WTF? No HHH vs. HBK Final. :(

Yeah, that fucks me up too. The only other possibility would be RVD vs. HHH for the final, making one of the worst matches of the year--they're polar opposites, and just not compatible at all.

"Now that's just in poor taste."

Taz and Michael Cole have a radio show on Howard Stern's channel. It was NO ads for it at all and I think it's just a 4 day deal. They'll be on Sunday too. It's strange to hear Cole and Taz talk about other shit.

Tournament bracket for the WM title shot against Cena...

I'm predicting:
Carlito vs. Masters, Masters wins.
HBK vs. HHH, HHH wins after a screwjob.

HHH vs. Masters HHH wins.

Of course RVD gets screwed in the first round to hype his feud with Carlito, and of course, taking the guy who is the most over with the fans out of the running for the title yet again.

And I guess they are going to hype Edge v. Cena for Saturday Night's Main Event.

However, I think the Big Show will win because Michaels will get screwed over yet again. This leads to the conclusion of the Big Show/HHH feud. (which has been handled pretty well for WWE)

Looks like we are in for another boring tournament/qualifying edition of RAW this Monday. Hopefully we get some good wrestling out of this.

From the ROHwrestling.com boards.....

There has been a disgreement in business arrangements between Low Ki and ROH management. Low Ki has canceled all his ROH bookings as stated in a headline at Low-Ki.com.

We will announce new matches for the ones that Ki has already been advertised in next week.

This will mark the end of Low Ki in ROH. We are sorry things turned out this way and apologize to the ROH fans for the lineup changes.

Well my interest ROH just dropped by about 50%. :(

Think it may have anything to do with Ki possibly going back to TNA and having to have, at the least, reduced bookings?

But as it looks Ki seems to burn bridges wherever he goes...shame too.

I really hope this mean Ki is going back to TNA, I would love to see his stuff regularly again. Joe Vs Ki would be nice to see again although they already did it a hell of a lot of times in ROH.

Fuck it just let him kick Jarret and I would be happy :D

I hope thats it. Cause he doesnt really wrestle for any of the other big name Indys and I dont wanna have to DL a bunch of Noah shows. Plus puro Low Ki just isnt as cool.

Oh and thanx for that video Nameless. nothing like some good old CM Punk to lift a guys "spirits".

Mr Gump I tried uploading some newer Low Ki stuff on youtube but they took it down because it was "inapropriate content" yet there are plenty of other ROH videos on the site.

Unrelated note, WWE announced the 2006 DVD lineup...

WWE has announced a list of upcoming DVDs to look for on store shelves in the coming months. In addition to the upcoming pay-per-view DVDs, the list includes:

* Austin vs. McMahon: The Definitive Collection
* Brian Pillman: Loose Cannon
* Hulk Hogan: The Ultimate Anthology
* Born to Controversy: The Roddy Piper Story
* The Spectacular Legacy of the AWA
* John Cena: The Time is Now
* The World's Greatest Wrestling Managers
* The American Dream: The Dusty Rhodes Story (2-disc)

The Hogan and AvM ones look to be must-buys.

The Hogan's and Dusty's must buys The Greatest Managers DVD should be interesting too. John Cena's DVD is a must download to relive his heel-thuganomics days.

IMO it’s the only way to continue current storylines

RVD over Carlito
Masters of Kane
HHH over Flair
I'm thinking HBK over Show but the Mcmahons will screw HBK in the Show or Triple H match

Either way...HHH and RVD in the finals.

I dunno, Greatest Managers could go either way...Jim Cornette could probably make an entire DVD by himself, though. :lol

Hopefully they'll do both WCW and WWF

-Heenan
-Cornette
-Teddy Long
-Slick
-JJ Dillon
-Alexandria York/Marlena
-Sonny Onno
-Jimmy Hart
-Paul Elering
-Mr. Fugi!!!!!!!
-Paul Bearer
-Ted Dibiase
-Paul E. Dangerously/Paul Heyman
-Brother Love

This could be a great great DVD if done right. But considering this is the WWE we're talking about it just as easily could be chessy beyond words.

That DVD sucked. It just covered a few fueds. Not enough raps.

Looking at that DVD list I see a few must buys for sure.

* Austin vs. McMahon: The Definitive Collection
* Brian Pillman: Loose Cannon
* Hulk Hogan: The Ultimate Anthology
* Born to Controversy: The Roddy Piper Story
* The Spectacular Legacy of the AWA
* The American Dream: The Dusty Rhodes Story (2-disc)

Damn..might as well say the whole damn list.

WWE, damn you and your superior DVD making skills!

ECW One Night Stand 2 confirmed

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Yup

-- It’s still unknown where the next ECW PPV will be held, however you can be almost sure that it won’t be at the old ECW Arena.

-- WWE has contacted Terry Funk about appearing at the next ECW One Night Stand event. They have contacted him very early, and it’s likely to lock these guys in before the Hardcore Homecoming show gets them.

-- It’s likely that the PPV will be built around RVD.

-- Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko are pushing for a match against each other at the next ECW PPV. Malenko hasn’t wrestled in about four years now, however they want to face each other and do a Eddie Guerrero memorial match.

w00t @ another ECW pay-per-view. Paul E. better be involved.

I'd love to see RVD wrestle Jerry Lynn again. but that won't happen with Lynn being involved with TNA.

Benoit v. Malenko would just be too awesome.

Rey and Psicosis can go ahead and make up for last year's crappy match. Crappy by their standards at least. It might have been the worst match on the card last year... either that or Eddie's crappy effort against Benoit. Eddie seemed like he didn't want to be there. Anyway, put the 619 in the closet, please, Rey-Rey!

I wonder if Cactus Jack would consider wrestling?

Tanaka v. Awesome again, please!

Would Raven show up? I know he lost that loser-leaves-TNA match, but I don't know if he's actually gone from TNA. I wonder if WWE burned a bridge with their brutal misuse of him.

Lance? :) Please?

Would Jericho consider it?

Now... those DVD's! w00t w00t.

* Austin vs. McMahon: The Definitive Collection

Might skip this, I don't know... I already have their cage match on tape and have the Austin v. McMahon tape.

* Brian Pillman: Loose Cannon

I'll want this, just because I'm curious to see how they cover it. Have his match on Raw with Austin, please.

* Hulk Hogan: The Ultimate Anthology

Is this necessary after the Hulk Rules! DVD from a few years ago? Not that I'm complaining, I'll want it. How much of it will be retreaded? Put the WCW match with Hulk and Warrior on it as a joke!

* Born to Controversy: The Roddy Piper Story

Hell yes.

* The Spectacular Legacy of the AWA

Cool. I've seen very little AWA. I'd like to know more about it.

* John Cena: The Time is Now

Fuck this.

* The World's Greatest Wrestling Managers

Probably not.

* The American Dream: The Dusty Rhodes Story (2-disc)

w00t

...

What are you willing to bet that John Cena will for some reason appear on the Piper and Rhodes DVDs with absolutely nothing insightful to say, other than "I was a really big fan of this guy!" I got the Superstar Billy Graham DVD today and he's on the feature giving "insight" about when Graham sued the WWF. He said "that was a really unfortunate thing for Vince and the company to go through" like he was somehow affected by the whole thing.

Christian was on there too for some reason, but he gets a free pass ;)

wow, the spirit squad is awesome.. i had been liking their recent appearances as well as their doing the "spirit" really well with leg kicks and stuff, as well as the enormous amount of boos they get...

but this clip was hilarious; they all seem to have a pretty good sense of humor and play up the stuff really well.. but how are they going to have 5 people matches?? eventual 5 vs 5 match? does 1 or 2 of tehse guys splinter off eventually??

IF and when they begin to appear on Raw in a regular wrestling capacity I don't think all of them would wrestle.

Ken Doane(former OVW TV champ, only 19 and has impressed WWE management), Johnny Jeter(former OVW champ) and POSSIBLY Mike Mondo(been on Velocity a few times) would probably be the only guys wrestling..With remaining members serving as valet/manergerial roles.

Actually one of the other two, Nick Nemeth, has been wrestling a couple of times on Sunday Night Heat along with Kerwin White. They just scrapped his enforcer/bodyguard gimmick since Chavo came back as, well, Chavo. He did some matches with Tajiri in a European Tour after that.

Nick Mitchell was part of Tough Enough 4, and went to Deep South Wrestling afterwards and then sent to OVW to be the final member of the Spirit Squad. He might be the only one who might not wrestle for a while since I think he still has a knee injury.

I'm really starting to love the Spirit Squad.

I love the recent appearances of old-school 80s-type gimmicks in the WWE.

Good to see that I'm not the only one :lol

I could see the team rising and get pushed, and then finally break up down the road as single and tag-team wrestlers.
