FTFY. Those weren't E3 leaks. The Smash leaks were for a separate direct. Not the E3 direct.

Fallout 4 was officially announced. It didn't get leaked.

Retro teased their presence. The other ones in that one bullet were are there because of teases.

3 leaks. 3! leaks. Less than we've ever had before and you guys are making it out to be the apocalypse.

Just Dance 2016 as well!

Yeah I fully agree with you though. I'm personally really impressed with how tight the E3 ship has been this year.

I believe there's a Smash Direct scheduled for tomorrow in which those fighters were going to be revealed. Definitely a leak (well, confirmation of a months-old rumor), but I'm not sure it's qualified for an E3 leak.

...Unless the Smash Direct focused on Lucas and patch notes then hinted for people to watch Nintendo's E3 Direct for a big surprise. Considering Smash 4's biggest surprises have pretty much all leaked ahead of time, Sakurai must feel pretty shaken.

Not trying to be "that guy" by arguing or anything-- just thought it was awkward timing on Nintendo's part (and many would argue that the Smash stuff is purposely occurring around E3).

At any rate, the OP's point has been refuted to a hilarious degree. It certainly seems true that each year we're getting more and more pre-E3 announcements from companies striving for better exposure in a crowded media frenzy, but it also feels as if the leaks have hit harder and more consistently than I can remember (maybe not all megatons, but leaks nonetheless). It's bound to continue right up through showtime, too, like it or not.

If the biggest announcement from Nintendo's E3 digital event was going to be Ryu and Roy I would be heavily, heavily disappointed.

This leak didn't ruin the Nintendo Digital Event, not even in the slightest. It ruined the, probably, biggest surprise of the dedicated Smash Pre-E3 presentation tomorrow though.

Me too. Didn't mean to imply that it was a huge announcement-- just big Smash news.

I would prefer not to have any Smash DLC in the E3 broadcast at all, save for some big expansion or MK8 "season pass" type of thing. The Sunday Direct is perfect for that, though I just rationalized what could have been the intent. I know nothing, of course.

Most games these days are indies. Indies announce their game hours after coming up with a name then spend the next 3-5 years at every game show displaying whatever pixes they make on screen. There is nothing to leak.

Have a rumor, not sure if leak yet..

Sounds like a classic Rareware game as a remake or remaster. I'd say it's a rumor worthy of its own thread if it's showing up as an SKU. Lots of people will be interested to read that who might not read this thread.

I never made full member status, likely because my (awesome) bish approved status makes it unclear what my rank is :)

Feel free to start a thread with other info you have. (Credit me, if you wish :p)

I'd love to, but I've been re-re-juniored. 😉 hopefully someone else will, though!
