Just got back from seeing Indie Game, my uni screened it. As someone who has long followed those games, it was really nice to get the human aspect behind them in a way internet conversation can't provide (and Phil Fish was way cooler than some of the controversy around him had me imagining). More impressively imo though, my friend who doesn't play games also really liked it, and moreso was intrigued by the games. Just a fantastic set of stories and thoughtful individuals, put together in a very competent way. My only complaint would be the way the film tended to glorify the "BLEW ME AWAY -Ign" type quotes games journalism spews out, but that's a minor note.
