Predictions for the series anyone?

Since my Rangers missed the playoffs this year (so close guys! really!), I'm gonna go randomly with Red Sox over the Braves in 6.

Cards > Padres in 3
Braves > Astros in 4

Angels > Yankees in 4
Red Sox > White Sox in 5

WS...

Angels > Cards in 6

edited - Because Matrix makes me look silly.

Cards vs Padres (Cards)
Braves vs Astros (Stros)

Angels vs Yankees (Anaheim Angels)
Red Sox vs White Sox (Red Sox)

Cards vs Stros (Cards)
Angels vs Red Sox (Soxs)

World Series Champs
Soxs in 7

Yea the above two posts make no sense.

Divison series is best of 5 not 6.

Cards over Padres
Astros over Atlanta
Yankees over Angels
Red Sox over Chi Sox

Cards over Astros
Yankees over Red Sox

Cards over Yankees in 7.... I hope.

<<<is still crying after the Tribe's massive choke to close out the season.

GOD DAMN IT INDIANS YOU HAD THIS THING!!!! YOU LET IT SLIP THROUGH YOUR HANDS (or bats since they couldn't clutch hit worth a shit) WHY DO YOU GUYS HATE MILLWOOD SO MUCH THAT YOU CAN'T HIT WHEN HE PITCHES!?!

Millwood had best ERA in the league.... yet had more losses than wins. WTF?

White Sox in 4
Yanks in 4
Astros in 5
Cards in 3

and my breakdown of the only series i care about:

Clement is starting game 1, and the Chi Sox have been hammering him since he was on the Cubs.

Chi Sox have better pitching and defense, Red Sox have the better hitting(obviously).

Boston is gonna score runs, that's a given. I think the key lies in Boston's starting pitching.
If the White Sox can get Boston's starters out of the game early, the Red Sox are in a TON of trouble.

White Sox pitching is good enough to hold Boston's offense to less than it's accustomed, it just depends how well we can hit their starters, since I don't see us having a problem with their bullpen.

I fully expect to take game 1 with Contreras going for us. Game 2 we're throwing Buehrle out there, and the Red Sox have owned him this year.
So I expect to go to Fenway tied 1-1. However, we are the very best road team in baseball(23 games over .500 on the road), so that with our ridiculously deep pitching(and lack of Boston's bullpen) makes me think we take 2 in Boston to take the series.

Oh, and Crazy Carl will get booed every single at bat in Boston.

I predict that the Red Sox remind Jose Contreras that he is a headcase, and manage to get 6 innings of decent pitching from Clement. The Red Sox take game one, but lose game two to Buerhle after David Wells gives up a few long balls. The Sox lose game three at the Fens, as they tend to struggle with guys like Garland (assuming Garland starts game 3). The Red Sox pull it together to take game four behind the Big Schill, who gets it done in the big game. Game five should be tight, but I have to give the loose Red Sox the edge in a pressure-packed game like this. Believe.

I'm curious to see who we throw out there after Garland. Garcia or McCarthy? I'm thinking it'll be a day game on the road, so it's gotta be Garcia.

Well, upon further research, each team is different :lol :lol
Chi Sox tickets go on sale Thursday, Astros tomorrow, Yankees are already on sale. That's a bit strange.

AFraud showing why he is the biggest douchebag in sports. Now he and the rest of the Yankees are crying at Buck Showalter because he pulled his starters in the game against the Angels (which, if the Rangers would have won, would have given the Yanks home field advantage).

Slappy McBluelips said:
"There's a code of honor when so much is on the line," Rodriguez told the New York Daily News. "You hope people do the right thing. But you can't control what people do."

Yeah, a code of honor, sort of like slapping the ball out of the pitchers hand when he goes to tag you out and pretending you never did it. Fuck off. If you wanted home field so badly, you shouldn't have mailed it in agains the Red Sox in yesterday's game.

:lol Exactly.

Cashman was the only honest one:

Yankees general manager Brian Cashman said told the New York Times that he didn't mind Showalter's decision, however.

"If we had won one more game, we wouldn't have to be worried about what anybody else did," Cashman told The Times.

(bolded ESPN's awful grammar)

Also Freddy Garcia is pitching game 3 for the Chi Sox....color me surprised. The power of day games on the road must compel him!....or let Wake's knuckler be dead.

Guillen announced Orlando "El Duque" Hernandez and Geoff Blum as the last additions to his 25-man roster during his Monday morning press conference at U.S. Cellular Field, with rookie right-hander Brandon McCarthy and left-handed hitting first baseman/outfielder Ross Gload passed over.

FUCK that

Jimmy Rollins:
"The Astros had our number this year, but I have no idea why because, if you look at their team, there's nothing special about it."

:lol fuck off Rollins, enjoy the offseason.

The Red Sox would like to thank Ozzie Guillen for leaving Brandon McCarthy off their ALDS roster. Rookies own the shit out of the BoSox lineup.

Yeah I saw that earlier, and I am verrrry happy about it. We'd also like to thank Ozzie for playing the last two games of teh season. They had no reason to, but they still did.

Sounds just like a player from Boston...I wanna say Millar: "You look at this White Sox lineup on paper and you just have to wonder how this team won blankety-blank games."

Douchebag. Maybe we shoulda tanked against Cleveland to try and keep you out of the play-offs.

Instead of talking trash about Houston, perhaps he should go beat the shit out of Wagner for blowing *TWO* games to us.

"Holy Toledo! What a right hook!"

Also, motherfuck the Chicago Tribune(Owners of the Cubs). The Sox are going to begin post-season baseball today and the front page of the Trib runs a story about how the area around The Cell has a high concentration of poverty.

Go fuck yourselves you Wrigleyville scum.
Or better yet, run a story about how your godly coach Dusty Baker and supergenius GM Jim "Matt Lawton will save our season!" Hendry could do no better than finish 4th in your shitty division.
