Yes, I can try with IBL on.
Is IBL off?
People using ENB at all and getting somewhat ok performance out of it, or even 60fps makes me jelly as fuck. I apparently need a 2GB card at least, since I'm clearly hitting a vram cap with my 1gb.

Excuse me for my ignorance, but what's IBL?
Is there any way to protect a save so to speak when adding new mods? Recently got the expansions so I need to update some of my mods but I don't want to lose my save file I've put so much time into either.
Goto your mydoc|mygames|Skyrim folder and make a copy or start up your save, hit the tidle key and type into the console "save updatingmods" without the "". You don't even have to use updatingmods just put whatever you want.Is there any way to protect a save so to speak when adding new mods? I had that problem as well. Check my last post a few up where I linked a guide which I found to be pretty damn good. I just installed everything over the past few days, very carefully reading all of the instructions, and I haven't run into any major problems thus far.
There are only a handful of variables that really impact performance with ENB: Size and texture scale for SSAO/Reflections and the various filter/precision qualities (tweakable in the GUI, generally they go from -1 (highest) to 2 (lowest)). Find out what values your PC can handle for those and then just copy those settings across if you're trying some new settings. The same applies to the DoF, just copy the entire prepass.fx file across.I know how you feel bro, the only ENB that doesn't eat my FPS is Opethfeldt's.
If you were using SSAA then that would be just as performance heavy as downsampling. You don't have to downsample from 4k, try something like 2240x1400 (for 16:10) or 1440/1600p. If you don't like the EdgeAA disable it and just use the subpixel AA.So, any solutions for making ENB much sharper and less blurry through better AA? I am thinking about reverting to an older version, because I much prefer SSAA's clariy than the Edge AA in the newer versions of ENB.
Downsampling would be too demanding for my rig.

I got rid of the GiveFirstBornToSheson line, and haven't had a crash in over two hours. So I'm guessing my game ran out of video memory.
Use SSME instead, it's the same thing, supremely easy to install, and doesn't bastardize skse.

Been there for a few days, and it's only now getting the recognition it deserves. It's amazing. The guy who made it doesn't even play Skyrim, he came over from FF:NV, and delivered the goods.
I recommend it to everyone. You can adjust the values if you want, but right now the default is working fine for me. Better than fine really, I keep waiting for the crash, everytime I open a menu, or zone or something. It should be crashing, and it doesn't. It's glorious.
ENB's shouldn't be blurry, if they are it's likely you have some kind of Depth of Field active. Hit crtl+enter and disable it, or delete the file from your Skyrim directory(prepass I believe), or install a less obtrusive one, etc... I use RealVision and K ENB and I disable the DOF on both. It's awesome for dudes uploading screenshots of their waifu's to Nexus, but for normal play it's just supremely distracting. I want my game to look like my eyes are there, not my eyes through a camera lens.
If you use Chrome the forum doesn't seem to like editing, just hit save and wait a few seconds, the edit is there.
And I probably shouldn't implicate myself like this, but those shout animations are adorable. Also the description under minor issues is hilarious.
Haha...implication noted. Here is his next release. Just scroll down a bit.Use SSME instead, it's the same thing, supremely easy to install, and doesn't bastardize skse.

Princess' Horse Riding
Wish there were a simple way to install custom animations that you could use on the fly. There is mod called Dev Tools, that allows this but no ones made any compatible animation mods for it. A mod called FNIS I think..maybe allows for it but I'm not 100% sure.Heh, I actually kinda like that. If I could key toggle it, I'd probably use that.
Set your monitor to 30hz and force triple buffering might do the trick. Hell, I might be 100% wrong but try anyways.Anybody have any tips on how I can get skyrim to run at a stable, locked 30fps sans stutter and with vsync? I've tried forcing vsync through the NVidia inspector to no avail, and the frame limiter for ENB is terrible.

Note the framerate is tanking pretty hard at this point(sub 15 fps, it's usually +/- 60). It's a 20v20 battle IIRC and I have a follower throwing ice storm, which is tossing bodies everywhere.

No crashes though.
Mod Organizer is just like the Nexus Mod Manager except it doesn't install any of the mods into your data folder. Meaning you still have to install an ENB manually and it should work with the steam overlay.Does mod organizer work with ENB and/or the steam overlay?

Yeah, Lakeview Manor is pretty bad when it comes to stuttering. Building my next house in the Pale, that's for sure.
I...actually forgot you could do that. Well I'll be. I think you can only build one though right? And once one is built you are stuck with it?

	Hey all,
I was wondering if anybody had any experience using Mod Organizer and could give me some advice on some trouble I've been having...
In general, I basically can't seem to load the SKSE loader through Mod Organizer with an ENB turned on without the game crashing at the menu.
To start off:
- It's not a load-order conflict. I've turned off all of the mods installed so that only Skyrim.esm, Update.esm, and Dragonborn.esm are running. I'm not sure if the issue has to do with any of the .dlls for SKSE that are installed into the Skyrim folder, but I am taking a look into that.
 - I have already performed a clean re-install of Skyrim.
 - I have also performed a re-install of Mod Organizer.
 - I am running the latest version of the ENB wrapper that is appropriate and has been tested to work with the ENB profile that I'm using.
 - I am running the latest version of SKSE.
 - I CAN get the game to run normally either by running SKSE loader outside of Mod Organizer (which, of course, defeats the purpose, since none of the mods will ever be loaded in that scenario), or by simply running Skyrim.exe from Mod Organizer.
 - I CAN get the game to run normally by loading the SKSE loader WITHIN Mod Organizer, provided that I delete the d3d9.dll.
 - I am NOT running OneTweak. I know that's a fix that's been mentioned on some places, including the S.T.E.P. forums, but that unfortunately doesn't apply to me.

Can anybody provide some tips or assistance? I was really looking forward to trying out that memory boost patch that was recently released since my game is rather script-heavy and tended to crash a lot, but right now, I can't get the game to load up a good ENB profile (which makes the game much more visually pleasing and tolerable all these years later).
That's some really weird problems there. I have 3 dll's (enb, smaa and ssme's DLL) running in my Skyrim game folder and mod organizer runs fine.
Did you manually install your enb preset as well as the appropriate enb version's DLL and enboost.exe from the enb website, unless its running an older ENB DLL.
Also check Mod Organizers INI editor on the profile that has the mods installed and see if "bFloatPointRenderTarget=1" is not folder.ince every MO profile uses separate INI files. Unless you installed Mod Organizer after you had already changed the INI files in your "my games" folder
Yup - the .ini file is properly loaded, and I've checked the one inside of Mod Organizer. I can also confirm that I know the ENB is working since, so long as I either run: (1) Mod Organizer using Skyrim.exe, OR (2) run the SKSE loader directly, I can see the ENB effects working in game. The problem is that they won't play nice together!
I did install the ENB profile manually. To my knowledge, everything that needs to be there is there. I wasn't aware that ENBoost had become its own .exe, though: isn't it technically loaded within the d3d9.dll and can be set to be 'hyper-active' within enblocal.ini? (Otherwise, I'm actually running the latest ENB, so I don't think it's a version issue).
Thanks for the quick reply, though. I'm still trying to figure it out, though I think I need to step away for a bit to just get a sense of what's going on instead of blindly trying to look at files and logs.
Bloody brilliant work, fixes almost all my major issues with the initial release. At this point, the only thing that I'm not a massive fan of is the reduced distance fog. Makes the world seem a bit smaller (tbf, it IS small, but it's nice to have the illusion of it being bigger preserved).NLA Update released
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50065/?
- Added Nighteye functionality (thanks Aiyeen & JawZ). Can make it brighter if people want.
- Fixed ambient rain sounds playing in normal overcast weather. More sun comes through the cloud cover, too.
- Lightened the ambient value controlling grass in overcast weather. Grass will be less dark against the ground in the daytime.
- Reduced particle intensity in some weathers. Certain things like Flame Atronachs are controlled by this variable,
having too high a value makes them insanely bright. A side effect is that some waterfalls and splashes don't
look quite as bright as they should.
- Drastically lowered Lens reflection intensities. Will fix spell casting and other things causing blinding lights.
- Reduced SSAO scales to 0.5 from 0.75.
- Improved snowstorm and fog weathers.
- Adjusted cloudy and foggy weathers to work with the new cloud lighting and new volumetric rays functions.
- Included new sunsprite files from Matso, gives a corona effect.
- Included new atmosphere mesh from JawZ, makes smoother transitions from horizon to middle to top.
Does SKSE work if you launch Skyrim from Steam? If not then:
1. Rename TESV.exe to Skyrim.exe
2.Rename skse_loader.exe to TESV.exe
3. Create SKSE.ini file inside Skyrim/Data/SKSE folder to which you write:
[Loader]
RuntimeName=Skyrim.exe
4.Save and run game through MO.

I don't know of any mods that deal with just respawning cells but you could grab Skyrim Immersive CreaturesDoes anyone know of a mod that allow you to change/shorten to cell respawn time?
My understanding is that it is set to 30 days by default, which is far too long, IMO. I end up wandering around with nothing to kill.
So far I have only been able to find....
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/7157/?
...This mod looks quite old (I want something that works on Dragonborn too).
If there is no decent mod, does anyone know how to edit the cell respawn time through a config file, or something?
Thanks
There's a mod to clean up dead bodies, don't what its called or what exactly does. What we need is decomposition mod (can't this mod anymoreIs it cell respawn time that controls when bodies get cleaned up as well? There's nothing more annoying than venturing into a major city only to find bodies still haven't been cleaned up after days.
I may be able to help. I put up some youtube vidoes about the Organizer when it first came out. It is really just making shortcuts and fooling Skyrim into thinking those items are in your game. I have never had a crash related issue like this.

Mod idea, Priest's of Arkay should come and cast a resurrect spell and take the dead to their temple, only in and close to towns.
