Man, I bet you wish you could bottle this feeling up and enjoy it whenever you want. One whole game above the D-Rays...must be heavenly!
kick a man while he's down, that's some fucked up shit.

It's only because you're a yankee fan Joe! I'd feel guilty if I didn't take advantage of this situation. :lol Seriously though..... I'm rooting for you guys. I'll even bring back the Kid Wonderful avatar if you can throw together 3 wins in a row.

White Sox are on a nice run now but have you guys noticed that their record is almost wholey padded vs Weak AL Central teams?

vs AL Central: 18-4 (14-3 vs the Indians, Tigers and Royals :lol )
vs everyone else: 5-3 (vs Mariners, As, and Blue Jays...all under .500 except for the Blue Jays).

Me thinks the White Sox are going to have a much worse record in about a month from now, as they don't play an AL Central team for the next 23 games. They really haven't faced any really good teams so far IMO.

It sure makes you look good when you beat the tar out of the likes of the Royals, Tigers and Indians.

what the fuck? Posednik had FOUR steals today?? Forget THAT stat in fantasy this week. I thought I was looking in the rbi column!

This Clint Barmes kid for Colorado is pretty damn good. 412 batting average and he just hit a 3-run inside the park homerun.

8-0 Braves. Poor Astros. :lol

I missed it, but it looks like Zaun is being stretchered at second in the Jays game. What happened?

TORONTO'S GREGG ZAUN WAS TAKEN OFF THE FIELD ON A STRETCHER. HE WAS APPARENTLY HIT IN THE HEAD BY PEDRO LOPEZ' KNEE WHILE SLIDING INTO SECOND BASE.

Woot!! Maybe the best pickup I had this year in fantasy baseball. With Nomar playing like shit, and then going on the DL, this guy has saved me.

Oh, and Cubs win! Cubs win!! Though they had to have Zambrano go the full 9. Jeez. This game did lead to one of my best fantasy moves though. Benched both of my Cub offensive players, and bet on this being a pitching battle. Started both Brett Myers and Zambrano. They both pitched complete games. 1 run for Z, 2 for Myers. 10 k's for Myers too.

The Braves reek of AWESOMENESS. What's that? Is that the crying of a Mets fan that I hear? Muhahahaha.

Mike Hampton and Tim Hudson are gonna merit some Cy Young consideration if they keep this up.

bs. if our starting pitching remains this good, then it doesn't matter who the fuck we face. 19-3 with a 2.96 era. i'm sorry, that is not simply due to playing bad teams. cleveland's offense doesn't exactly suck

You're so dumb. Your team is only three and a half games ahead so stop acting like it's a 20 game lead. :lol

Who's the best #3 starter in all of MLB?
hampton.jpg

Plus Bobby Cox should start him in RF instead of Raul "Ground Out Weakly" Mondesi.

What the!? I'm watching the Final Word, Chicago sports recap basically. It has Tom Wadell and some other dude. Anyway, they're recapping the Cubs game and Aramis Ramirez hits a blast and Tom Waddell says ".... and boom goes the dynamite." :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol I nearly died. This really shouldn't be getting around :lol

It is a 3.5 game lead over the Mets after only 31 games played. Extrapolate that to the entire 162 game season and Mets are on pace to finish 18 games back of the Braves. :lol

I'm dumb? I wasn't the one predicting Mets dominance, my friend. Maybe you should take a tip from Michael Jackson and try looking at the man in the mirror. Uh, that's probably the only tip you should take from Michael, tho.

:lol @ the Stros....At this point we should just start using Round Rock to play our games, this is beyond fucking pathetic.I think our minor leaguers would put up more fight.

16-0....*shakes head*

haha. once i saw he was playing the cubs for three games, i knew that would get him out of his slump =p

he's always been the cub killer

A rough couple of losses for the Jays over the weekend but thank god for KC! :D The Jay's record at home is clearly a major problem, hopefully a week of seeing the pathetic Royals followed by a set with the underachieving Indians will help.

I love the Yankees talk from the New York media now. From being lower than dogshit to on the verge of a 12 game winning streak. Mike from Mike and the Maddog said it would be the Summer of Excitement for Yankee fans. :lol

Fucking pathetic. I don't dog my teams when they are down, take your lumps like men ya bitches.

hawk needs to come back as announcer. him and his detatched retina. Don Pall and now Robin Ventura are just awful up there. and that is saying a lot when they're awful compared to Hawk.

Im not liking what im seeing from Perez today against the cards. Wont be long before they explode on us for a huge inning.

i dont wanna jinx it but the yankees are playing like theyve turned it around. a couple more quality starts in a row and some solid bullpen work in the next 2 or 3 games and i'll be convinced.

Why did they restart the Cubs/Mets game in the 2nd inning with the mets up 4-0?

Just end the game. The Cubs have already given up. It'll take us 4 games to reach 4 runs.
