There's a SLIGHT HINT of the foliage noise but I think it's more to do with the fog rolling around than the GI noise that was there before PSSR2.What you means for foliage noise? The infamous strobospheric shadowing effect? Because if it's still there fuck, it's the only thing which really I can't stand and I would be extremely disappointed.
There is a video comparison about it? Because I'm very sensitive to this stuff and I'm scared the improvement couldn't be what I expectedThere's a SLIGHT HINT of the foliage noise but I think it's more to do with the fog rolling around than the GI noise that was there before PSSR2.
I played a little bit and it's no longer distracting to me and I was very annoyed before.
It is. The Division 2 still holds up visually to this day despite being a PS4/Xbox One game due to their talented artists and engineers. It's great that PSSR finally showcases their work properly on console. I legit cannot wait to see what they have in store for Division 3 in the coming years.Yep, so far the biggest jump i've seenis Avatar performance mode. I really like snowdrop engine. If I remember correctly, that was what Division 2 was made on.
I'm telling you, it's so much better. I'm honestly very easily bothered by noise and the boiling effect and flickering and now I think this game looks great and 100% playable. There is a video about it? Because I'm very sensitive to this stuff and I'm scared the improvement coukd be enough for my standardthe boiling effects in the foliage is mine worst enemy
I just got back into it during the anniversary sale and event. It looks fucking awesome on PC. Decent amount of players too.It is. AVATAR
That's the most stark difference of all.
Parece que passou de 1080p para 4k.

Doesn't this only work for games that supported PSSR? RE4R doesn't support PSSR on Pro.More RE4R. Honestly I noticed the better IQ quicker than I did when I first got my OLED. And this is the only game I've seen so far.

Before I crash for the night I'm definitely going to fire up Control, Requiem and Silent Hill 2.
So far this has been the best thing that's happened this year for me when it comes to games![]()
it does, DF made a mistake claiming that it doesn't but then corrected itDoesn't this only work for games that supported PSSR? RE4R doesn't support PSSR on Pro.
It's gone for the most part, but you can still spot it in places at a distance(like a couple of feet in front of you) that's Silent Hill 2There is a video comparison about it? High on Life 2
RE3R looks cleaner

What Project Amethyst needs to deliver next is for the PSSR Toggle to replace FSR with PSSR without a developer patch.
The game doesn't support PSSR...RE3R looks cleaner

It does, both Village and RE4 support PSSR but only in HFR mode. DF also stated that Village uses pssr in 60 fps mode but that is not true, at least not in current version. Only HFR modes support it.Doesn't this only work for games that supported PSSR? RE4R doesn't support PSSR on Pro.
Dude, that's the same thing the regular PS5 does without PSSR. That's a Silent Hill 2 issue, not a PSSR issue.

Not sure if you are missing things.
But this is dirty as fuck
First berserker is not using PSSR at all. The placebo effect is huge. xDThe first berserker on performance mode still has some noise, but it appears much sharper than it used to. Especially hair is resolved much better which I remember really annoyed me back then.
RER3 not uses PSSR though.RE3R looks cleaner

Searching online there's nothing definitive, some sources say it does others it doesn't. Performance mode was always rough and the noise patterns always reminded me of PSSR which is why I tested it. It didn't look like any other obvious upscaler to me.First berserker is not using PSSR at all. The placebo effect is huge. xD
Are you kidding? Ghosting on TSR in SH2 is far more pronounced especially in objects animated in motion. The ghosting is unique to the Quality mode which uses PSSR. It was really really bad. The Performance mode, which does not use PSSR, does not have this severe ghosting and I had to look really really hard to see any at all so I can only conclude that the issue is from PSSR.
*EDIT*
To clarify, this ghosting effect only appears when forcing PSSR2 as I have been playing the game on the Pro using Quality mode and do not remember seeing the issue with the original PSSR. This issue may be worse in this specific area but it was the first area I tested after resuming my save game and I was surprised to see it looking that bad. However, I suspect that forcing PSSR2 at a system level will have these 'side effects' as it is a generic implementation of the new upscaler not one patched in and customised for the game via a patch.

I tested out Jedi Survivor and posted a comment earlier. The video comparison of AC Mirage above gives a good idea of the difference. Suffice to say, the boiling/swimming artifacts are completely gone, and it's sharper and more detailed to boot - it looks fantastic.Star Wars Jedi Survivor and Silent Hill 2 please
