Good lord! I would be worried that the Dodgers are about to get swept, if it wasnt for the fact that they're facing the juggernaut team that is the Kansa City Royals. :lol Someone tell Jim Tracy to start waving the white flag, they're beat! :lol

After Washington's 1-0 victory, Jose Guillen blasted Scioscia, his manager with the Angels last season.

"He was talking to me last year about respect and class and how we have to move on," Guillen said. "I don't care really much about Mike Scioscia.

"I have no respect for him any more, because I'm still hurt from what happened last year. Mike Scioscia to me is like a piece of garbage. I don't care if I get in trouble. He can go to hell."

I just wanted to tell our friend Bobby that I secured tix to the game tonight at Yankee Stadium... a game in which the Cubbies will get DESTROYED! DLEE IS GOING TO GET HIT IN THE FACE WITH A BATTERY... ONE THAT I THROW.
 
Just noticed that Mo's ERA is 1.05....

Other than the 2 blown at Boston, he's having a great year for someone who was suppossed to completely implode this season. Considering that everyone was quick to blow Foulke as the next big thing and the fact he's sporting a 5.20 ERA (though it's seemingly on the decline), I say that's not so bad.

I guess I'd still give my left nut for the fucker to have never walked Millar last year though.... :D

Atlanta certainly whooped up on Cinci. Without Hudson and Chipper, I think Smoltz and the gang will have a tough time continuing successfully. Unless Bobby Cox has some hidden card up his sleeve, the Braves are going to have to make do with quite a bit of new blood on the field, and I'm not sure that will work in such a tough division.

There is always hope, though :)

Also, Frank Thomas hit another homer today. That's five home runs in 25 at bats. That's beyond ridiculous.

With a good offense, he could reasonably be between 14-0 and 12-1 at this point...ridiculous.

I think it's time for Wang to move up to the #3 starter...ahead of Carl "Every other start's a good one" Pavano and Kevin "Washed Up" Brown. Even the 3.97 era is deceiving, some of his ER's this year were questionable.
