Em: At least you got through to get your tickets. :( I tried and I tried, nothing. :(

I, however, was going to sell my tickets. I can't stand a lot of the douchebag Yankee fans that go to these games. Went to about 12 games this season and I always had some dumb fuck sitting near me yelling retarded shit. Last game I went to last Thursday, there was this dude behind us who would only yell shit when the Yanks did something wrong. Dumb stuff like "WAY TO HIT A GROUND BALL!" :lol How can you be a fan with such goddamned negativity. :lol

HOLY FUCK I DID NOT KNOW THIS:

Whatever the process, the formula for the White Sox clinching the playoffs appeared to be as complicated as an unsolved equation from a collegiate Calculus class. But upon further review following Chicago's 8-2 shellacking of Detroit on Wednesday night at Comerica Park and Tampa Bay's 1-0 whitewash behind Seth McClung at Jacobs Field, the nuts and bolts of the matter now seem to be quite simple.

If the White Sox win Thursday afternoon with Freddy Garcia on the mound, they are the 2005 American League Central champions.

HOLY SHIT. LETS GO FREDDY

hahahaha, so true.
I went to a few games this season too; "fans" are fucking cutthroat. I went to one of those games where Jeter was the last out...people would essentially call for his head. Shit is serious in the boogie-down when the Yankees are playing - especially in the postseason. I don't want to get hit with a rogue battery or three. :lol

another two RBI triple for Everett. triples in back to back games for Carl :lol :lol

2-0. Freddy, come on. Road day game, YOURE UNSTOPPABLE

3-0 Sox :D :D :D
4-0 :D 40 homers for Paulie

3 hit game for Paulie!

Please Gods of Baseball...I'm 36 years old and have been a White Sox fan my whole life. Please...just once before I die...I want to see the White Sox win it all. Just once.

Please?

Damn you Magglio! Screwing us over again!

Rowan needs to learn play center. He's been misplaying too many hits lately.

The White Sox gave their fans hope too by coming back from 4-0 down to taka a 5-4 lead just to blow the game. The White Sox have been infected by the lovable loser Cubs curse! Woo hahahahah YOU CAN'T ESCAPE YOUR DESTINY.

Sucks for their fans (not that I really care that much) but I LOVE watching epic collapses in sports as long as it's not my team. Keep it up, White Sox! :lol

"The White Sox are doing better than anyone thought, thus our historical late season collapse should not worry anyone since we weren't predicted by the 'experts' to be in this position in the first place, am i rite?"

:lol

Anyone else just see that Kenny Williams interview? He's drunk.
"This has been my most challenging interview ever...been drinking for 2 hours now...."

And Jenks actually seems fine. Bizarro world?

Anybody think Stanton can get something done for the Red Sox?

Sure. Like Leiter can still get something done for the Yanks. He's not as shot as Leiter and doesn't need a strike zone the size of Uranus in order to get the ball over the plate but he isn't needed long term (and wouldn't be elgible for the playoffs anyway). 3 games, baby. This time of year, you look for any edge. In this case though, the Sox are about to get pushed off it.

:lol I love the malice in your post, and seriously, how can you count them out with these two guys:

Seriously, the guy who deserves the AL MVP (if the Red Sox win the division, less if they only get the Wild Card) and a stellar pitcher. I'm calling it: 4-1 Red Sox win on the Johnson/Wakefield match-up, with at least 8 innings from Wake.

Yanks take an early 4-run lead! FUCK YEA!

Small's victory is all but garunteed now.

:lol Pretty much.

Our playoff rotation SHOULD be:

Small
Chacon
Johnson
Mussina

Fucking Johnson and Mussina are so hit and miss and have been all season though. The real anchors of this rotation are very clearly Chacon and Small. This leaves our bullpen pretty heavy.

Rivera
Gordon
Sturtze
Leiter
Wang
Wright

I'd take that. The reality is that they'd probably try to put either Wang or Wright into the starting rotation. So now we have three hit and miss pitchers and probablu Shawn Chacon. Great. They were working Wang to see if he could come out of the bullpen over the weekend last week IIRC.

Damn Dlee >_<

Wake the hell up bats, friggin Rusch sucks arse.
