People who are bald are disgusting

People who have red hair are disgusting

People with large hands are disgusting

People with brown eyes are disgusting, like I'm staring into a toilet bowl of diarrhea,

But arsenic yellow, they were born that way, they cant help it.

AY: They can put a little bit of effort into it, otherwise its a total turn off.

Edit: I am fully expecting people to think I'm being serious.

Reminds me of this: https://twitter.com/expsnghghtsm

As a short guy, feelsbadman. I dont know any other physical trait apart from obesity which is unashamedly vilified like being short (although i say that as a dude)

I'm not sure what all the outrage is over the OPs preference for minimal hair on women. He thinks a lot of body hair on women is gross.

So the fuck what

I'm personally married to a woman with more body hair than what's common, and took zero offense to the opinion presented or how it was presented.

Body hair is a big turn-off. Which is a complete non-issue, since girls all tend to go hairless and it's incredibly rare to even see a bush. Down with the patriarchy etc. etc. not really. Grooming is important and I take it seriously for myself, too. *shrug*

It's really not right to say "people like that are disgusting" about obesity or being short, either. People may have whatever preferences they want, but that doesn't equal saying "it's disgusting". People should say what they do like instead of actively putting people down (in a very underscored way) for no good reason.

Precisely.

Same reason ArsenicYellow should say that "brown eyes is not attractive" rather than "brown eyes are disgusting". One is a preference, the other serves no other purpose but to insult & hurt others.

Even thought I agree with you, I can't deny the use of the word 'disgusting' was far from wise; unattractive would have been far better received.

Or simply "How do you feel about bodyhair on women?" and leave all the judgmental bullshit back in third grade where it belongs.

I think body hair is becoming less and less of a gender thing. Every year it seems like more and more guys are rocking less and less hair.

I know its not right, but you see 'short guys are disgusting' a lot among women (more than anything else anyway) and for some reason its seen as acceptable :/

Tell them to post on NeoGAF so we can sit them down at the sharp knees table

I remember I was doing it with this chick and then I suddenly noticed that she had armpit hair and I paused for a split second, but then I just immediately went back to having sex with a woman. Not a big deal.

This thread reminds me of how we as a society has evolved to become like this...that it's not ok to voice your opinion on a girl's looks because you'll be shallow, but it's completely fine to shred a guy to pieces just because he's slightly fat.

It's OK if you don't like girls with body hair OP.

Don't mind nestling into a pit every now and again. But chest, back or nipple hair is a little much for me, unless it's very fine and fair.

I was about to critisize the op, but I have to admit I'm not sure I could get around that.

Personally, I've been thinking hair removal is kinda unnatural, and leads to like beard level corse stubble on women's legs later in life. Might be better if they never shaved.

Also, are dudes shaving their legs on the rise? Everytime I see a dude in shorts, they seem to have shaved legs, I'm terrified this is a trend that's going to catch on... cause I'm not ever shaving my legs.

I'd love to read about why Americans are so averse to body hair. It's quite an interesting cultural phenomena. There is no real link between hygiene and body hair in most cultures.

Me, I don't agree with the op on the disgusting, but I do prefer a lady without a tash. Also shaved legs are nice.

the op sounded if he was talking less about pubes and more about the entire body. Also
I think the prevalence of body hair really depends on what region you live in. Being raised in the south, I had never even seen a pair of unshaved legs until I moved to Boston. It didn't gross me out, but when I lived down south, I had serious anxiety when it came to hair. I never even let a guy see let alone touch me if I had any stubble. It was because people use shaming words like the OP did, it being "disgusting". Thankfully, my anxiety has gone down since I moved up here. I still shave, but I'm not so anal and I definitely don't shave as much in the winter. I'm definitely not the only person who thinks this way. I grew up around plenty of other girls that had to stay perfectly shaved at all times because it was deemed "disgusting".

Like I said before, its fine to have preferences, and even expected. But when you judge someone for it in the way the OP is, its problematic.

Also a little side question for people: For those of you that think its gross, do you expect your girlfriend to shave in the winter? And by shave, I mean legs, arms, armpits, any of those. I'm not talking pubic hair.

Not quite.
AFAIK, in Islam and most of the middle-east, there's a rather widespread hair=unhygienic link. I believe the Quran ask of both men and women to remove all hair below the neck, and hair on the face unless it's a beard (it even asks men to pluck between eyebrows just as it asks women).

meh. i like bodyhair on guys and dont mind it on girls. i just don't think someone has to have an obligation to keep themselves hair-free at all times.

don't get me wrong, i like a smooth pair of legs but it's not a turn off if she doesn't feel like shaving.

I hope you know I was just giving examples of how ridiculous it can sound. I have no preference for any of the examples I've given.

Of course, it was strong, but it was honest. I'd rather that than some bead around the bush passive aggressive shit. Either ways, OP seems regretful for his choice of words, but I don't for a second believe he meant his personal opinion to be taken as some kind of universal standard.

....

At the same time, I'm not sure creating a thread to tell everyone how disgusting body hair on women is, was ever a good idea for a topic of discussion. It wasn't really phrased to invite what other preferences were amongst the community, heh.

Too much information.

Have you seen pretty much any hot women thread ever? cmon now, you're just trying to feel persecuted here when you really aren't

You can find it unattractive, everyone has their preferences. It's just mean and rude when someone has to call it disgusting and then try and shame people into following their standards which is what the OP is being called out on.

It's best to just not say anything about anything at all ever.

Not quite.

My (muslim) ma bought me a trimmer to use on my pubes, and thats exactly what I do. I feel so fresh and nice, aaaha

I really wanted to be involved in this thread since this is a sensitive topic for me, unfortunately I'm work. Arsenic Yellow did a pretty good job though.

Body hair until now has always been my biggest insecurity, especially being of middle eastern descent. I prefer being smooth, and I don't fault others who have a preference. But to call it disgusting just brings back bad memories when I used to be teased for having noticeable body/facial hair. I'll still break out in tears if someone just points out, and it doesn't help when it's family or someone close does it.

It's costly to invest in removal, but I do it because I don't want to feel gross. Yeah I sorta let myself go during the winter, but there's no way I'll have a hair in sight if I'm going out or have a date.

Seeing stuff like this makes me even more self conscious :-/

Body hair is a big pain in the ass for some women and I've had to spend extra effort to deal with it because of the possibility that someone that I'm into won't be into me if even a little stubble is felt. It's a little humiliating. I shouldn't really care if someone finds it disgusting because that's subjective but when a lot of the male population deems it gross, it tends to spread and becomes popular opinion and if you're a girl who has to put in extra effort to take care of it, it becomes another difficult and sometimes costly standard to live up to. My apologies if this sounds stupid.

Or simply "How do you feel about bodyhair on women?" and leave all the judgmental bullshit back in third grade where it belongs.
And then what ? only people who love bodyhair on women could have stated their opinion in that tread ? or people who find them unattractive would have had to do write a prelude about how their opinion is completly subjective and that women shouldn't feel any obligation to try to please their notion of beauty, etc.. ?
At what point is it no longer being judgmental, but just stating a ( subjective/personal ) opinion.

I keep wondering if a thread title change is coming.
I find original thread titles to be disgusting.

Mods making their own title changes is a matter of forum hygiene really.

I don't mind hair as a rule, nor do I mind most people in their natural state.

I am a "hairy" male, and i find this kind of post bs. i lost all of my confidence because i got bullied thanks to me having chest hair and hair on my arms and shit. stop this childish stuff, got a issue, keep it to yourself.

And men complain about women always being cold...according to society's expectations we're suppose to be thin and hairless, what do you expect! Turn on the goddamn heater!

index.php

This explains everything!

Its a personal thing, for instance "I" dont like hair, but many others do! This stuff is cyclical and its regional, so tolerance is needed from both sides.

Besides, whatever chick the OP was looking at might think the OP is unattractive for a myriad of threadworthy reasons as well.

It's almost like there's a societal expectation that they don't have body hair or something.

I couldn't care less how much hair my partner has or doesn't have. Whatever is comfortable for her.

Until you live with a girl and realize that the way they groomed themselves before a date or a night out actually isn't how they groom themselves day-to-day and that yes, it actually was just to please you (society) and not to please them.

It's a pain in the ass to shave your whole body, let me tell you ... :/

Eff that. I do under my arms daily and legs once a week usually except for winter and that is all I'll ever care to do.

And that's because it's comfortable for me. No fucks about what anyone else thinks or cares.
