Conception II: Children of the Seven Stars Rated M by ESRB

I'm cautiously optimistic for this game, there's nothing else in the 3DS's upcoming releases over the next six or so months that overly interests me so I might buy this.

Bravely Default doesn't interest you but this game does? ........................

“You have giant boobs!”

If that is directed to this girl, I will be disappointed by my expectations.

Having played both JP versions, I can say the Vita version is vastly superior. The graphics are really washed out on the 3DS version, whereas they are vibrant and sharp on the Vita. IIRC Vita version also runs at 60fps whereas 3DS version is 30fps. I would never recommend the 3DS version to anyone with a Vita.
Are the dungeons randomly generated?

Actually, in execution, it sure seems a whole lot like a Persona knock-off.
Yeah, I'm watching gameplay videos now and the dungeon crawling is channeling Persona 3 a LOT. Not that this is necessarily a bad thing, if it is even 1/4 as good as Persona then it'll be an okay game.

So is this game good on a gameplay perspective? The boobs don't bother me or entice me, I just like interesting RPGs. If it's better than average, part of me wants to buy it just to support weird as fuck games in the first place. We could use more of those.

Is the story in the second game connected at all to the first game, which was never localized? The whole thing seems a bit pervy, but I can't help but be intrigued by another RPG on the Vita.

Only PARTIAL nudity?!! Pre-order
still needs to be made when I have the money

This is written by the same guys who wrote Dangan Ronpa, right?
Yes, this is being made by Spike Chunsoft.

Yeah, based on trailers & pics, it seems very similar to P3/4's dungeons. That's one of the reasons I got interested in this, since I didn't mind that part of the game (aside from the damn item quests of finding certain enemies & items). Aside from Danganronpa next month, this looks like a decent Vita game & RPG.

As a gay man, I'm just gonna treat this game as a simulation for the heterosexual experience, since I'm pretty sure this is how it's like in real life, right?

Oh yes. Going to order this right now.

Yeah apparently the dungeons are comparable mostly to Tartarus, since they don't change all that much visually or thematically. I'm okay with that, I actually liked Tartarus but I know I'm in the minority with that opinion.
What Atlus team is doing this? What else have they worked on?
They're just localising. It's developed by Spike Chunsoft.

It's a pretty decent game from what my friends overseas say. If reviews are anything to go by, this is probably a solid RPG for 3DS and Vita.

Most likely picking picking it up, not sure if I should pre-order over Amazon or not.

I'll be picking up the Vita version, just need a release date. I hope there's dual audio, but since it's Atlus publishing I doubt it, unfortunately.

I've been considering this. Might be importing into PAL-land considering the chances of an Atlus USA-published game reaching this side of the pond in a timely fashion is 0%. :P

Spike Chunsoft developed this, while Atlus USA are localising and publishing it in North America.

Same writers as Danganronpa, supposedly.

Ah, I see. I think it looks ridiculous, but might support it if it gets good impressions from people.
