To me, the only logical thing would be to scrap the rumored Bryan vs. Sheamus match, and turn it into a Money in the Bank match (add in Sandow, Cesaro, Swagger, Miz, Kofi and Rey? whoever), and have Bryan win.

Then, Orton wins over Batista with interference from HHH and Steph and they're celebrating in the ring. NO CHANCE hits, and Vince walks to the ring seemingly to join the celebration. He asks for a mic and says "Congratulations Randy Orton. Ladies and gentlemen, still your WWE World Champion, RANDY ORTON!" Steph and HHH raise Orton's hand, all smiles. "But...," McMahon adds. Orton and HHH have a 'wtf' look on their face. "I've been in the back, and I couldn't help but notice that the crowd was chanting for someone that wasn't even in this match," McMahon continues. At this point, the buzz in the arena starts to grow. McMahon says, "This is WrestleMania THIRTY and I never would have gotten to this point if I had ignored the crowd and not given them what they wanted. Could you imagine if I had ignored them about HULK HOGAN! "STONE COLD" STEVE AUSTIN! THE ROCK! Therefore, we will have one final match, IN THIS VERY RING. Referee, come on down here. And HHH, Steph, and anybody else, if anyone interferes on behalf of Orton, Orton will automatically lose the title. And Orton, there will be no countouts. Get us a referee out here. Now then, the challenger, and cashing in his newly won Money in the Bank contract is...

*"Flight of the Valkyrie hits, and the roof blows off the arena*

Bryan runs out, and we get a 5 or so minute impromptu match. Finish comes with the running knee to HHH when he tries to interfere, and then the knee to Orton. 1-2-3! The roof blows off the arena one more time, and the locker room empties to celebrate with Bryan as WM30 goes off the air with 'YES! YES! YES!' reverberating throughout the arena.

Of course, I typed all that to end it with "lol WWE and logic, yeah right". :(

you mean coming full circle from SS 2013?? You sir make too much sense for wwe creative, fired.

I love reading this with your avatar yelling it, it's fantastic:

I left Generico off because he's injured. He should be pulled up soon, though, I agree there.

PAC's got potential out the ass, but I'd like to see him debut in the summer when the show's not booked to casuals exclusively. Same for practically everyone on NXT save for Rusev.

Bo's a special case. His current gimmick works on NXT but I have trouble seeing them translate that to RAW without wrecking it. Actually, they probably can, but I doubt they have it in them to not fuck everything up with commentary. Then again, that goes for everyone. Maybe Bo's not a special case. His in-ring still needs work though, so I say keep him in dev for a while longer.

Fucking Corey Graves--REALLY???

Enzo's injured as well but I agree he and Cass should be called up ASAP. They're too good to keep off TV.

"Look, Maggle, that's Bo Dallas! He's the NXT Champion! I LOVE THIS GUY, MAGGLE! Maggle, I run NXT and this guy is the best we have to offer. He's the nex JBL, Maggle!"

I don't think Corey Graves is that bad. I see guys acting like he's Miz level and I don't get it.

He'll be on Raw, only to be saved by Cena during a Wyatt Family beatdown.

:(
I wonder when D.Brine will win another match again.
Apart from tag matches with Cena where Bryan plays the face in peril, D.Brine may not win a single match during the entire 2014 calendar year.

He hasn't won one yet and January's almost over. What a loser! It's like his NXT run all over again.

If HHH really wanted to fuck with Bryan and the WWE fanbase he would have played it cool after Bryan got concussed and had him be a suprise entrant in the rumble and win it.

Then the next night on RAW HHH would say that Bryan didnt pass the Wellness test before entering the Rumble and therefore was not cleared to wrestle so his win doesnt count and the title shot goes to the last person eliminated.

Would have fit.

The heat would've been nuclear and Cleveland would've literally disintegrated.

GIF of 2014 winner already done.

Not having him there at all basically did the same thing, just without the leg work.

What a shitty PPV. Bryan/Wyatt was okay, kind of felt like a RAW match. Bork v Show was an awful, awkward squash with 20 minutes of chair shots followed by 10 minutes of recapping chair shots. Cena/Orton was standard garbage. Rumble itself was just sort of there.

Lawler did something similar during the 97 Rumble.

"It takes a King..."

Lawler leaves the table, enters the ring, gets immediately thrown out, walks back to the table and puts his headset on.

"... to know a King."

I miss heel lawler. I know practically his entire career in the ring had him as the, well, babyfaced babyface, but he was gold on commentary as a heel, with both JR and Vince. As a face commentator, he sucks. So much.

Wyatt was fantastic. He is really not getting the credit he deserves. I actually think that he had to go over Bryan

The Wyatt build has been good in the last few months, Bryan really made that faction. Unfortunately, it's all going to be a waste if Bray turns out to just be another Umaga, a big heel built up to lose to Cena.

Why would he wind up as anything else? Cena doesn't put new talent over. He pours gasoline on their gimmicks and their pushes and lights it ablaze.

No. Windham Rotunda makes that faction.

I can't decide if I'm more pissed off about this year or last year. Punk's historic title reign ending and Cena winning the rumble so we could have a rematch of a WM main event that sucked the first time was pretty damn awful. But I dunno, this year comes pretty close. It was exactly what I feared would happen, but there was a faint glimmer of hope that Bryan would be number 30 and win it, or failing that CM Punk would win it. Oh well. I'll just have to deal with it as Batista suggests. Still, Bryan vs Wyatt was great.

Now the morning after, I have some thoughts

- I still find it crazy that the entire crowd was not only booing Rey, but they cheered his elimination. Just someone you would think would always be cheered

- They really needed a Diva's match or something on this show. There was almost half an hour between the Big Show/Lesnar match and the bell ringing for the Cena/Orton match- another match to buffer, even if only a 5 minute long AJ win, would have helped the pace

-Of the 6 surprise entrants- Kane, Torito, Rusev, Nash, Sheamus and JBL- i'm kind of dissapointed we didn't get to see Rusev eliminate anyone, that Keven Nash didn't last long enough to be in the ring at the same time as Kahli, which would have been entertaining. Also, what happened to Titus O'neal, Darren Young, and Xavier Woods, all of who were announced either on TV or the website and weren't in the match? And is it just a coincidence that all 3 are black?

-That JBL spot probably should have been Daniel Bryan, but I don't know if putting him in the match is a good idea if he wasn't going to win the whole thing (you don't want to beat him twice in one night)

- JBL giving a speech about the physiques of Cena and Orton in their match while the crowd was shitting on it, and Dave's rumble promo just being him flexing his muscles and saying "that's why" should tell you all you need to know about this company

-I'm afraid that Seth Rollins is going to get lost in the shuffle once the Shield break up and Ambrose and Reigns feud (probably starts and No Way Out when Reigns somehow costs Ambrose the unification match with Big E). Seems like the 2 Wrestlemania matches possible out of that would be Reigns vs Ambrose, or Reigns and Big E vs Ambrose and Rollins, but normally a singles match is the right choice for WM.

-NAO winning the tag titles is probably a simple transition to a new babyface team, but I don't see how putting the titles on say, the Usos, really makes much a difference from Cody and Golddust right now, and I don't think anyone wants to see the Rhodes brothers break up right now

-Somehow, I think that Cena-Wyatt doesn't happen, and somehow ends up a 6 man tag instead. Cena/Bryan/X vs the Wyatts at WM?

-

No. Windham Rotunda makes that faction.

The faction has been on the main roster since July, but only heated up in the last few months. That's from the Bryan storyline.

Bray is a solid wrestler but he can't have good matches with everyone, he needed a match like this one with Bryan badly, because I've seen so many people claiming he can't wrestle based on his inferno match with Kane.

So they're muting the crowd in all the delayed broadcasts of last night's ppv overseas. Which means the dvd won't have the crowd. Also means they're gonna have to mute the crowd during every title match until D Bry wins the title or we give up because this thing isn't going to end

I look at somebody like Antonio Cesaro and see a guy who's one of the best workers in the company and is barely on the radar for TV and rarely on PPV's. It's a shame. He goes great along with Zeb, so if they removed Swagger away from them it would be a step in the right direction. Cesaro is severely underused right now, and probably will be in the foreseeable future.

It's sad that we've come down to making fan fictions for Daniel Bryan.

That's not a coincidence. They're still paying their dues for Martin Luther King Jr. month.
Feel free to counter this observation by pointing out the litany of African American world champions that we've had other Vince McMahon's reign.

Because I'm only immediately recollecting this guy...

Letting the natural crowd reaction come through unscathed wouldn't be good for business.
I know what's good for business because I'm Vince McMahon, damn it. You sheep will cheer for who I tell you to cheer.

Because no one wanted to see Rey in the Rumble. They were hoping for Bryan to be number 30 but we know how that turned out.

That's how I feel things will happen as well. Unless they do Ambrose vs Reigns vs Rollins at Mania like what happened with Legacy at WM26. That or Ambrose vs Reigns with Rollins essentially in both their corners or as a special enforcer.

Guys, this is WWE. They don't go out of their way to give fans what they want, and they certainly don't change existing plans to do it.

You likely won't even see Daniel Bryan on Raw tonight.

Deal with it.

They've changed plans because of reactions plenty of times. Hell they just changed the Bryan/Wyatt story the other week to have him leave the Family early, due to the negative reactions and the YES chants getting over in sports games.

I'm feeling a triple threat match at WMXXX for the Shield. Ambrose beats Big E at Elimination Chamber and unifies the titles. Ambrose and Reigns get at each other, Rollins does his best to tame them... shit breaks loose. Triple Threat match is booked for WMXXX. This would be a career making match for all three of them. Even though Reigns is the most over right now, this would be the chance for Rollins and Ambrose to really step up. I think the three of them have the chemistry, talent and workmanship to put on what may be the best match of the night.

I still want Taker vs. Sting

Reigns should win King of the Ring.

They should bring back King of the Ring so he can win it.

"The King Reigns" is too blatantly obvious a tagline for Roman or them to use. He can be "The Smiling Joking Boring Never Losing Babyface Roman Reigns" instead.

Because no one wanted to see Rey in the Rumble. They were hoping for Bryan to be number 30 but we know how that turned out.

The problem is I was doing the math in my head and knew Rey was confirmed for the rumble. And Big E, and Del Rio... it became pretty obvious around #22 or 23 that Bryan wouldn't be in it.

I remain convinced he wasn't in it because he's going to fight the Undertaker. It's all I can think of.
