Well... I went to look for Skittles commercials to turn into Potential Marshawn Gifs... I came up with these pretty quickly.

If I had any photoshop skills I'd edit in Marshawn's head on this one, and I guess in this case a Broncos Logo. If you can do that... go ahead! and I guess this is ok to post. lol edit Top of the page! Great!

I know, that's what I was saying!
Carry on then.

Are you trying to convert FMT into a Seahawks fan? Because you are sure going about it the right way.....

Tiger would be a fan of the Seahawks I would think, since Sherman and Baldwin are Stanford men!

He was already at the Chiefs vs. Broncos (the first one) earlier this year. He's a Peyton fan judging by the Tweets he sent to him when he broke the TD record.

Plus one of the greatest Stanford alumni ever happened to don a Bronco uniform at one point. But yeah I'm sure he gave Sherman and Baldwin an autograph.

That greatest Stanford alumni ran our lord and savior Tebow out of town on a rail, though. Someone as classy and intelligent as Tiger would never respect that!

Edit: Just in time for the big game, The Lifelong's Guide to the 2013-2014 Seahawks.

John gave Tebow more of a chance than any team in the NFL has so far! He let him run the show in Denver, and when the time came Elway set him up on the position to take over Sanchez's job and establish a new Kingdom in the heart of darkness the AFC East. If Rex hadn't have meddled with Sanchez, Tebow would have been the King of New Jersey. But the Jets fucked up, and the buttfumble was payment for their sins. Then as we can see the Pats cut him and all hell broke loose.

Lets not distort the history, nor taint the good name of Elway. You can try to treat him like Harbaugh, but it wont work!

Thinking about this all day today. How on Earth are the Broncos D gonna stop Beast Mode? He ain't no Blount.

Broncos run D is legit. Not the best, but they're solid.

With a guy like Lynch, you can't really "stop" them anyway. He's going to get his. You just do what you can to limit the back-breaking 20+ yard rushes.

He very well could go off into Beast Mode. The one thing I will say in defense of our ... defense is that we have faced the league's best RBs and came out fine. It is a tenet of a Del Rio defense to stop the run, so it's always a high priority.

As far as the notable RBs we faced this year, 4 out of this list are top 10 rushers via yardage. CJ2K is 11th:

Mathews x 3 (59 yards, 127 yards, 26 yards)
Charles x 2 (78 yards, 93 yards)
Shady (73 yards)
Morris (93 yards)
Murray (43 yards)
CJ2K (46 yards)
Blount x 2 (13 yards, 6 yards)

Not too shabby. It doesn't mean much at this point though. They have to stick to their game and hopefully they can slow him down enough.

With that I'm off, have a good one!

This isn't a swipe at the Broncos' D, but the fact that CJ2.5K is 11th in the league in rushing is sad.

Those are pretty good numbers though, especially Blount.

I wonder how much the fact that the Broncos have a crazy offense played into those numbers though, maybe teams abandoned the run because they were behind?

Evaluating Denver's defense against the run is a lot more complicated I think. I mean when you're down by 20 points against the Broncos you can't really run all that much.

Golden Tate is smashing a 45 year old?!

You're looking at it wrong.

That 45 year old is getting smashed by Golden Tate.

Tate has a girlfriend I think, so I don't think anything actually happened (lol pro athletes being faithful in relationships)

Man, the rest of the sports leagues suck.

Disappointed I haven't received any offers from NFL teams yet. Well, the Browns called, but…eh.

Maybe so, in 2012 the numbers were nearly identical. Additionally, Seattle's defense averaged 1 more rushing attempt per game against them then Denver did this year. Could be skewed because of the offense, but the attempts per game says otherwise.

there is always a reason for the numbers. would wussle have his numbers without a good running game? could the seahawks stick to the run without a great defense keeping the score down? could the seahawks defense be effective without the use of PEDs? i don't know the answer to these questions. i just dont fucking know

I'm looking at the stats and they're interesting. In the regular season both DEN and SEA gave up up 3.9 yards/carry and with the exact same number of yards (1626)... but SEA only gave up 4 rushing TD while Denver gave 15.

I got a question you can answer FMT, are we gonna play Rust sometime or what biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig boy!!

I'm not that worried about Lynch either to be honest. That's not saying he won't have a great game, but I'd take him doing well opposed to Russell buying time with his feet or running himself. Broncos D has done well most of the season against teams that do straight forward runs. Where we've been burned multiple times is on QB scrambles or trick plays. With Von out I'm not sure how well we contain (luckily both Rivers and Brady were immobile). Guess we'll see.

i'll get on rust friday for sure!

Russy boy is the lord of scrambles, guv!!

Seriously though I hope they let him run and exercise the read option, he's been squirming around in the backfield like a little booger and that ain't working cause our offense kindaaa smells like burnt ass hairs right about now!! >:(

i have seen the seahawks run the "read option", only it's not a read option because wussle has no intention of keeping the ball. i think after he took some big shots early in the year cheatin' pete dialed it back and it's no longer an option. maybe they've been setting that up for a good part of the last half of the year so they can take advantage in the superbowl!

Sure. The yardage gained to get there wasn't due to rushing though. Which based on how Seattle operates its offense is more important than what happens inside the redzone. Its one thing to finish a drive in the endzone, but another to sustain the run.

I respect the playmaking that Lynch brings. But attempts are attempts and regardless of the score the Broncos still have to make the play. So I think the numbers are solid.

As far as Russ, I wonder how they will play him? I've been thinking about Alex Smith more and more. I need to rewatch how we played him because I feel thats what they will do. Just a guess though. Bad part is Alex had good games against us.

A bit of a different beast though, because Russell's deep ball is light-years ahead of Alex's, and that's what he's primarily looking for when he leaves the pocket. Will be interesting to watch.

I'll take your word for it becuase I don't know the numbers between the two on depth of target. Even with that said I still think Russ and Smith are very much alike at this point. Which isnt a bad thing. They just feel very similar even though Alex is more pocket and Russ is a bit more scramble.

Anyways I'm off now!

Alex is much more polished when it comes to the short/intermediate passing game (although play-calling may play into this). Russell just has a better arm for the deep ball. His arm strength is so much better than Alex's.

Alex can throw a good deep ball though, he did it several times this year with success. Even so, deep ball is good for what 5 attempts per game? Low accuracy throws as well typically. Short to intermediate passes consume most attempts, so it pays to be more accurate in those areas.

Now I'm really going to bed. Have a good one!

You know how every website you visit people bitch about the super bowl being in a cold weather location?

ITS HILARIOUS that if it had been in Atlanta or New Orleans, and todays storm had fallen on the weekend the game would have been delayed.
