Windle Poons
Made a crappy phPBB forum once ... once.
Very few A340s in service.
Posting this for new page. Excellent video

Yeah the more I read about it the harder it is to believe such is the case. The people running this through simulations are saying even if you bypassed the protection system that dont allow you to retract the flaps accidently, you would lose lift but it would not cause the plane to fall out of the sky like it didi am sorry but planes should have automatic systems that either fix these pilot errors or let the pilots know that they have made these errors. this is the second or third time ive heard stuff like this happening.
they are relying too much on pilots getting everything right. maybe have a screen up or a voice confirmation after pilots have taken an action. so they dont have to triage the issue with seconds left to live.
this is why i hate flying. statistically this. statistically that. i couldnt give a fuck. i dont want to put my life in the hands of retards.
Yeah, but this is the first ever incident of this type for this plane. It was in service 11 years.I'm still leaning towards dual engine failure and the terrible engineering standards set by Boeing
broken link sirYeah, but this is the first ever incident of this type for this plane. It was in service 11 years.
I don't see how the engineering could be at fault when there have been no prior incidents, and no hint at this kind of failiure for this aircraft.
Yeah. I am thinking the plane needed some serious maintenance.RIP to the victims. Hopefully we will get all the reasons for this tragedy and that for once no one blame the pilots before we get all the facts. And that Boeing is not responsible for this.
I see the ex employee post has been deleted. Any truth to her actually working there and making those statements?
Follow up video now he thinks it's a double engine failure. A support propeller deployed which provides emergency hydrolic pressure. Also some are saying that the landing gear is angled like it was being retracted then may have lost power which supports the hypothesis.
I can only think of fuel contamination would cuase this
Oh NOW he thinks it's double engine failure and not pilot error?Follow up video now he thinks it's a double engine failure.
I mean, we're all speculating from grainy footage and he claims as much very explicitly in his original video multiple times. Then he adjusts his views based on new information. No need to call somebody who admits they were wrong a clown but okOh NOW he thinks it's double engine failure and not pilot error?
What a clown, clearly got called out on his first take so he had to pivot.
Yes I will, because he could've taken more time to make a more well-informed, responsible take.No need to call somebody who admits they were wrong a clown but ok
Yes:
Or:The 787 pilot I follow on Reddit called it from the beginning too, but got downvoted so I didn't see it

Poorly written? What?Or:

That article about the switches is pretty poorly written. I'm still leaning towards third-world maintenance but hopefully they release some preliminary findings soon. It seems like cracking the mystery of 'did someone fuck with the fuel switches before or after losing thrust' shouldn't be too hard with an intact black box.
