I don't think a 1-to-1 translation of his bright blue and yellow costume would translate perfectly to film, and I agree with you about the ears. I always preferred the designs where his ears are shorter and closer to his head anyways. I think something like that, with the yellow and tan colour scheme (or yellow and black) could work well.

Give him a ski mask + kato masquerade mask for a missiom that then evolves into the short ear Wolverine mask. So simple

It's a cool design, makes sense with the 'lasers n ships' future they are patrolling. I can deal. I wish they made the 70s Sentinel more threatening or something though if they where gonna go in a weird direction with the future ones.

Hoping for Master Mold shows up in the finale or something and is what a Sentinel should be.

Thinking about it, it reminds me a bit too much of the World Engine or w.e. the fuck the octopus thing was called and the Kryptonian tech in Man of Steel. Especially if it starts shape shifting.

As a plot choice, I can see it, but I think it's a mistake to not have the recognizable big purple robots in the film, at one point, for fan service.

Wolverine wearing a mask in a live action movie where none of the heroes/villains (except Juggernaut in 3) are wearing masks seems dumb. Wolverine looks pretty great without it too. Coming from somebody who has always adored that mask.

Think we're overreacting a bit to the sentinels too. I mean, some of these design choices aren't great, but same thing happened with First Class.

I always believed this movie has pretty high chance of being a disaster, but it could be pretty awesome. Holding out hope, but I'm being realistic.
