007 Legends |OT| This never happened to the other guys..

What a full blown failure. I can't believe that ending got a green light, something is very wrong there.
The bugs and glitches are a pain too :(
When the Icarus was shooting it's laser into the Biodome, my gun kept jumping around the screen. Like sometimes it was in the top left corner and sometimes top right....everytime the laser fired.
The amount of stealth sections failed because of bad clipping as well, c'mon guys...gimme a chance if youre gonna force me to be stealthy!

..youre better than this Eurocom.

I guess this was produced within one year as they only finished GE: Reloaded last year.

Redbox'ed it using the free coupon code.

The first Goldeneye level wasn't too bad. I thought reviewers were overreacting.

Then I played the OHMSS and LTK.
My God. Whoever came up with that stupid one on one melee needs to die a horrible death.
Same goes for the person who came up with hummer driving scene in LTK. I thought they'd at least re-create the tanker driving scene but noooooo.

Returned it the same night. I'm so glad I didn't buy this turd.

I'm up through the skiing section in OHMSS. This game, this game is not good and it pains me to say it. Everything reeks of rushed development. Not only is Eurocom reusing a lot of graphical assets from Goldeneye but almost all the music is just recycled from Goldeneye as well as Bloodstone. And I'm convinced the stupid punchout segments are in the game because Eurocom didn't have time to properly create exciting QTE moments. The one positive I can say is that the shooting feels nice and smooth but there's nothing to break it up except for the bad minigames and on rails segments. And oh gosh the load times. Freaking ridiculous.

I'm hoping it's not an indication of how they'll treat the Bond games now. They tried something original with Blood Stone and fell back on a Goldeneye reboot and now rushed bullshit.

theres this guy that was beasting everyone and just dominating in MP legends mode, my god haha he won like 10 games in a row.

I also rented this from red box with the free code and had a fun time with it but if i had bought it, then i would have been pissed

I really, really like Bloodstone. Even the driving sections. Actually, if I really liked the driving sections in Bloodstone, what would people recommend to get more of the same?

Finally we agree on something. I think Bloodstone is one of the 3 most underrated games of the gen. The game's length is perfect for multiple playthoughs, and the gameplay is so addicting.

OOOH SHIT YOUR BACK!
To keep it on topic.

Loved Bloostone as well.
Bizarre could make pretty good 3rd person shooters (The Club was really fun as well)
To bad no one played them and Activision just shut them down

He'll I loved bloodstone so much I might stream a second run of it soon

Right now in love with Agent Under Fire

I hated Bloodstone, it felt like a poor mix up of Uncharted and Splinter Cell Conviction. Some of the levels were just super bad like the underground tomb. The driving section in the Bangkok level was a joke too.
Also, the Daniel Craig character model looked worse than the one that was in the Wii's GoldenEye.

...plus Joss Stone as a Bond girl? LOL!

I thought Bloodstone was a pretty good game. As far as games go, it's the definition of average, but I thought it was a really fun Bond game. Plus, the multiplayer can be fun when used sparingly.

Bizarre Creations lifted the Everything or Nothing formula from EA almost exactly. That game had Mya as a Bond girl, who also performing the main theme.

It's not worse than denise richards in a real bond movie, playing a nuclear physicist with a stupid name. At least Joss Stone is playing some rich socialite or whatever.

You know what I loved about Bloodstone... the melee attack animations are fast, efficient and not disorienting. I'm playing RE6 right now and I almost don't want to do melee finishers, the fucking camera spins around and I lose track of everything momentarily. Even great games like DX HR have those really annoying cinematic cutaways. Why can't everything do it like Bloodstone?

The posters in the OP are the best haha.

Inserting Craig into all these classic Bond movies is so offensive a notion in its own right that I just can't get over it.

Yeah, a game based on a movie franchise and it sucks. That never happened before.
what the fuck, the Chrome extension colouring my own posts is messing up because your username also has Haunted in it. :lol

Was confused for a second there when I scrolled down "wait a sec, I never posted in here, why is this post lit up"

Did anyone actually have a little fun with this game? I managed to snag it for $20 cause I was craving some bond action and now this thread has me 2nd guessing my purchase.

I got the game in a B1G1 sale and haven't even been able to convince myself to finish it. It's a complete and utter rushed mess of a game that spits on everything Bond. I'd just take it back and go get Bloodstone or Goldeneye if your really in the mood for a Bond game.

And RIP Eurocom. May Activision have mercy on whichever developer they force the Bond license upon next.

The Wii U version is apparently being sold early in some stores. Any chance anyone has some hands-on impressions of that version? I'm hoping it's improved somewhat.

Release date was Dec 7th in UK but I can't find it anywhere. US street date was supposed to be Dec 11th. Has anybody got it?

it was on shelves in the Target near me this weekend. I wonder if retailers just wont give a damn about wiiu street dates, or activision didnt.

I'm not going to pay $60 for it, and have the Wii goldeneye to play through still.

So I finished the game today and now I'm really angry. I can't believe shit like this still exists in 2012. Everything about legends design is just fundamentally broken and made to piss you off. The moonraker level is just filled with constant instant fail moments that put you back on that loading screen and you just get angrier and angrier. And once the game just ends with Bond dying because you don't actually get to escape the space station your dropped right in the skyfall dlc. And when you see those cardboard civilians slide out of the way during the worst on rails motorcycle chase, you just laugh because you can't believe it's real. I paid money for this. Real money to Activision and they screwed me as a fan of something I love.

Are the loading screens as bad as Goldeneye Reloaded? Because I can see that being incredibly frustrating, and I thought Reloaded was quite good.

Eon is to blame too. I don't think they give a shit about the quality of the games, they just want royalty revenue and a game to be out along with their movies.

Having to be rushed to release near a movie can't be great for anything. Treyarch's Quantum of Solace game should have been shittier than it was, presumably being made by a B team and released a week before their CoD game, but they padded most of it with Casino Royale levels and the unbalanced multiplayer was fun regardless.

Got this game for the WiiU and just beat the Goldfinger part. It's really not that bad. It's uninspired but there is nothing offensively bad about it. The graphics are dated and the aiming seems a little slippery.

There is a ton of single player content in the form of things to collect and challenges.

Even though I've only played once section I do like it and would give it a 6.5 out of 10. Wouldn't recommend it at full price obviously.

Is anyone else finding it decent?

This game isn't bad. My god how ridiculous the reviews are. CoD gets great ratings across the board and this is like a 3/10? Seriously? Am I the only one who is really enjoying this? I'm not a hardcore Bond fanatic and I gave up on CoD after MW2. I don't understand all the hate. I think it's pretty fun.

The Wii-U version has been out for a week now, any more impressions of it compared to its 360/PS3 counterpart? Performance, stability, game-pad functionality?

The guess the one good thing is that Skyfall DLC is already on-disc and part of the game already.

Sorry to bump but can someone tell me what films it makes levels of? Have yet to see every Bond film so just curious.

Have seen these are the films depicted in the game:

Moonraker
On Her Majesty’s Secret Service
Die Another Day
License to Kill
Goldfinger
Skyfall

Are there more?

Nope, I believe that's it.

Was tempted to write a LTTP but nah, anyway I picked the game for cheap and it has been a solid experience so far, I haven't steped with AI doing dumb things neither graphical glitches, the game is pretty standart though, it doesn't have the ambitiousness of Goldeneye, but in general it works, nothing to be wowed, it certeanly carries the Wii engine into the HD territory, one of the things I really liked though was the OST it's pretty good. I think it's a solid fps for Wii U users, after all we don't many titles to choose for,
