007: Rogue Agent and other FPS

How about 007:Rogue Agent?
Is this game worth getting for a reduced price? I'm not looking for state of the art multiplayer, as I game single player only, and don't use online. I probably will put my money elsewhere, maybe into Doom 3.....

What are the best FPS for single players? Is Timesplitters 3 good for single player. How about Unreal Championship 2?

I kinda want a game that will allow me to play with all bots in the multiplayer modes + myself, as the last game I had that did that was Unreal Tournament for DC and 007 for N64. I want something that is fun as a single player. I already have Halo 2 and that is it.

Why don't you get Halo instead of Rogue Agent?

I'd also recommend XIII from Ubisoft. If you don't dislike cell shaded graphics, of course.

007: Rouge Agent's single-player isn't that great. I'm not sure it's worth the money. However, 007: Nightfire has a very fun single-player mode. I recommend it.

TimeSplitters: Perfect Future's single-player mode is short but sweet. Plus, there are tons and tons of mini-games to keep you entertained for hours. But it's at full price now.

Target has TimeSpitters 2 for $9.99 in their greatest hits section. Check that out as well -- great game for $10.

Hmmm... well I was wondering what Timesplitters had in it, and happy to hear bout that.
I've never played a Timesplitters game..
I also tried Red Faction a long time ago and didn't like it cause the camera made me sick...

I already had Halo along time ago....

Timesplitters a better buy then Doom 3 at this point? Or waiting to get Unreal Championship 2?

I'm not sure how to compare Doom 3 to Timesplitters 3.

Doom 3 has AMAZING graphics and I have to say that they nailed the atmosphere. It's sort of like a horror/fps with a lot of dark corridors. It's very polished. Plus if you get the CE you can get the original two games. Co-op is pretty fun, but I think it's system link only offline, I'm not sure. If you have LIVE there's that to consider along with some DM modes.

Timesplitters 3 is very lighthearted. It doesn't have the same polish and it moves very very fast (just in case that bugs you). But it's pretty funny at times, it has some outstanding content and options and it can't be beat for game modes. If you have LIVE not only can you play a ton of different matches online, you can download or upload custom maps which is a timesuck all it's own. Plus, it has bots. And monkeys.

Is Timesplitters 3 the only game out that has bots right now what a 1P can utilize in the multiplayer modes?

How is the weapon selection on Timesplitters 3 (I saw there is 150 character skins and that sounds cool). Do the guys that made the original Goldeneye still make it?

Weapon selection is solid -- a nice variety with each weapon having it's own feel to it. You won't get bored.

As far as the developers, it is the same GE team, but it's hard to say how many of them are left now. TimeSplitters 2 definitely felt like a GE game (if that makes sense). TimeSplitters: PF feels more evolved than TS2, but not so GE'ish. Maybe a Halo-GE mix?

Oh yeah, and it has monkeys!
