Kind of quiet here, are people not hype for daily pics anymore?
Usually quiet between daily pics until Weekend SmashGAF kicks in.

I feel bad for Hideki and Sakurai.
I mean, the pressure to get both Mario Kart 8 and Smash Bros out as soon as possible must be excruciating. And it must be even worse since people expect certain level of quality and quantity.
I wouldn't like to be in their shoes right now. I wonder if other teams are helping out Konno and EAD 1 to finish MK8 sooner.
Reverse psychology! The more silence the more chances o' a megaton!
Can we get this song in Smash when Falcon is revealed?

(Apologies for the quality in the beginning, there literally are no good quality versions of this song)
noep. new thing!Did we know you could stand on the ropes before?

Pic of the day. The ropes surrounding the ring. You can actually use the stretchiness of the ropes to do a spring jump. However, you can't pull on them to launch yourself sideways in a lariat attack though.
Same Zelda pose as before, no Phantom. It's definitely a taunt.
That's not the same pose at all, and you can see sparkles leftover from whatever move it actually is.
But if you're willing to avatar bet me I'm still down.

I don't see any sparkles.
Isn't that Zelda's left/right Brawl taunt?
The character models in this game continue to look really weird. Mario looks pretty weird in this shot.
He keeps not saying the name of that stage...
I like that tiny detail for the -still- unnamed stage.
Mario is fine, but the ropes look really weird.
I don't think the name would necessarily shed any light on this being a Punch-Out!! stage or a generic Smash creation. Nothing's stopping them from naming it The Ring in either case.
It's totally a Punch-Out!! ring though!!

That's the Glitz Pit; Rawk Hawk is backstage getting ready for his grand debut

That light is coming from a stage light.I was wondering as well and zoomed in.Every time Mega Man is in a new screenshot it just warms my heart. Even after all these months, I still can't believe he's actually in the new Smash. My hype for this game and Mega Man being in it is just endless. I wanted him in Brawl so badly.
Anyway, yeah, that looks like Zelda's down taunt to me. There does seem to be a tiny sparkle effect next to her non-waving hand, though, so maybe not? Neat that you can jump off the ropes, too.

Kinnikuman/Kinnikumantaro deconfirmed, preorder canceled.
They won't be in that new jump all-stars game, either...

Fuckin Phantoms, how do they work?
