Corey better be out of the lineup the entire White Sox series. 0 for 6 with 5 strikeouts today! Woo not bad for a leadoff guy! YEAH. We have the best hitting average in the national league yet we have trouble scoring runs due to the fact that our leadoff guy is an automatic out!

BTW patterson has 13 hits and 26 strike outs now for the month of june. BOO YEAH. I'm glad the rest of the NL after the Cards suck as much as the Cubs. Keeping them in the wild card race!

-so is jeters sexuality known now?

Red Sox fans would like to thank the Jays for their latest contributions in the Sox' rise to first place in the AL East. Only a half game out now.

What an awesome game. Hopefully everyone will see Aaron Hill's amazing diving catch on the sports news tonight. Freaking amazing.....oh, and it was short so I'm home with half of game 7 left :D

Huge win......this next series against the Nats is big as well.

how do you lose a 4 game series to the devil rays at home? my mind is blown.

Really they are lucky to get out of the 4 games with a win, they were outplayed all series, except for the 8th inning of the 2nd game where they teed off on minor league pitching for 13 runs.

...fucking Yanks. :(

Well, here's hoping we right the ship against the Mets.

[spin]Maybe the D-Rays just have our number this year, like a couple of crappy teams did in 1998.[/spin]

Also, my God do we need an outfielder. <3 <3 <3 Kotsay plzkthx. :-\

I would never have guessed that after 73 games the Jays would be tied with the Yankees :D

It's going to be a fun race for the division title and hopefully a close one.

"James Hetfield, Metallica's lead singer, will be at the Stadium tonight as a guest of Randy Johnson and is slated to meet Mariano Rivera, who enters games to the band's Enter Sandman."

mrbob, get ready to see sergio mitre get blasted around the park while freddy garcia dominates your team for the second time this year.

:lol :lol :lol comcast is actually televising BP live :lol

The best thing about the Expos moving (and the endless, horrific joke that was the last 5 years of their existence in Montreal) is that during the interleague series I don't have to feel bad about hoping for a Jays sweep.

i was gonna come in and rant and rave, but it's useless. why should i as a fan get all worked up when the players dont? fucking useless. back to the eighties..........

:lol :lol :lol Cub Fans have taken over Commiskey

huh? it's always a hugely mixed crowd at both wrigley and the cell. it was the same way at wrigley.
hell, in the first game at wrigley there were deafening "PAUL-EEE" chants.

still, we're up 3-1 and Freddy is cruising minus the lucky hit by hollandsworth. mitre will be gone before the 5th inning is over.

You are dead to me.

If it were up to me, terrorist would blow up Shea/Yankee Stadium at the same time, incase one of the players got bad information and thought the game was at the wrong place.

suck it down cub fans. i'm going out now that this game is well in hand, so i won't be able to rub it in anymore.

i hope you guys enjoyed seeing what real baseball looks like for a change!

just about out the door and what do i see?
AJ with the two run bomb :lol :lol :lol :lol

nice bullpen you have there, Dusty :lol :lol

8-1 ahahahahhahaha

enjoy the loss cubbies. make sure to leave some amusing comments for me to read when i get back!

:lol Ok, the WGN White Sox announcer has me absolutely hating the team with his homerism and his annoying as fuck slang ("when is this inning going to get over?" "Get gone! Come on!") but the funniest thing about this game that I've seen is when the Sox knocked in those 4 extra runs and you'd see ppl in Cubs shirts applauding. Way to straddle that fence, true believers!

I know. It's pathetic! Local announcers can favor the home team a little bit perhaps, but their announcers sound like Mr. Bob after a night of drinking during a Cubs loss.
