If they seriously do Edge vs. Jericho for the title at WM... why? Those two don't need the title at all to have that match since there's already enough history there to make it interesting. I guess they figure that it would be the easiest way to turn Edge into a face if they threw the title in there as well.

They need to do Edge vs Jericho for the title because I'm tired of seeing Orton, Tripleh, and Cena be the damn main event.

Hey, I just thought of something. Kane needs a snorefest match for Mania. Its not a Wrestlemania unless Kane is stinking the joint up for his PPV bonus.

Assuming the WWE isn't dumb enough to go Sheamus-HHH for the WWE title as its main event, I predict Kane-Sheamus squash snorefest.

His voice almost put me to sleep.

That was true for quite a while, back when the X Division was given some respect, and at the same time we were getting frequent episodes of RAW that seemed to have more backstage segments than matches. Thank goodness there's more wrestling these days at WWE, but *weep* at the last year or so of TNA, which has felt a lot more Russo. :`(

Pretty good PPV. Only a couple bad matches in the middle, but the first few were entertaining, and the Rumble itself was fun -- if a little predictable at times -- to watch. :)

I always cringe when I hear those type of callers. Creepers

Meltzer just confirmed that TNA moving to Mondays permanently starting on March 1st is a done deal.

Edit: Beaten.

3 Hour RAWs? That would be fucking painful.

However..if this means they would cut off a few lesser-echelon PPVs, I would absolutely be all for it.

You can justr tell Dave and the rest of the guys on LAW are just waiting to shit on TNA.....but don't have the story needed to pounce.

i kinda feel bad for Hogan and Eric. It's like people are wanting them to fail at this point.

Did you just insult Kane? How dare you!!!!

Seriously, though, the guy has shown great improvement in his matches, and he's been solid now for more than a year. Considering the fact that his last two solo matches at WM were against Chavo (in a 8 second squash), and Khali, I think you should give him a break. Over his WM career, though, he's had great matches against Undertaker, HHH, and Angle.

3rd match would have been better given more time. These two are awesome together.

Hulu does not work outside America..

Thats been going on since way before they got to TNA, both products are shit with occasional good moments but TNA seems to catch more shit when they have their smh moments. Just listening to Dave and the DJ go on about the Rumble the one thing that kept popping in my head was "lowered expectations". I mean this is what passes off as good? The only good things were Punk at the beginning and Edge, and then HHH ruined the Punk thing (common theme with both feds, you start seeing something good and then they fuck it up).

I thought this was a great rumble, that could hold up compared to any previous year.

I think people are just way to damn cynical and smakish. i mean, for example the CM punk thing.....he wasn't going to win. That was obvious the second the chick came out with him. Did people honestly think CM punk was going to singlehandedly beat every guy in the rumble, cutting a promo after every guy? of course it would eventually end and it makes sense that HHH did it considering they had a great match on Friday.

I don't think it's really lowered expectations. It's just a rush to hate on stuff.

I thought most people here enjoyed the Rumble?
Or am I mistaken?

I'm speaking more smarky fans as a whole. the type of people who call into shows like the LAW and rage.

Most forums I have seen are still complaining about punk not winning.

His matches may have improved but that still doesn't make him anything more than a jobber.

I thought it was a good Rumble. Main event for RAW was an absolute trash of a match, but Mickie winning for revenge, Taker/Rey was surprisingly well, Miz/MVP pushed their feud further, and the Rumble itself with Punk's promos was solid. Triple H dogged some of it down by eliminating a lot of the young talent like Punk and McIntyre. Michaels did his own like that, but I felt him winning wasn't as bad. Hopeful that Jericho can win at NWO to capture the gold.

He's still been in every Wrestlemania since 14. Can anyone else say that? He's stunk up other PPV's just for the bonus check too. Its especially annoying now since they did away with single brand PPV's.

Oh and I still say Edge should have won by default because the last two guys eliminated themselves. Works perfectly with the "ultimate opportunist" character.

I still think Punk/Gallows should have the tag titles.

DX have done jack shit with them. They spend months building up the title with Jerishow like it actually matters, then they just forget about it as soon as DX have it.

Wait what? EDGE is back?

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While that may be true, they would not be going to Monday nights without him being there.

That's a super classy move. Make the WWE HOF more of an all around wrestling HOF.

Is Hansen in? If not, he damn well should be.

You act like Kane has a say on what shows he's booked on.

I genuinely haven't noticed any major shift in the wrestling to segments ratio. In fact, we've ended up getting some tremendous matches on free TV.

But what's that? Hogan's behind it? Well then - it must be shit.

We've gotten LESS match time per episode of Impact since Hogan has kicked in.

The focus has been shifted away from the true talent of TNA to Hogan's coattail-riding douchebag buddies.

Seriously.. segment time wasted on the fucking NASTY BOYZ?!?
Orlando "No one knows who the fuck I am" Jordan?
Sean "Stuck in 1997" Morley?
Scot Hall and Waltman?

There was more time used on the Foley and Bischoff bullshit than there was match time!

SEVENTEEN MINUTES on a 2 hour show.

Yeah, Khali-Kane snorefest was totally picked over something worth watching without any backstage manovering on Kanes part.

wow... making some real big logic jumps there.

Vince has and will always have a big hard on for HUGE guys. It was Vince's call, just like any other match on the card.

Besides, Kane has a reputation as being on of the easiest going guys in the locker room. He's a soldier, he does whatever is asked of him. He's just happy to be doing it still. He doesn't want the belt, he likes putting guys over and giving the rub to them to help them out.

He's probably one of the few who "gets it".

Kane is a company man.
He's been with them for almost 2 decades, as far as I know since becoming the Kane character, he has never really had any serious injuries, has never injured anyone, and is always willing to do the job.

I've never heard of him having an ego or positioning, the dude was a champ ONCE for 24 hours, if he does have power, he doesn't know how to wield it.
