Depends on if someone wants to make one but I dont think in years past we opened one for chat during the SB. I think we talked in here during about them and then someone usually made a thread after to discuss which ones we liked or hated

American Super Bowl parties are not easy. Don't even think of insulting. There will be people standing in front of the television. Everyone will be talking LOUDLY about their personal lives, CBS television comedies, along with the President and taxes.
Over 80% of the people that attend Super Bowl parties do not care about the game at all. Of the 20% that do care, around 15% of those people are ESPN fans who don't watch the games, but they have something to say about Manning, Sherman, and the 12th man.
Most likely those fans will be sloshed by half time, and will be too busy getting up every 5 minutes to get drinks and eat, to actually worry about the game.
So you are left with a party where 95% of the people there are either oblivious to the game or so distracted by the "party" that they ruin watching the game for the 5%ers who actually care about watching the game.
