[AP] India fires missiles at Pakistan

I hope some of the air fighter fan sites get enough delicious footage 🤤 to do a nice reconstruction of this battle.
FTFY

In a world where even Muhammad's goat has a 4K cellphone, I would be very sad if the biggest dogfight in my lifetime didn't come with some awesome shots.

Let there be peace, but if there's to be war, we need cool shit. 😎

I dunno, if they were all in their own airspace lobbing missiles at each other, it'll just be some small dots in the sky

It look like that it was probably the biggest air battle of the last 50 years.

Kinda crazy that these type of videos are being uploaded given OPSec and how fast folks are able to geolocate a shrub in a random seemingly nondescript field somewhere. Wouldn't be surprised if that AA is toast by now.

Karachi looks to be the next target for India.

RELEASE THE KARACHKEN!!! 🤨👉🏻🦑

Sorry, had to say it. 😅

Time for Pakistan to unseal their shipbreakers. 🫣

Watching Indian media, I wouldn't be so cocky about Pakistan being surrounded, because Pakistan is Islamic and if peeps like one word in arabic, it's 'Yihad'.

And there are rising islamist powers, like Iran, and circa 2B muslims all over the world.🤷🏻‍♂️

It would be boring as hell (to watch).

Everyone was not only on BVR but at extreme ranges, plus and they never crossed into another's country territory.

They probably lobyed missiles at each other at the outer edge of the weapons envelope at high altitude until ran out of ammunition.

There should be absolutely no question on where western (USA) support is in this conflict. Everyone needs to remember who was giving bin laden safe harbor.
India is such a critical partner of the US this should be a no-brainer. Just think, if they stop answering service calls how will I know to check if my PC is plugged in?????

But seriously, they are a massive check to China and one of the largest militaries in the world. Makes no sense siding against them after this event.

Not sure how much American's know about cricket but India and Pakistan have suspended their leagues

That's like America cancelling football, baseball and basketball all at once. Billions watch the cricket there.

I am not understanding why Pakistan's Turkey made drone found being intercepted in India and India's Israel made drone being intercepted in Pakistan is news because Israel and Turkey is mentioned ? Is it not common knowledge country buy stuff from other nations ? Why is Turkey made such a problem ?

Looks like ramped up attack on Rawalpindi (Pakistan's military HQ). But no military asset is damaged per Pak state media.
Pakistan is finally applying a no-fly zone to their commercial flights (which is insane they hadn't already done that wow) Edit - Airspace closed from 3:15am till noon.

IMF sanctioned 2Billionar dollar to Pakistan for relief despite India's long letter to urge them not to citing Pakistan's lending habit and no returns.
India told the IMF that Pakistan has been a "prolonged" borrower with a poor track record of implementation and adherence to programme conditions. Out of the last 35 years since 1989, the IMF has disbursed funds to Pakistan for 28 years, including four programmes in just the last five years without significant reform, it said.

Also G7 Nations Update - Same old

*S400 was a big one, but actually India's unique integrated air defense system including its indigenous Akash and quick response short range SAMs etc etc, it's one layer in many

China is making fun of india

India has several PL15's now which is their brand new long range missile (PL15E only inducted 2021) and busted their premiere HQ9 air defense system and so now know they can do that, so idk what China's happy about

Anyways, Pakistan continues to ramp up and target civilians:

There's as many phases to Sindoor as Pakistan keeps responding to, I'm sure of it. Keep this up and it may be Navy and BrahMos time soon.

Pakis did a press conference explaining (their side of ) the engagement.

This is gold material for anyone that likes this kind of stuff. DCS jocks are probably already inside the editor working on things...

edit: just a disclaimer
"Pakistan's claims remain largely unsubstantiated. Pakistani officials have now released radar data and audio recordings, but they cannot be readily verified independently. There is visual evidence of at least one of India's Rafales having been lost. There have also now been multiple reports on Indian Air Force losses, citing unnamed U.S., French, and Indian officials, but they disagree on the exact numbers and circumstances. Pakistan has also denied losing any of its aircraft in response to unconfirmed counterclaims."

How long before the tech giants pool their finances together to start raising an army of their own to protect theri

Give it time...hit a tec center and most tech giants will be funding their own military

I hope the west tells India to deal with it themselves, even if a nuke flies. They don't care about Russia attacking us, hell they even pretty much ally with them.

I wonder what this would mean for the west.

Maybe India should divert the Gagnes to Pakistan to make all of pakistan sick or sent them some indian street food.

There's a higher chance of one of the two blowing up themselves with the "nuclear threat" without even successfully getting an ICBM out of a silo. If they do indeed have a functional one and not just boogey man PR/propaganda.
Yep. Reminds me of that time India accidentally launched a missile into Pakistan during maintenance, then Pakistan fired one back and also hit Pakistan.

Yes, europe and the free world.

Russia attacked Ukraine, not "Europe and the free world". This whole war could have ended in a quick peace settlement if "Europe and the free world" hadn't turned it in a proxy war against Russia. It's just a horrible bloodbath with no end in sight despite Trump's promises.

That's all I have to say since this thread is about India vs Pakistan and not the war in Ukraine.

Remind me again how several European countries spending more on Russian gas in an afternoon than India does on Russian oil in a month doesn't fund the war fund, but India's relatively tiny consumption does? Because of talk and rhetoric? Direction with meager reductions?

This is just the n'th instance of pure western hypocrisy

European problems are the worlds problems, but this is just those two brown countries fighting and both are the same, this mentality is gross and needs to end

Ceasefire agreed to and brokered by U.S.

For all the jokes about Pakistan and I guess push by some to support India (lol nice try), world largely sees them the same and of similar strategic importance (militarily)

Glad there's a ceasefire. Maybe now some of these self appointed experts in here can stop pretending they know exactly how things will unfold, like confidently claiming there's 'no chance' of escalation (or nukes). None of us can predict that with certainty, and speaking like its fact is just delusional

Shame this won't happen between Ukraine and Russia. This 30 day ceasefire isn't going to happen. We should have armed Ukraine but an unconditional ceasefire would be less likely. You don't give missiles and tanks to bring about an unconditional ceasefire, a conditional one maybe. There wouldn't be a ceasefire between India and Pakistan if we gave Pakistan missiles to hit India. I think Russia is going to have to be defeated.

I have to read about the ceasefire in detail but India put up condition that next terrorism attack will be considered as an act of war. Ofcourse India will not have conrete proof his opposition will agree on (because its hard to) and Pakistan can hide behind plausible deniability.

Though IWT (Indus Water Treaty) will not be active again and is truly abolished. Pakistan in due time surely will approach International court claiming it as illegal but per much what I have read on experts opinion, India or Pakistan both could have exited the treaty anytime given proof of material breach and considerable change in scenario due to global climate (which is true).

India had urged Pakistan to come to table for re-negotiation in Jan-2023 also but I can't find any source if they did had any talks after that.

It's not like the civilian government of Pakistan has any say in what the armed forces do. If they feel emboldened by their Chinese weapons they'll keep the fight going.

And do you think that chang the energy source for a whole country is done in a day? It's not like turning a switch.

Why would you post first two months of invasion instead of something more recent? Pointing out "western hypocrisy" and then posting outdated data lol.
