I really thought this was a screenshot from some future episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Sweet lawd.

you remind me of a dude who posted on ign. But I don't think it's you lol. So similar with the tastes and capitalization and shit though. Internet doppelganger.

Will see

0 Dark 30 (because dat Hurt Locker)

The Last Stand (because Ahnold, fuck yeah)

Hansel and Gretel (because Gretel boobs)

The last 2 years have been better for action movies than the entirety of the 00s.

I'll go for Django, John Dies At The End, The Last Stand, High Tech Low Life, and I might check out the Up series.

Who am I kidding, I don't have the money to see jack shit.

I might watch Zero Dark Thirty when it goes into wide release. Gangster Squad will probably be a mess but I'm somewhat curious and there aren't a lot of other movies currently in theatres that I want to see. I might go see John Dies at the End if it comes to a theatre in my area since I used to read Cracked regularly (and still sometimes do) so I've heard a lot about it.

Oh January, you beloved film wasteland. Probably absolutely nothing, but maybe Gangster Squad depending on reviews.

Sorry for the repost, but I guess this might be a better thread to ask!

So as a new Utahn I get access to purchase some Sundance movie passes this year:

Anyone have any recommendations?

I was thinking of ACOD, Prince Avalanche, and The Way, Way Back. Possibly Before Midnight but I'd have to get my wife to watch Before Sunrise and Before Sunset, which are great anyways, but she is more into comedies.

No thanks on the jOBS.

Was also thinking maybe Mud since I like Shotgun Stories and Take Shelter, but am afraid it doesn't have Michael Shannon ;) edit: As pointed out by brianjones I am an idiot, he's in there :)

Lots I'm interested in...what I'll see and when will depend on impressions and reviews.

The Last Stand
Broken City
Parker
Gangster Squad
Zero Dark Thirty
Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters

Could be a damn fine month...or a disappointing one.

Why wouldn't it? Put it in as a deleted scene.

It would be like going in and editing out the inglorious basterds scene, it's stupid. Have some fucking artistic integrity, stand by your work.

With how closely associated Warner Bros. is with the Aurora massacre, I just don't see it happening on their end.

saw Gangster Squad last night and wasn't too impressed by it. Basically it's The Untouchables but less good.
