In Milwaukee, we all hate the Seligs. Part of the reason many people now believe in the Brewers is because the Selig family is no longer in control. Baseball needs to rid itself of the Selig name.

Sigh... that will never happen. The owners need someone to control, and no one has a weaker spine or yellow belly like Bud Selig.

It's true that the owners like selig. But its obvious that the fans dont. Perhaps Selig will get hit with a baseball at the all star game and our problem will be done away with. only if such things came true :(

How dare you insult my Brewers like that. The point i'm trying to make is that the brewers actually have a compitent team this year and can suprise many people. Even last year the brewers were above .500 up until the break. When spivey got hurt all things went to hell. But i have hope for the Brewers. Hopefully they can make a name for them selfs.

I really, really hate chicago. Any sports team that comes from that city gets hate from me, the Bears especially (bow down to Brett Favre, flatlander).

I can only hope that the Cubs lose all remaining games this season. May the Cubs stay loveable losers forever. :lol

Brewers have a ways to go. It looks like they got an owner that actually wants the team to win. Having the Seligs out of the equation helps the Brew Crew.

BTW, I live in Wisconsin and have lived in Wisconsin my entire life so that flatlander comment means nothing! Suck it down me and my ninjas have eyes and ears all over the state! I hear all the damn favre jocking every fucking day. It is pathetic and sad! Brewers should be better than last year but they will still get smoked by the Cubbies! IT is inevitable!

The Brewers have the making of a contender in the next couple of years. Sheets is lights out, Davis has developed into a solid number 2, and they have a lot of solid offensive players. They also have one of the top farm organizations in the biz. I expect to see the Astros and/or Cards fade as the Brewers ascend. Could make for some potentially AWESOME regional dick measuring contests between denizens of Chicago and Milwaukee.

What a nice breaking pitch by PRIOR for his last pitch of the game! End it on a K! :D

Six innings pitched 0 runs 4 hits

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo.

Hmmm, top of the ninth, 5 run lead, Hawkins in to end a game with a big lead. What's the over/under on his runs allowed? 2? I'm sure he'll turn it into a save. ;)

I remember a pretty funny article from ESPN or some other site about Dusty Baker's more... colourful managerial decisions. A couple of obvious jokes about pitchers being on strict 200 pitch counts, but even ignoring his handling of pitchers he's made some odd decisions over the years. :D

If Willis can put a full year together I'll be disappointed in the Cubs trading him away a few years back. :D

But for now I've noticed he starts the year strong and then fades as the year goes on. Maybe he'll put it all together this year. The guy has amazing stuff.

How can you be from Wisconsin and not worship Brett Favre?(j/k, or am I/) :lol

And the brewers can only go upwards since they are already the bottom of the barrel. There are two prospects i'm looking out for. Rickie Weeks and Prince Fielder. Wisconsin needs the brewers to succeed so that we can have another thing to ride flatlanders on. We already have the packers pummeling the bears annualy, now all we need is the brewers winning a world series before the cubs to for the ultimate in your face chicago.

Michigan and Minnesota also receive mcuh hate from me. I cant stand the Vikings(mostly culpepper and his ridiculous pre-game dance) and detroit with its pathetic excuse for a football team and horrible baseball team(plus have you actually seen detroit, ugliest city in the U.S bar none).

So heres to the brewers having an excellent season and beating out the cubs. Now that the Seligs are gone, anything is possible. And remember Cubs fans, everything that can go wrong with your team, shall go wrong with your team. Loveable losers indeed. :lol

why the fuck is jaret wright scared to pitch? he's shitting his pants out there.

please dont tell me we got another pitcher that cant handle playing for the yankees. i'll fucking explode.

NOW he's pitching. complete 180 from the 3rd inning. i hope he's not like this all the time going all jekyll and hyde.

Astros hitting blows...

Chi Sox win it in 10 =)
6-2 on the year now, all against division opponents. Contreras with another solid outing, and 3.1 scoreless IP from our bullpen. We are looking real good.

yeah it was. you need to start posting in here more often. I get lonely being the only Sox fan around here =(

I really like our depth though. Podsednik out with the hammy problem, and we have people like Timo and Pablo in there that can pick up some of the slack.
Also, I'm glad Pierzynski got that double, because he shoulda caught at last one of those throws to the plate =p

Well that was a beautiful display of hitting for Clemens tonight Stros, you fucking double A ball club.

I do for you to sit on Kuroyume.

WTF wont Garner use Lidge :|

Mets won, and the bullpen held. I was worried about Looper, though, in that second inning of his.

Looper is one crazy-ass closer; it almost looked like he was laughing when the bases were loaded after each pitch, but this time he didn't blow it, so good enough I guess.

I'm trying not to get to excited about the strong start. It was good to see another decent Contreras start, although Ozzie left him in just a little too long.

Reds sweep Mets, Astros sweep Reds, Mets almost sweeping Astros ... makes sense.

Payback's a bitch this weekend 'Stros. Your success against us wil lbe short lived!

Want to know the hard truth...all 3 of those teams really suck.

:lol

Actually I'm fairly certain im right at this point in time, all 3 of those teams are lacking in key areas.

Good solid game tonight. Choi w/ his first homer. Good news Penny might return on the 24th? Gagne recoverying nicely. Can't wait till friday's game.

Odalis might have a break out year if kent, drew and others stay consistant.

Nice game by Perez, kept his pitch count low and went deep into the game. Giants havent figured him out yet i guess.

P.S Yhency with a better outing by far is a good sign I hope. :D

Gotta show some love for my 6-3 D-Backs:

D. Baxter sez: "What's up bitchezzz!?"

I wonder why there were no post from our Opening game. That was one of the best opening game i have seen. Given Ellison was playing left field it was truely amazing the dodgers scored that many runs in the 9th. It seems like they are carrying the comeback reputation from last season.

Go M's, back to .500!

Not sure how long we'll keep the winning record, though.
Im pretty confident the M's will at least finish over .500. Thats a long way to climb from a 99 loss season.

I got a dilemma fellas..watch my team destroy Roy O. tomorrow night, or watch Clemens destroy my team sunday? I've never seen him pitch and he's a legend, but its no fun to watch your team get pwned.
