, or even worse means you "just don't care about how you look", when the only reason its a big deal is because of your gender is ridiculous.

Then we don't HAVE to go down on you.

If I'm in a sexual relationship with a woman I damn well keep myself trimmed and shaved.

I'm going to go ahead and assume that by "if I'm in a sexual relationship" you mean "if I were in a sexual relationship".

Even "preferences" can just be an excuse depending on context.

I mean I'd prefer threads that makes GAF look like a bastion of 13 yr old hentai watching virgins not appear on my radar but you know.

Personally, I can stand hair on guys, but for me it's mostly a hygiene thing. Most younger guys weren't really raised to know how to properly take care of facial/body hair, and thanks to this internet-fueled resurgence of facial hair, most guys think that growing a beard simply means "not shaving."

Most don't realize that extra grooming is required when you have extra facial/body hair, and so most end up with these dry, scratchy, musty-smelling mounds of shit on their faces.

Applying standards as if they're some sort of factual standards, and criticizing someone when they don't uphold those standards, is shaming.

where do I sign up?

I dislike the culture of body hair shaming and women get it from both sides.

As long as it's not a jungle down there I don't mind. Armpit hair I don't mind either. In fact, I sorta take that as a sign of confidence which is a turn on.

I couldn't resist reading this thread, but now I feel compelled to contribute.

How I feel about female body hair:

Moustaches: Not a fan. I personally don't find a moustache on a woman attractive. I'm not going to look down on a woman that does have facial hair, however. She is who she is, why judge her?

Armpit hair: Indifferent. I could take it either way. I also practice what I preach. My wife shaves her armpits, I shave my armpits. If she's going to be nustling up under my arms when we cuddle or sleep, I don't want her getting a head or face full of hair.

Pubic hair: I love hair or shaved. To be honest, vagina is vagina. I love it either way. But again, I practice what I preach. I trim/shave my junk, and she shaves hers. To be honest, it feels nice having shaved junk, and it makes it more pleasant for her when she's, uh, doing stuff down there, and vice versa.

My masculinity, and her femininity, are not tied to how much hair we have on our bodies. It's absurd.

That's just my thoughts on it.

Preferences and standards in this context mean the same thing. I think you are right though. The word preference is more tactful.

Here is the reality. Genders have different preferences. It's a simple way to explain it, but it is what it is.

I personally find the natural look on women repulsing. And if I saw a woman with beautiful features walking with her only glaringly flaw being hairy legs, pits and arms I would be disappointed and put off.

Just because I find it repulsive does not make me or anyone with the same preferences a bad person. Otherwise, the ladies that comment on how disgusting body builders look are equally as guilty. That's also to say anyone with any sort of reaction to something extreme and abnormal is a bad person as well.

Is the moral of the story here to keep our opinions to ourselves? Or perhaps as you suggested to a have a more tactful approach? Or maybe people that decide to differentiate from the norm shouldn't give a fuck what the haters say and go about it unphased? Maybe it's all of these things.

A woman shaving, trimming etc is simply looking after yourself.

Yeah hair is natural, we all know this. Hairy women are a turn off for me though. Shave, wax, trim or do whatever you need to do if you got overly hairy arms (women with hairy chests too? Wtf). That's disgusting.

I like how you include your age to lend weight to your argument. It reminds me of an old dude who called in to bbc 5 live after a really shitty Tottenham (I think it was) performance where he proclaimed " I'm 61 years old, this was a disgraceful match, I want me money back" I started laughing historically at the fact that he felt he needed to colour his opinion with his age, just like you did here :lol

(There is nothing wrong with it, it's a personal quirk of mine to laugh at things like this)

Besides that I do agree with you when it comes to natural pubic hair :D

Why would it be funny? In context the announcer was implying that he had witnessed the behaviors of several decades worth of games, and saying that in all that time this match was the worst. Such a performance is obviously more of an embarrassment compared to say, the worst match in the season. Whether or not he was being hyperbolic is dependent on an actual analysis of match performance over said decades. Do you have actual issues with long term historical comparisons or something?

Hair is natural on both guys and girls, but there is a line for both and that line can differ by person. I'm not jumping down anybodies throats here, there have been some rude responses and some offensive stuff said, but people are in fact allowed to have their opinions. Some people can think a guy with a massive beard and long hair looks ridiculous and scrubby, and others can think it's attractive. I have a friend whose recently got into girls with a decent amount of body hair... it's really up to opinion. However the way it was presented in this thread by the OP and others is pretty ridiculous. Also some of the snap backs at peoples opinions are over the top as well.

Anybody who doesn't quite understand why the OP's sentiment is wrong should ask themselves how many times they can fill in the blank below and have it sound totally acceptable:

"People with __(physical/mental trait of a person)__ are disgusting"

People who are bald are disgusting

People who have red hair are disgusting

People with large hands are disgusting

People with brown eyes are disgusting, like I'm staring into a toilet bowl of diarrhea,

But arsenic yellow, they were born that way, they cant help it.

AY: They can put a little bit of effort into it, otherwise its a total turn off.

Edit: I am fully expecting people to think I'm being serious.

have they made any advancements on getting rid of hair since 40 year old virgin cause that looked painful

its really just my back and shoulders though im ok with my chest hair

I think it's important to not establish double standards. A natural woman should not be called disgusting but what about a man with a hairy back or chest or whatever else? What about a man who lets his beard grow naturally for years? What about people who are into that no shampoo/soap fad and smell bad? What about men or women with freakishly large muscles? What about bald people? What about people with freckles? Some of these things you can't do anything about others you can which further complicates things.

There are so many fine lines here.

Haha.

I'm so glad I have zero interest in attracting anyone what with all these horrible standards in here from all these judgmental men! Hairy legs, yay! Especially in winter. Nature's own warm coat

None of them should be called disgusting. Get on with your lives people.

I have a good amount of body hair and would feel pretty shitty if a girl automatically judged me super harshly for it. So it would be kind of garbage of me to do the same to women.

I just want someone to look into my eyes and tell me they look like diarrhea.

The brown eyes thing is something I say about my own eyes. I get so jealous of people with blue eyes or green eyes. When I was little, mine were yellow, but they've browned up a little and have little green specks:( It's like my eyes ate too much indian food.

I had a girlfriend who wouldn't shave her armpits and legs once. Kind of my fault, I always said 'do whatever you want, I don't care' she took this to mean not shaving and farting in public is cool. Cared a whole lot more about the burping and farting though.

Straight people are such wussies :P

"Ew ew ew! A little bit of hair!!! GROSSSSS"

Sometimes I feel like it's actually more masculine to want a tough guy

A wise woman once told me that if you sleep with a woman and her legs are hairy or have stubble then congratulate yourself on having game because she hadn't planned on sleeping with anyone when she left the house.

I'm bi.

Girls with body hair are not attractive to me. Girls with armpit hair or facial hair or unruly leg hair are a major major turn off. Guys with body hair are very attractive to me. I've always associated body hair as a manly trait.

why do we even have body hair

Secondary sex trait. It biologically identifies adults from children. It also keeps important areas warm and houses pheromones for sex.

At least yours have green specks.

Mine are portals to a bottomless abyss of decay.
