Gaf just shits on everything. These don't look as bad as people are making them out to be. Wolverine looks great, and I'm not even a big Wolverine fan.

How come the the future X-Men look a lot better than the past X-Men?

Wait, what? Rogue!? I thought Singer cut her out the movie, why have her on the cover if she's not in it? Ohmigod, we were deceived.

The future covers look so much better than the past covers. Seeing all these character's being revealed is actually getting me excited again. I guess the marketing team have done their job

Poor Rogue, falling victim to the "ass shot" trope of women. Thankfully Storm and Mystique aren't posed that way.

I didn't even notice lol, after True Blood I'm kind of desensitized of Anna Paquin.

Blink's still my favorite, but I've been a huge Blink fan since Age of Apocalypse.

But I've already played Beyond: Two Souls.

So a collector has to buy each one of these covers separately?

Pretty much. And at £3.99 (approx. $6.61) an issue with 25 different covers and that's £99.75 (approx. $165.42) for the entire set. These companies must love these multiple cover editions.

Didn't rogue get cut out of the movie?

I believe the Empire Twitter page mentioned something about the Rogue situation being talked about in the magazine when they showed her cover.

So was Quicksilver shoehorned in at the last second because Marvel announced him in Avengers? Who announced him in their movie first?

Considering that looks to have a big part in
releasing Magneto from the prision ...
I don't think he was shoehorned

Avengers 2 did first, but because of the way the licensing is handled for both Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, they can be used by both Disney and Fox. Fox can't mention that they're Avengers, and Disney can't mention that they're mutants, or who their father is.

Loved the burn on his beard

Why was Rogue cut?

There were rumors (mostly based on the previous trailer's frames) that
she was in a mutant concentration camp being rescued
.. so they probably just cut the
rescue
part

Patrick Steward posted this and deleted a few seconds after

Damn, I was hating on everything (except maybe for Blink), but this one is actually great.

Fassbender is normally good, but compared to Ian McKellen he merely looks like a kid in a Halloween costume

I guess Bryan Singer is biased...

Now we just need to tell WB/DC to give Batman his comic costume.

You mean grey and blue? Why would a guy whose whole thing is hiding in the shadows and striking fear in peoples' hearts wear anything but black and maybe dark dark grey?

God, seems like a real missed opportunity to have Rogue without her stolen Ms. Marvel abilities at this point... Would be an amazing "Oh shit Rogue, what happened to you?!"

Don't know much about either actor, but it's too bad the two studios didn't cast the same actor. That would have been neat.

People probably want Adam West costume ... they were basicaly asking for

Do people actually want to see Huge Jackedman in a yellow/blue costume with a stupid mask?

Yes, but for all the wrong reasons. Or atleast all the reasons contrary to why I'd want an X-Men movie at all...

Frankly, I have no issue with the Singer X-Men movies. Black suits are fine by me, and if those movies were done now, I'd still want them in black (though obviously with some modern design sensibilities and not just leather jackets etc). I like my X-Men as a sci-fi black ops group. Not blue jumpsuits with yellow underwear, or a silver bodysuit with ridiculous shoulder pads etc. First Class made it work as a uniform, but I can't say that would fit the modern day or future stuff very well.
