Apparently there was very little snow prior to a significant snowfall last Friday of about a foot. You could say.. that it was an indeterminate amount.

That's any room with a critical mass of athletes in it.Whatever, show me the mythical Olympic orgy room.
Wow, ITT I learned that in some countries its common to throw toilet paper in the actual toilet. Wtf. Here (Brazil) we are thought not to do so since we are really young. :lol Thats so weird.
Yeah man, come to America, you can flush a fucking ham in the USA.
Putting TP in the bin is common practice in a lot of the world. Not a big deal.
The lack of privacy, though...
Fun fact: all the main venues were built on top of a swamp. Stalin planned to built an airport there but bailed out because the whole thing would had sunk sooner or later. That didn't bother Putin though.I wonder how the actual event venues are going to hold up. I shudder at the thought of a major power failure during one of the events, or some other construction-related mishap when it's at capacity.
For all the worries of terrorism, I'd be equally as worried of something falling apart on its own.
Russia: Don't be gay.
Builds infinite single sex mega gloryholes.
Its almost like looking at an Olympic village in North Korea.
Bros don't let bros run out of tp.

Reading about how disastrous Delhi was before the commonwealth games has made me feel a bit better that this won't be a disaster somehow. But who knows.
Three? That's any room with a critical mass of athletes in it.
I live in Spain. I've never seen anything like that in over 30 years, not even in the most rural parts of the country. I also travel frequently to France. I honestly don't know what are you talking about.
Some more tweets from journalists arriving. CNN have one of their 11 rooms booked. Think Putin is trying to tell the free press exactly what he thinks of them. http://mobile.bloomberg.com/news/2014-02-04/toilet-trouble-at-the-sochi-olympics.html

Doesn't really explain why people have found a few more though...
wow
So.. why is there only 2 toilet bins for 4 toilets.
Edit: Who's job is it to empty/clean the toilet bins?Poor fellow
Here's a nice Imgur album on some of the more questionable construction work in Sochi.
Place is a mess.
Perfectly normal across East Asia.
I still flush the paper in my apartment though. I ain't emptying that bin.
The "no TP in the toilet" is actually pretty common in mainland Europe.
Is the no flushing toilet paper thing still common in Mexico? It was common in California schools for students from Mexico to throw the shit paper in the corner of the stall or the trash bin. I remember they would issue statements over the intercom telling the students to just flush the paper.

If you have an hour, watch this documentary. Explains the reasons behind everything pretty well.

Edit:
And my theory with the double toilet is, that it was originally meant to be a bidet in the original plans, but at some point someone thought "What the hell is that? Let's just put another, cheaper seat here, and be done with it".

Ok, so you pee in one drawer and poop in another. But what about the third one?

Why did they pick that city for the Olympics if they can't even have decent hotels, or even safe streets.
