Man, my pitchers have all been hammered again today. DId not like what I saw from Brazoban at all, his pitches all looked very, very hittable (except for the ones 2 feet out of the strike zone).

Donnelly blew a hold for me by giving up a homer to Hildalgo with Teixeira on base... of course I have Hidalgo and Teixeira on my fantasy team along with Donnelly and K-Rod so it stings a bit less but still. :\

I'm 9-6 tonight.. following an 8-0 performance last night.. a bit disappointing. Still, the Padres won and in the end isn't that all that matters?

Thursday April 7, 2005:

Reds over Mets 6-4 (everything tells me that Ishii beats Harang anyday.. but the Mets have burned me twice in a row)
Royals over Tigers 5-4
Nationals over Phillies 5-1 (Wolf is a better pitcher than Loaiza.. but Loaiza has never lost in April)
White Sox over Indians 4-3
Athletics over Orioles 7-5
Florida over Atlanta 4-0 (AJ will show Hudson how to pitch)
Rangers over Angels 5-3 (Wha??? That's right. Young Chris Young beat the Angels both times he saw them last year. 2.25 ERA against them.)
Padres over Pirates 3-0 (San Diego will be anemic but Peavy just murders the Pirates)
Giants over Dodgers 6-5

:lol :lol :lol

Oh Iceman. Your conservative political views have turned your brain to JELLY.

And the Reds fans are always so endearing at the start of the season. Hey Boomer- care to make a friendly little wager? The Braves will wind up with a better record than the Reds. Fifty bucks. Waddya say? Any other Reds fans are welcome to step up as well. I could use the cash.

Oh. One more thing. HEY METS FANS. YOUR TEAM IS OFFICIALLY BEHIND THE BRAVES IN THE STANDINGS- WHERE YOU'RE GONNA BE ALL YEAR LONG SUCKERS. Suck the failure down!

No thanks Raoul, after the Braves made the playoffs with their shitty lineup last year, I'm not taking any chances. I bow down to your superior coaching staff.

O Gosh, Ishii and the Mets in trouble already. Top of the 1st, 2 on and no body out. ishii has had base on ball problems all his career.. he might just walk in a few runs today by the looks of it.

Oh man! The Royal's Greinke was drilled in the arm by a line drive. He's out of the game early. Now the game's up for grabs.

Reds fans are funny? Cincinnatians have dealt with dual shit sports teams the last few years, (before it was just the Bengals). We take what we can get. And right now, that is smacking the shit out of the Mets and their sky high payroll.

wtf, why is Griffey not in the lineup

I think the Reds said that Grif won't be in the lineup when a day game directly follows a night game. I don't if that applies to only home games or not.

It doesn't matter. Even if the Braves have a better record; they will still end up choking during post season play. You know it. I know it.

white sox up 5-1 in the bottom of the 6th. gonna be nice to start with a sweep.

Contreras has looked really good. If Duque is in his form from last year, I like our starters a whole fucking lot.

Jose Vidro hit THE LONG BALL earlier this inning to give Washington the lead today. Go Nats, go!

Why Robinson left Loaiza in there as long as he did is BEYOND me, though!

What kind of messed up line is this Ishii??

Innings: 6.2
Hits: 2
Runs: 6
Earned Runs: 5
Walks: 4
Strikeouts: 7
Homers: 1

Mets need to get home... that's all... >.< Anyway it will be nice to start pounding the crap out of Atlanta and Houston the next few games. We'll be 6 and 3 by the end of next week.

the only thing that'll be pounded is mets fans heads against a brick wall. pettite, clemens, smoltz against jae seo, heilman and..... pedro i guess. we could be looking at a 3-6 record or 2-7.

Yeah, the Indians just exploded when Guillen ran out of pitchers.

I heard they had the third string catcher up and warming in the pen.

Evil, dont bother responding to him,his words just flow from his ass.

I bout shit my pants when I saw that Indians score...I was trying to watch it on MLB.com but for some reason I couldn't get it to stream at a steady rate :(

Anyone have some good cap-curving tips? I just got a new Jays hat and of course it's as flat as a board now, and bending it isn't doing much...seeing as how the home opener is tomorrow and I don't want to look like a fool, I come asking GA if they have any family secrets that can unlock this mystery.

I just bend my caps slightly. The smaller the curve the better. You don't want to look like a retard and have it look like a taco shell.

How about Nick Swisher?

Two Homeruns in 2 games for the rookie. The Moneyball Kid was predicted as possible rookie of the year by Billy Beane.

Ha, whenever I hear that name(Nick Swisher), I think of Moneyball. Great book.

GOD I hate the TBS baseball announcers. The play by play guy (I refuse to learn their names) is a honest-to-god prick (ok, it's somewhat amusing hearing him answer simple questions in a harsh, bitchy manner) and their homerism is the truly annoying kind.

AND they call games for the Braves, the second most hated baseball team in the world. That's a sign they're going straight to Hell right there, so I guess it doesn't matter that they're sucking mad Braves cock all game long.

You should hear the announcers when the game airs on Sports south. They are even worse.
