I've been looking forward to Looper for ages, I can't wait for that. But The Master has been completely off my radar. For some reason I had no idea that existed, that's an instant-watch for me (anything PTA does is now). Also going to see Raiders of the Lost Ark this weekend, which should be sweet.

Resident Evil: Retribution

Expendable, tell me you can see the genius in this series? Why aren't you recommending it? Probably the most self-aware action series of our generation.

Just watched Brick which is a fantastic movie so I might have to see Looper. Otherwise no plans on seeing anything else.

I really want to watch The Master, but I don't know when it is going to come out here. Paul Thomas Anderson is one of the best directors today. His last work was excellent so I don't want to miss his new one.

I got to see Beasts of the Southern Wild the other week. Didn't like it at all. I thought the camera was sloppy and the script was weak.

What a disappointing summer .

Subscribing. Great list, will watch something.
Mainly Dredd, Looper, The Master and maybe that Wallflower and more.

Absolutely pathetic part deux
Dredd
The Master (on 70mm)
Looper
and probably a lot more since I have been on a streak of seeing at least 3 new films in theaters every week. Today I am going to see Compliance and Robot and Frank.

are there any reviews yet? i saw the trailer before anna karenina and thought it looked really good, but don't want to search out reviews for fear of having the movie spoiled.

We loved it at the Cannes premiere. But it's by a dude who made one of the best films of all-time in his last outing. Can't go wrong.

is that your site? that's a very good review and it's managed to get me even more excited. many thanks for linking to it.

Yes, it is. Created and run by yours truly.

Saw a sneak of The Words last Thursday. If that is in your top ten, September is going to suck.

I thought it was decent, but that's all. I didn't get the critical lashing of it though, got worse reviews than a Michael Bay film.
