I went to a few games this season too; "fans" are fucking cutthroat. I went to one of those games where Jeter was the last out...people would essentially call for his head. Shit is serious in the boogie-down when the Yankees are playing - especially in the postseason. I don't want to get hit with a rogue battery or three. :lol

He's not as shot as Leiter and doesn't need a strike zone the size of Uranus in order to get the ball over the plate but he isn't needed long term (and wouldn't be elgible for the playoffs anyway). 3 games, baby. Fucking Johnson and Mussina are so hit and miss and have been all season though. The real anchors of this rotation are very clearly Chacon and Small. This leaves our bullpen pretty heavy.

I'd take that. The reality is that they'd probably try to put either Wang or Wright into the starting rotation. So now we have three hit and miss pitchers and probablu Shawn Chacon. Great. They were working Wang to see if he could come out of the bullpen over the weekend last week IIRC.
