I was about to ask if this was as bad as Punk losing his historic title reign to the fucking Rock, but nah. It's not nearly THAT bad. I'm still salty as hell over that.

I'll never forgive them, the natural big feud of that whole era should have been Cena and Punk. They work so well together, had so much awesome on-and-off history. Other things happen but it always circles back to WELL HERE WE ARE AGAIN JOHN until the WM blow-off.

It could have been Stone Cold vs Rock of years ago, but instead Dwayne the movie star decided to stick his dumb ass head in and sorry Punk, you're out. We gotta 'pass the torch' to guy that has been on top for the last 10 years already so they'll cheer for him even though they still wont lolz.

:|

Now its happening again, they think they need to bring back old Dave. Remember when you actually liked this product????? One of those guys is back please buy our PPV!

Meanwhile the guys carrying this shit the rest of the year are discarded for months.

I HATE WM SEASON.

What did you guys expect? It's WWE. They will always shit on your face and not give a fuck. You guys keep coming back for more. Now we got Cena to give Bray the "rub" aka burial. How many Raws before he calls him Husky Harris? I'd guess tomorrow night.

If Cena does that I swear to fucking god...

You stand there and rant and rave, well listen up JACK I'm about to make sure you get your TAX ALL PAID.

You see I'm not scared of you or your so-called family, EVERYONE REMEMBERS YOU'RE JUST REJECT FROM IRS'S HUSK-HARRY.

*cue rwapadooooooooo*

Bray vs Bryan was really good. Bryan just can't have a bad match.

Brock vs Show was garbage. Even worse than I expected it to be. I wanted Brock to squash Show clean.

Skipped Orton vs Cena until the Wyatts showed up. There was a yes chant when Bray beat up Cena. I love you Pittsburgh. Also I guess this means Cena vs Bray is confirmed for Wrestlemania.

Groaned out Lou when I saw that my Rumble number turned out to be Kofi.

Huge pop for Ziggler. lol

Did not expect to see Nash.

Loved that they actually let El Torito show for a bit that he can wrestle.

Genuinely enjoyed the JBL spot because of how he tried to cover his miserable performance.

Lots of boos for Batista. Again I love you Pittsburgh.

And again boos for Rey, because everyone wanted to see Bryan at 30. These are even louder than the ones for Batista. And it all ends with cheers for the Rey elimination. lol

Everyone from the Shield looked great in this, of course Reigns looked the best. Guess this team is going to split up soon.

Man this crowd is having none of the finale with the final 3. Well they are into Reigns because fuck Batista. Well sadly he didn't win and we get the most obvious shitty ending to the whole thing.

Please no....

Kevin Nash's entrance was unpredictable in its predictability. I didn't think he would be in it because he entered a few years ago and there's been no effort to hide the fact that he was in Pittsburgh

speaking of hosses, was it just me or was there a LOT of big man staredowns in this rumble? we got, at least:
Swagger/Rusev
Cesaro/Harper
Reigns/Nash
Reigns/Batista
Cesaro/Sheamus
Ryback/Batista

probably several others i'm missing. it's a cool spot, but goddamn guys not too much

the Only way WWE can fix this is if they pull a Wrestlemania 9/Hogan deal. Batista loses at WM against randy, Bryan gets out, challenges Orton right there and now, Authority against it, Randy says fine to the match, Bryan wins. Crowd goes wild.

That's the only way they could pull it off, unfortunetly I don't book for wwe.

The only way I see a WM 9 scenario happening is if Orton defends successfully against Daniel Bryan and Cena comes out and AAs him in 10 seconds for the victory and the title

I think it'll be more like, Batista and Orton are cutting promos on Raw tonight and then one or both of them responds to Yes chants by saying "man, I WISH he was in this match with us" or something, then Vince comes out and adds Bryan to the match.

It was an unexpected thing at WM9, but that was WWF where anything can happen. Current day WWE is going to drop the ball on something like that early, so they can tweet and tout and whatever about it for weeks until you're tired of it before it even happens.

Can't they still fix this shit with Elimination chamber? I mean it's all fake, if they really want to they can do all kinds of changes.

Matt Borne is spinning in his grave, man! Never say the F word!

Anyway, they COULD do all kinds of stuff, who knows if they will. I can't imagine WM ending without Bryan having some kind of payoff and the fans having their happy WM moment, but I don't know that it needs to involve the belt.

He will probably get some shitty Brett Hart style match with Vince where he beats him up and it's supposed to make everyone feel better.

They should do an angle tonight where they have qualifying matches to fill the spots in the Elimination Chamber, but HHH says Bryan suffered a concussion last night and isn't allowed by the doctors to compete.

That would actually be pretty sweet if Bryan came charging out, security running after him. Grabbing a mic and talking about how there is no concussion and whatnot lol

WWE's continued insistence on ignoring the talent that is actually on their fucking roster, and putting over fucking GUESTS is reaching a point that is remarkable. I could at least see where they're coming from with the Rock. But fucking Batista? They think BATISTA is some household name that is an obvious follow up to two Wrestlemanias starring Dwayne Johnson?

The ending was awful but the crowd was fantastic. Loved them getting all of our feelings across by booing it all. I hope the booing continues into RAW tonight.

He's supposedly there for a two-year contract, and he's in a Marvel movie in the summer. They're counting on putting a strap on this dope since he's a mark for himself and he'll carry it in public at things like movie openings and the on-screen graphic thing will say "Batista: wrestling champion" or whatever.

They always try and paint this as a positive with lines like, "young talent shouldn't see their spot being given away, they should see the potential future if they knuckle down and work hard." But as I recall, when Rock was an up and comer, his spots weren't given away. Didn't happen when Batista was a thing either. This is time off their current roster's shelf life that they're wasting, for the sake of a photo op with a guy who was a star during a down period. This is why guys like Kofi get just big enough to see a shirt or a hat and try to stay happy at that level.

on the plus side, JBL changing the subject immediately after putting the headset back on is the best he's been at commentary since returning

Lawler did something similar during the 97 Rumble.

"It takes a King..."

Lawler leaves the table, enters the ring, gets immediately thrown out, walks back to the table and puts his headset on.

"... to know a King."

Batista isn't a star. Batista will never be a star. Instead of building up their rising talent, they're pushing a fucking c-list celebrity. Fuck.

I wish Chris Hero was still around. This would have been a perfect way to bring somebody up from NXT. Just take Roman Reigns' spot and keep the Shield together.

You know that, and I know that, but the company's idea of mainstream rub overrides all logic.

He's around

But he's doing mocap work for 2k15. That's just as much of the wwe he'll be apart of.

Best shitting-on crowd since Batista V Big Show for the ECW title. Huh, there's a theme there.

Really shouldn't have watched it at work though. I could not keep a straight face during Zeb's second sign.

It's really sorry when the crowd is more entertaining than your overall product. Even worse is that this is one of the original core ppv's. Rumble, Mania, Summer Slam and Survivor Series all need to be a step above the other ppv's, not glorified Raws.

If ya thought Orton calling them Duck Dynasty rejects was bad, imagine Cena doing that every week for 2 months. and handicap matches where Cena wins. and Bray tapping to the STF. and cheeky references to IRS. etc.

Knowing Cena he'll throw in an inbred joke as well ("You should go back to your mama... or sister... or whatever she is.") and/or a gay joke ("Three big bearded guys in the woods alone? I think I know what rituals you like to perform.").

The biggest WTF last night was Wade Barrett somehow not being involved with #30. Even if he wasn't going to wrestle.

Podium rises.

"Can I have some decorum please? I know you're all excited for the last entrant into the Royal Rumble, but some decorum, please."

People start going ballistic, realizing what this means.

"#30 will be arriving momentarily."

Wade looks around. Sound truck turns on an echo and flange sound effect for his mic.

"BUT I'M AFRAID I'VE GOT SOME BAD NEWS."

Countdown starts.

"Ladies and gentlemen, Daniel Bryan is NOT in tonight's Royal Rumble. Making a return appearance, the man who eliminated me at last year's Rumble but who I've now become best friends with...It's Bo Dallas."

*Buzzer sounds*

Seriously, D. Brine not being in the Rumble was the worst possible news, and you have a guy whose gimmick is to delightfully deliver bad news, and he didn't do it. They didn't do it. They're just such idiots. I'm not even going to say that Bryan should have been in the Rumble. They want to string this along, whatever. You can make money doing that if you do it right. But killing Batista and Rey to do it was a TERRIBLE idea.

Given that this show had HBK and Flair on the panel plus The New Age Outlaws, Orton and Batista all winning their matches *and* a Nash cameo, are we getting close to an X-PAC return and mid card title run?

You will not like the rumoured replacement for Reigns if/when he leaves The Shield.

Dammit, he could be here reading this. Stop giving him ideas!

Big E Langston vs x-PAC at WM 30!!!

Please no.

HOW CAN YOU FUCK UP THE GOD DAMN ROYAL RUMBLE YOU IDIOTS. ITS THE FUCKING EASIEST SHIT TO BOOK EVER AND YOU DONE FUCKED IT UP.

RIP.

Wow i would not want to be rey mistero at 30 i was hype but ...wtf i guess they wanna sell that Daniel Bryan had an absolute war with Wyatt...i dunno. Even worse though is Roman Reigns didnt win? The guy is on FIRE i wonder why you dont let him win . Theres a lot of undercard talent, Ziggs, Cesaro!!!!, Big E I hope they work on the US and Intercontinental Titles now that the Tag Team division is back, they have too many guys and one top title. Wtf are they gonna do with CM Punk now? Im feeling they have been building toward him vs HHH or hell maybe Roman R now since he got screwed at the Rumble. I expected swerve ...but I thought it would be either a surprise 31st after seeing the 30 *Da UndaTakea* or something, or Reigns getting out Batista and Punk just to set the place A Blaze.

The only good thing about this is Batista being pure heel BROtista...yes i will enjoy that you stupid babies and fat chicks.

to be fair, we don't need one.

we need the pink polo BroTista , i needs that. Hunter and Steph are some damn good trolls, i fully expect them to soak up all the reaction they are getting due to the booking. HHH is definitely going to do a WM match....again...

They should have had Brock go undefeated since his return and gave him the belt before Mania. Bryan wins the Rumble, and Brock vs. Bryan at Mania with Bryan going over. I guarantee you the reaction would be unprecedented.

To me, the only logical thing would be to scrap the rumored Bryan vs. Sheamus match, and turn it into a Money in the Bank match (add in Sandow, Cesaro, Swagger, Miz, Kofi and Rey? whoever), and have Bryan win.

Then, Orton wins over Batista with interference from HHH and Steph and they're celebrating in the ring. NO CHANCE hits, and Vince walks to the ring seemingly to join the celebration. He asks for a mic and says "Congratulations Randy Orton. Ladies and gentlemen, still your WWE World Champion, RANDY ORTON!" Steph and HHH raise Orton's hand, all smiles. "But...," McMahon adds. Orton and HHH have a 'wtf' look on their face. "I've been in the back, and I couldn't help but notice that the crowd was chanting for someone that wasn't even in this match," McMahon continues. At this point, the buzz in the arena starts to grow. McMahon says, "This is WrestleMania THIRTY and I never would have gotten to this point if I had ignored the crowd and not given them what they wanted. Could you imagine if I had ignored them about HULK HOGAN! "STONE COLD" STEVE AUSTIN! THE ROCK! Therefore, we will have one final match, IN THIS VERY RING. Referee, come on down here. And HHH, Steph, and anybody else, if anyone interferes on behalf of Orton, Orton will automatically lose the title. And Orton, there will be no countouts. Get us a referee out here. Now then, the challenger, and cashing in his newly won Money in the Bank contract is...

*"Flight of the Valkyrie hits, and the roof blows off the arena*

Bryan runs out, and we get a 5 or so minute impromptu match. Finish comes with the running knee to HHH when he tries to interfere, and then the knee to Orton. 1-2-3! The roof blows off the arena one more time, and the locker room empties to celebrate with Bryan as WM30 goes off the air with 'YES! YES! YES!' reverberating throughout the arena.

Of course, I typed all that to end it with "lol WWE and logic, yeah right". :(

Guys, this is WWE. They don't go out of their way to give fans what they want, and they certainly don't change existing plans to do it.

You likely won't even see Daniel Bryan on Raw tonight.

Deal with it.
