Bugger all this depressing shite, lets go back to cars.
My piece of shit:
Cosmetically rough as guts, but mechanically it is getting there. Engine has been rebuilt, electronic ignition, disc brakes have been added to replace the front drums, still heaps to do though. By the end of the year I should have new suspension, transmission and paint, then I can focus on the details like the missing chrome and choosing wheels.
The sort of look I hope I will have by the end of the year, only (probably) in red:
Of course, I wouldn't mind if someone gave me Gitten Jr's drift car:

Also, the 67 is more fesible, since they aren't as rare, and I could logically get one near trashed for under 1000 and do a lifetime rebuild project

Dead Man I wouldn't mind that hunk of shit. My sister's second car in high school was a gorgeous red with black interior 65(or maybe even 64) mustang. I'm envious of her to this day and upset it didn't stay in the family until I could have it.

I don't even feel weird about it. I did visit the Hobbit alone since my friends cancelled the appointment and then all went with different groups, and I wanted to see it in HFR IMAX which meant I had to travel an hour and a half. Worth it.
I just do not like theaters, and going with friends usually compensates for that. And it costs money.
And my empathy goes to TDM and Fiction.
I think one of them was like "take a shot every time one of them says 'can I ask you a question?'" heh
also motorcycles are hot. damn.
