1UP Exclusive - Need For Speed: Most Wanted

I believe that the press release confirmed it for an unspecified "next generation console." Which really couldn't be anything other than 360.

That's not implying these are 360 shots is it? The textures are absolutely atrocious.

Doubt it, but then again EA did release Xbox 360 screens of The Godfather initially.

Right now, all next generation games are sort of in this limbo of "looking-better-than-current-gen-systems-but-not-as-good-as-you-think-they-should-look-so-there's-doubt-whether-it's-truly-next-gen" but yeah, it's unconfirmed, and it may change (who knows!), but if games are designated "next-gen" and look better than your best Xbox games, there's a very good chance they're probably Xbox 360 or PS3 titles.

After E3, everything will be definitive. Or more definitive, I hope.

These pics do look a lot like the pics in the new issue of OPM, so it makes sense they'd be PS2 screens.

Yeah this is what I'm worried about from most multiplatform games.

Actually, I already think I have a good idea of how Xbox 360 multiplatform games will look compared to Xbox games. Multiplatform ones. It'll be like comparing Xbox games to PC games. They look similar, but PC games look sharper due to higher resolution texturing and higher resolution handling from the monitor.
