Wait...there were sentinals in the 70s? I thought they were a new invention in the modern era..?

I mean they don't even show up in X-Men or X-2 and barely in X-3...

Now starts to get interesting ... quicksilver and the big ones

Furriness xD

Hang on, are these supposed to be placed at the side of one another to make one continuous image?
Who the hell has space to put 5 meters worth of side by side magazines anywhere?

These are pretty hilarious to me. I'm still surprised they brought Toad back in these movies. Looking forward to the rest lol.

EDIT: I just looked at that list someone posted of the covers. Rogue is still in this? I thought all her scenes got cut?

Wait. Are people really complaining about Toad's look? Have you guys seen how he looks in the comics? It's all over the place and this is far from a bad version of him. There's really not much you can do to make a frog guy look cool.

They were. This promo was probably already set to go before that decision was made though/ they probably don't care since it's a reason to put Anna Paquin on the cover.

There would be reshoots. Singer is doing everything he can to add SOME Rogue scene

So judging from these promos, they've cut basically all the characters introduced in First Class except Havok?

Hmmmm. Skepticism rising.

I think Singer is mostly interested in the characters who have a direct link to the future which he created in the first two movies. Seems like while this originated as a First Class sequel, it evolved into his own fanboy take on Days of Future Past instead.

Something about QS feels...off. I'm not concerned, though. It should make sense in the film.

I think it's his expression. As if he's doing taxes rather than running really fucking fast and then trying to look as flippant as possible.

He could not be less interested in what he's doing.

So instead of one decent cover, they make 100 bad ones? Why do they even bother? Shouldn't these things be interesting if they want people to shell out for them?

If for nothing else, Whedon sure doesn't have a high bar to walk over now for his take on Quicksilver.

He looks like a background character in a Leiji Matsumoto production.

The viral marketing makes it seem like they've been a major presence since the 70's, which doesn't mesh with the original trilogy at all.

Among other things..
Future Wolverine has adamantium claws which contradicts The Wolverine. A viral video shows Magneto is imprisoned for the assassination of JFK, and is imprisoned for over 50 years. This means he is only broken out when Future Wolverine travels back in time. He would still be in jail during X1-X3, so confusing.

I'm thinking X1-X3 are not the same timeline as the bad future in DOFP, but The Wolverine clearly leads into it so I don't know.

Continuity is not a strong point in the X films.

He has that edgy "I'm too cool to care" look. :p

He also looks like Hit Girl from Kick-Ass.

Why does Quicksilver look like a male version of Romona Flowers!?

God, most of these covers look atrocious.

You guys are missing the 70's feeling ... or think the photoshop crew of Empire is doing the movie =P

Also, hilarious for you to say that he is a male version of Ramona Flowers because a friend always say that the should be one of those "looks like Michael Cera guys"

Everything we see something new about this movie, my expectations get lowered, and they didn't start high at all. First class was a decent film, definitely better then the garbage X Men films previously, but this one is going to be equally as garbage as 1-3.
