I loved Dark Souls, Best feeling of achievement comes from completing that game, Maybe the first two Infamous games get better as they go along, But from what they have shown of SS just seems the same as the first two which is good for those who love the games but for me it's same old really, But maybe more footage will change that.

I know there are going to be interchangeable jackets. Don't know about hats. May be there is 'character growth' in the game and he will get rid of the beanie after a while! :D

I liked the original games on PS3 but then my favorite genre is sandbox games so I suppose my love of Infamous 1 and 2 is not surprising.

What I've seen of the next gen sequel looks very good, I'm a bit disappointed at the animation system, it feels last gen, certainly around transitions from movement to movement but for the first title on the PS4 I can live with it.

With luck the game will be the first title that will entice me to buy a PS4, because right now there just isn't enough reason.

I do expect The Order (as well as the next Uncharted and others) to look better than Infamous, but the former is a scripted linear experience while the latter is an open world sandbox game. Infamous is damn impressive with that in mind.

yeah i don't deny this, but no one open world game can be better than a linear scripted game, if this is made from people that know how to do good looking games. At least not with the computational power that we have for now...

What ? ok i know you love your green but dude come on, it's probably the most impressive game shown to date. Don't forget, it's an open world game at 1080p too.

I'm really hoping that this area is as large as it appears to be

The series really hasn't done a whole lot outside of the cities that they take place in. i2 had the swamp area, but it was small, and you couldn't do much in it anyway since Cole couldn't touch water. But this seems to be a pretty big play space to explore.

Exactly... Even their PS3 games especially IF2 was a great looking game for an open world game. And it ran really smooth with all that action too.

Looking forward to seeing new stuff at GDC.

They should jokingly name their tree-simulation tool TreesFX.

Imagining tree powers, I'm either seeing Delsin transform into an ent or do stuff with trees like the swamp-dwelling water benders from Avatar.

I've been looking at my post and I'm still failing to see where I criticized this game lol.
 
I'm really interested to see this presentation since SP isn't known for tech but SS is impressive as hell for an open world launch window game.
 
Infamous 2 was a massive jump up from Infamous in the visual department. Other than GTAV i cant name a better looking(artistic reasons aside) open world game, especially with the amount going on the screen compared to Infamous 2. Sucker Punch got skills. Infamous series has some of the best controls as well.

Glad I am waiting to get a PS4 until this comes out. I want my next-gen games to look next-gen and Second Son is head and shoulders above anything else I have seen. Except for maybe Star Citizen or the Division.

It dragged on way too much, That instead of telling me I should have stuck with the first two games or that they got better as skills evolve etc, It was about a mistake of words........I would have used the beat the dead horse gif but couldn't be arsed.

Was just discussing this with my boyfriend and we are kinda sure there will be water powers just because of their puddle/wetness system.

Kinda makes sense doesn't it? That's a lot of effort to go to just for aesthetics. Not that I'd put it by them.

Ooh, didn't know that there was going to be a bundle, might be how I jump into the PS4!

I'm actually currently replaying through inFamous 2 at the moment trying to mop up the rest of the trophies, and while I really quite enjoyed the game there are definitely a few flaws with it. Despite this, Second Son is still probably my most anticipated game at the moment - looks gorgeous, and I'm hoping powers are better balanced than they were in 2. Here's hoping Sucker Punch delivers!

Yep I fully expect that since they said the game will have alot of rain.

Pretty exciting not knowing the other powers in the game.

Just having a little fun and sorry it was at your expense. To your last comment, you should give Infamous 2 a little time if you like that genre of gameplay. It really is a fun game. ;)
