1990's Cartoon Survivor (Do-Over)

I'm ok going for the quick kill on DBZ and Tiny Toons, DBZ is one of the bad manga adaptations. It caught up to the manga storyline too fast that the anime has to be bloated and characters spent hours on monologue and grunting for power. Popular but honestly poorly executed. Tiny Toons was right there next to Freakazoid as the lower tiered Warner Bros cartoon.

edit: Someone PMed me asking for me to kill Superman instead of DBZ. To honor his wish, I'm saving Superman, because of lolz.

I'm willing to let Darkwing Duck go, I was a proponent for both it and Reboot, but I never expected either to get to the top ten. DBZ was great at the time and had a lot of influence but it doesn't hold up at all. Too much filler, the pace was horrible I doubt anyone would watch it all the way through any more unless it's some abridged version.

Tiny Toons was just great. I might be the only one that thinks it's a top ten contender, but I'll try to save it until it goes.

Should make it to top ten. It was fun show that is fit for both young children and young adults. Powerpuff Girls meets the Beatles video posted here was one example of it's "hidden" charms.

Reboot is part of my childhood. If this was 80s toons it would be even harder still.

This is a lot of these shows and some of the shows that have been ousted. Courage and Spongebob I feel are very similar(around the same timeframe) and were both better.

Just my opinion I guess. I'll probably be voting for it next. Nothing else I can see wanting to go before it after DBZ and Darkwing Duck.

90s DBZ had fan favorite Ocean dub, but the show was so heavily censored and had dialog errors directly contradicting canon. I don't see how people can continue to support such an incomplete and messed up show in this competition.

Gargoyles was boring.

It's not your fault others campaigned against shows you liked to keep their favorite shows alive. Shows like hey Arnold that no doubt had some decent episodes, but it was littered with boredom. Or shows like Superman that are similar to Batman, but not as good. So not as good that I found it hard to watch at the time. All those shows you loved were just a casualty masking others fears. Courage was great and all my friends enjoy watching it along with powerpuff girls and dexter's lab.
 
Hahaha, the Reboot/Courage mutually-assured-destruction really does feel cathartic!

I was wondering what Jado's angle was. His PMs didn't always make sense. I was only ever playing on one team: my team.
Well, if he helped out Reboot, I can't blame him! And he helped knock out Spongebob, so props for that. If people have regret over killing X-men prematurely, perhaps they shouldn't have voted to kill it!

I don't know why Superman keeps getting the target instead of Batman Beyond, but I can jump on that boat anyway. Too many superheroes on this list.

DBZ was a key feature of grade 7/8 life. (That's 1997/8 btw)
If things start looking up for Darkwing, I might change my save to it. The Disney shows collectively deserved better than getting voted out now, particularly before Tiny Toons.
 
So happy that reboot has meet its end. Being like that was not artistic decission, it looked like trash.

Compared to the rest of the list, Hey! Arnold played it way too safe.

DBZ had a huge cultural impact on kids even to this date (certainly more than Hey! Arnold did). It's not going to be the lone survivor, but I don't think it's worth killing yet.
 
Seriously people, DBZ was not that highly regarded as anime. It doesn't need your sympathy. It rarely won any awards during its run in Japan.

Then you have horrible English dub on top of that.
 
I'm fucking upset that Reboot got killed, should have came to vote. Now at least I can stay to see Batman take the number one spot.

DBZ has lots of filler, that is for certain. It's the biggest downside of the original run. However, when you look at the characters and storyline, DBZ has more to offer than Superman. Goku, considered low-class in his home world, managed to become the most powerful being in the universe. Unline Superman, he had to work hard for it, driven to protect his home and become stronger. Goku is a good two-shoes like Superman, but does it because of his own moral beliefs, not adherent to the law. Superman on multiple occasions has been inclined to deviate. Unlike Superman he's not smug about his powers, he works to prove himself. Goku sacrificed himself on multiple occasions to protect others around him when outmatched, unlike Superman who cannot die except for a super specific method that will more likely weaken than kill.

Superman is another extension of the DCAU while DBZ is unique. To put Superman before DBZ is a misstep.

took me a while as kid to realize how mind-numbing dull Dragonball Z is, whereas Tiny Toons remains awesome to this day and I actually prefer it to Animaniacs

I rewatched the series on Disney's YouTube channel. It was awesome. The City of Stone four-parter can't be touched.

I didn't take the post seriously, but I didn't know for sure it was a quote.
And my vote was only to see the reaction, didn't expect one quite so hostile.
I was gonna originally vote for Gargoyles since I already knew that The Simpson's is untouchable till it's down to the top 3 or 4, that just seemed more interesting.

But seriously, Gargoyles I liked, but it was kinda boring, so serious all the time. Football head can take a hike too.

And like I said before if I thought I could rally some troops to kill off the Simpson's earlier, I would have, but mostly because it's gonna be real hard to get rid of later when there are only a few other choices to consider.
