What if Florida goes down to the wire Iowa style...

Also no one is paying attention to Missouri/Illinois? If Cruz pulls an upset somewhere its disastrous for Trump.

After he loses Florida, he will be embarrassed, and have no path at all to the White House.

Even in a brokered convention hail mary, they wouldn't want to pick the guy who couldn't even win his home state. The only candidate to not do so. Bad luck for him, his home state is also a swing state, and an important one.

His political career took heavy damage from this run. He's a broken man, and staying in past today will just look sad and potentially harm what little career he has left.

I'll be curious to see how Rubio leverages a do-nothing Senate term and a failed presidential bid into a run for governor in 2018.

And by curious, I mean ready to laugh.

Voted for Hillary in NC last Saturday. I really like what Bernie says on some things but I want an operator, not an idealist, at the helm. Hillary is also much more likely to get fed up with GOP bullshit and go off the bipartisan happy train fast and with efficacy, which is where bammers has been operating effectively for years.

She's a tremendous consensus builder and I expect her to surround, isolate, and destroy the GOP in detail over the next eight years.

Well said. I voted for her in MO today.

No it's not disastrous, since he won't be winning the 2 big states (Florida and Ohio).

Cruz is favored in most markets in Missouri so that wouldn't be an upset.

He is? Well shit.

It doesn't matter how many delegates Cruz wins. He has basically no path to 1237. It's all about how many delegates Trump fails to win. The way I see it, anything fewer than 4 states is a bad night for Trump.

At this point in the Republican race it's not about just winning, it's where you win. Winner take all states are more important than the proportional states like Missouri. Cruz pulling out a 5% win over Trump in Missouri means little if Trump wins Florida.

I just got back from bringing a couple friendsand family members to vote. My precinct of 2600 has about 700 votes, all tallied, now.

Polls close in 2 hours.

Fair criticism of Bernie. I love the dude, but he doesn't compromise or work with opposition so he might just be an executive order machine as president.

He works pretty well across the isle if he feels he can push through some of his agenda. There is certainly issues which I believe he wouldn't compromise on - these are some of the issues I like about him.

But I thought once you're in Ohio, youre stuck in Ohio? :(

No, they just tell you that so the rest of the state doesn't look like Cleveland. Or Youngstown. Or Jackson, Portsmouth, Wilmington...

Source: My mother's family is from Youngstown. Its state of decay is why she is not voting for Kasich now that she's in Florida.

This is so true.

That works fine for minor amendments to bills that might die anyway. Not when he's saying "single payer!" and ever Republican says "nope" in response. What's his 2nd offer? Guess what, they're going to say no to that.

Well, to be fair, the second offer was a watered down ACA that, while helping people, and coming in under budget, is also leaving a lot of people stranded, and cost of health insurance hasn't exactly dropped. It was Democrats who excised the public option, not Republicans. After all that, how many Republicans voted for it? Zero.

Voted for the bern! We are so screwed if we ever have 100% voter turn out. State has early voting, and I went mid afternoon..still had 45 minute wait.

Rubio HQ evacuated due to "powdery substance" in mail.

From CNN’s Dana Bash: Rubio HQ evacuated

The Rubio campaign headquarters in Washington, D.C., was evacuated after a powdery substance was found in a piece of mail addressed to the campaign.

A hazmat team came and evacuated the HQ and sent campaign workers to the roof of the building.

Hope they don't jump off the roof once we get the first results from Florida :S

The final countdown!

This may be it for Bernie IMHO :(

It seems to me he exceeded most peoples expectations besides crazy true believers... I wonder if he could of done anything differently or is Hilldawg just too formidable.

Although am I crazy or did he say he was going to stay in until the end? (even if it is technically over)

My friend voted for Trump. He's an ardent democrat though, and crossed over just "to watch the Republicans deal with that shit." I have to wonder how many other people out there are doing the same.

It's definitely worth remembering that a lot of people who got "stranded" were stranded by a combination of the Supreme Court and their state governor. The law wasn't designed to leave a Medicare hole.

I doubt high enough of a percentage to matter.

I voted today in Bloomington-Normal Illinois, and there are Bernie signs fucking everywhere. Since it's an incredibly nice day outside I'm driving around town, and I've seen more Bernie than any other candidate. Oddly enough I've actually seen a bit more Cruz than Trump.

The really bizarre thing is I haven't seen ANYTHING for Hillary. Not even a bumper sticker. I haven't even gone near the ISU campus as I'm sure it's Bernie City over there too. I still think it'll be close in Illinois, but I think Bernie will take it, but Hillary will make any gain here moot once she stomps him in Florida and NC.

My grandfather did that. I told him I don't think it really helped, but he got some crazy idea in his head lol
