Is it not possible that Jesus helped him out? That's what I was thinking.

Don't forget tho that Dwight had asked Rosita and Spencer to get Daryl's bike, back in episode 4 while he was at Alexandria. I think he was planning on helping Daryl escape since at least that episode. If it wasn't him then it definitely had to be Sherry or maybe even both. No way Jesus knew where Daryl was being held.I don't think so
- He would have needed to know Daryl's exact location and status
- Then he would have to find the right key for the door
- Then he would have to sneak past security to get to where Daryl is
I think all Jesus really did was scouting and trying to learn as much as possible about that place in the short amount of time he spent there
It has to be someone who despises Negan, knows Daryl and is an insider who knows where they keep prisoners and cell keys. I think Dwight doesn't have the courage to pull something like that, especially since he already is in a shitty situation, so only person that comes to mind is his girlfriend
After telling someone on here the other day it couldnt possibly be Jesus.....the show sure made it seem like it was him...lol.
If he slid him the note, why wouldn't he just open the door. Dwight or the wife I bet.

Good points, bit stupid they didn't reveal who helped him. Maybe it'll be revisited next half season. No doubt Negan will wan't to find out how he escaped.
Because Jesus works in mysterious ways.
Look at Negan's stance in this picture.

True, good points, but we also know from the comic that Jesus is a sneaky and witty son of a gun. Though the probability seems low that he could just waltz in and find the right key undetected.
But would we really put it past the show at this point?
Reminds me of a bad ass western movie poster. Good deal.
I don't read the comic so I don't know how Jesus is being portrayed there, but Negan mentioned that all of the shit happened during one day and I just don't buy that Jesus is capable of locating Daryl's exact position, getting the key and then setup a mysterious gift to him instead of just opening Daryl's cell himself and escaping with him in that short amount of time. Add the fact that he isn't familiar with Negan's HQ and that there are dozens of guards walking around and it just doesn't make sense that it was Jesus who helped him
Yep lol so cheesy. Terrible episode imo and bad acting for the most part.I liked this episode, but the ending was like the family guy star wars joke when they were above the Sarlacc pit with just doing head nods for five minutes with no dialogue.
I downloaded the app and just plugged in my direct tv info for anyone who missed last nights ep.Can't you watch it on amc.com or something?
At the very end and just after they raided the lake place. When in the episode is there someone spying at them?
Do we ever learn where Paul Monroe gets his skills from?
hell yeah ricktatorship bout to be elevated
These characters are so dumb. How do you miss a point blank shot to someone's head?
That was enjoyable still.
This is one of those shows I desperately want to give up on. At the same time I've wasted so many hours over 7 years watching this.. I feel like I have to keep going (or at least until Rick dies).
Quick question; How many people are actually supposed to be at the Hilltop? I don't mean core characters, I mean population total (roughly). This whole build up to 3 factions teaming up to take on the Saviours sorta falls flat when pretty much every scene of the Hilltop is practically devoid of life. I know we've seen the odd random person but it feels like they've never actually established that the Hilltop specifically has a sizeable force like the other 2 locations which alone just can't stand up to Neegan. The other two places at least have some semblance of life about them. Maybe it doesn't in the comics or is it just a(nother) thing the show has portrayed badly?
Ah thanks! It was mentioned in the Letter Hacks for the comics that, but it hasn't been brought up in the actual comics themselves. Kirkman said we'd learn more about Jesus soon, but that was awhile back!his father taught him
Eugene is the best.
This show is probably going to be still going in 10 years lol. This is one of those shows I desperately want to give up on. At the same time I've wasted so many hours over 7 years watching this.. I feel like I have to keep going (or at least until Rick dies).
Love Negan for taking Spencer off the show.
God damn hate that guy.
The number one thing I preferred in the comics over the show when it comes to the saviors is
COMIC SPOILERS
How in the comics Rick was planning to fuck Negan up from day 1, where as in the show it seems like he only just came around to the idea of fighting :/
comics:Can someone in the know give me as small of a spoiler as possible, and let me know if Negan sticks around and builds any kind of friendship with Carl?
