12h Skyrim Marathron on Giant Bomb 11.10.11 (hosted by Greg Kasavin)

I just bailed on the stream. I didn't want to see a second after the "Bethesda Presents..." in the beginning.

I never played an Elder Scrolls before and I AM NOW SOLD ON THIS GAME.

I can't watch this. Maybe in like an hour or two just to see some random action, but I don't know how anyone could watch the intro to this before playing it themselves.

i would watch it, but just spoiling the opening even though our paths through the game would no doubt diverge is something I just can't do. Can't help but think they should have done this after the game has released, not before.

wow this looks a huge step up from oblivion, so glad I'm a premium member so I can watch this later and in bits so I don't spoil myself.

why is the OP not updated with link!!!!

and don't say because it is on the front page? Just extra google work.

Would be crazy if the texture glitch starts halfway through the marathon or something. I would freak out because there is no way of knowing how prevalent it is.

I was planning to wait for the eventual GOTY edition before picking this up, but watching Greg playing is making me question if I can wait that long.

Never really got caught up in the Skyrim hype pre-launch but now I really want to play this, even though all he's done so far is go through the opening of the game. I'm like many people, I want to keep watching, but I also don't want to spoil it for myself... maybe I'll just listen to the audio or something.

Watched him in Oblivion 5 years ago.

Interested to see his thoughts have changed after designing a game, or if they even changed at all.

Video quality is very crappy even in HD. After seeing all the great reviews and some of the gameplay I now regret canceling my order but hopefully I find some great deal on black Friday. I hated Oblivion and made all those post in the official thread dissuade me.

If he doesn't pick a lizard wizard I'm gonna cry.

edit - orc second best, I will live with that.

Pretty sure he played an Orc Barbarian in the Oblivion Live cast years ago as well.

I'm surprised there are that many viewers. It's a lot more than GB live stuff usually gets, even though that is of course not nearly as well promoted as Greg's marathon.
