I don't get what Beth got to make her stab someone in the middle of a hallway between two groups ready to shoot each other with a lot of guns.

There's shock for me because of how long Beth has been around and I generally kind of liked her.

However, I'm a bit disappointed in how it all went down.

My man.
Eugene been knocked out for 2 months
Big laugh for me. Guy's been perma-banned from the show.
They blew her brains out.

Too bad Glenn is still alive.
Seriously. Glen has just been 'dead' weight to me for a bit. He needs an episode or something.

Seemed to me she saw this would just continue as long as Dawn was alive. Definitely could have been a way smarter and less "possibly get every single person killed" way to do it, but eh.

I'm super angry because I just fell in love with Dawn, and I've always loved Beth. This is the most devastating episode of TWD for me, EVER.

Blinded by the luminous glory that is David Bowie's physical manifestation.
That was really stupid script to get rid of Beth. Really? She just walked there and stabbed the leader with a scissor in the middle of negotiation. What was her motive? She was just mad at Dawn that's it?

She was mad at Dawn because she didn't change. She was doing the same thing the previous officer was doing. Protecting one for herself to use. I'm wondering if Kirkman is going to elaborate on Dawn and the other officer/her Mentor's relationship. I'm wondering if Dawn's mentor sexually abused her like the male officers sexually abused that previous person that attempted suicide before Beth joined the group.

Morgan is the guy with the son who helped Rick in the beginning of the first season, correct?

Yup that's him. Also the guy they encounter in episode "Clear".

Also count me in as one that agrees Beth did what she did knowing what would happen or assuming it would.

I say we just pretend that Beth was eaten by the cannibals and pretend this awful hospital story never happened. And skip those episodes on repeats.

There goes Beth. Not like she had a good run. She was on the show day 1? Or close to. At least the farm which was like Season 2.

A Shining Example
Good episode but I saw Beth's death coming from a mile away. I did the calculations and I knew her number was up. The part where Maggie returned and Michonne told her she was alive sealed it for me.

Haha, that was an awesome rundown of the opener there Keegan :D

Good question.

I don't see why people disliked the way beth died. She sacrificed herself to end the cycle that was going on in that hospital. She helped out lots of people both there and the future because now people won't be picked up an enslaved.

YES it was poorly thought out in terms of the fact that it may not have played out nicely afterwards but not everything can be flawless. She decided to do it last second, it was the only way out, probably realized the other cops are good peeps and Dawn is the last bad one left. So she went for it.

How was that going to end the cycle? Somebody can take Dawn place and resume Dawn's work. There are still some asshole cops in there.
it ends it because dawn was the last bad cop there. And she realized it at that point. She took a risk. It worked out knowing she'd die. Who are the asshole cops there? They all seemed like the normal ones left. The rapist and Dawn were the last bad ones.

Of course anyone can become evil overtime, anything can happen. Doesn't make it dumber.

Dawn seemed like a pretty weird character.

She seemed to recognize the horrible things other people were doing, but felt like she needed to let it happen for stability's sake. But then you could see moments where she did show she would be strong enough to stand up to these people, but she still takes the easy way out of keeping things the way they are.

I am no producer... But why not put your money on a strong character like Morfan instead of hoping you can catch fire with an all new cast?

I guess from a story point it makes sense...... But still

According to AMC, most of the fan feedback is how's rhe apocalypse in other parts of the world. The main show focuses on the US, but what about Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America?? There's a potential for at least 5 sideshows focusing on the main 5 continents.

The bald head guy who tried to kill Daryl? Did Beth know personality of every cops there? How do we know that nobody will take Dawn's place? They still need to keep that place going.
