I don't like resolutions rising to decent standards in console games because I miss the one-two punch of soap opera framerates and sterile IQ (due to HD and AA).

Fuck it's on the right too and I barely noticed.

I think it's just my mobile browser failing, looks fine on my monitor.

Now it looks like ass again on my monitor, my mind is full of fuck.

Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. :\

Seriously, when was the last time Capcom put out a shit port? Especially when QLOC was on the job.
 
Wonder if they will milk this 60fps RE4 to next-gen consoles with further upgraded textures for an ultimate ultra HD edition.

Bizarely I'd say Resident Evil 4 from 2007. All the stuff they did in house on MT Framework or Blue Castle, QLOC or Tose ports have been some of the most optimised releases in the last 6-7 years. DmC runs like a dream, Remember Me downsamples to silly levels without busing a sweat and Resident Evil 6 although had teething issues and console grade textures is quiet rock solid now.
 
Glad to hear all of the cutscenes are real-time and in-engine, except for the pre-rendered opening, credits and Separate Ways. This means that our different costume changes will be reflected in cutscenes, which is great.
 
That "cinematic" argument for games is bunk because film is a series of still images that is "exposed" for 1/24th of a second, so when something moves while being exposed, it blurs near-seamlessly into the next frame. There is no exposure time in games, so 30fps just looks more jittery.

It anything, I was playing Quake and Doom at 100fps, and now I'm playing games at 60fps :(

I've only played it once on the gamecube when it came out, really looking forward to this. Not a month ago I got this big urge to finally replay this masterpiece, and I studied all the options to do it on PC but they all seemed awkward or unsatisfactory to me and I didn't want to buy and play the HD release in on one of my dusty consoles, I really hated the fact that there wasn't a great port of this on Steam and there would likely never be because the game was already on PC and CApcmom wouldnt give a damn about fixing it and releasing it again. This is just damn amazing timing for me, it's like someone over there felt my pain.

It's time for link to rescue Elizabeth with the help of super secret spy Bayonetta. Here's hoping my old nemesis/ex partner Gordon freeman doesn't rain on my parade.

Oh god the mods will be glorious. I haven't played this game since it came out on PS2 and I played both the GC and PS2 versions. Game is just spectacular and since it's been so long I can safely enjoy it again.
 
I wonder if developers can see how many people wishlist this game on their end so that they can adjust sales accordingly later down the road.

Dumb question, what video player can I use to play 60fps video without any hiccups? I tried both Windows Media Player and VLC Player, both stuttered like a bitch :(

I used Windows Media Player. Try saving it to your computer -- right-click the link, click "Save As," and save it to your Desktop. Let it fully download, then open it from there.
 
Ok, redownloaded it incase it was corrupted, then closed FIrefox, Steam, Mudbox, and I got through most of it with just a couple hiccups. Looks like wow :)

I disagree. It makes the game much better IMO.

Every game deserves the kind of AA and IQ that PCs afford.

Plus in motion it looks amazing.
