At least Hawk talks when the White Sox are winning.

When they are losing you can sometimes hear crickets chirping for 3 minutes straight! He doesn't say a damn thing! :lol

:lol :lol :lol :lol so true.
or if we're up like 5-3 and the other team hits a 3 run homer in the bottom of the 9th, he just doesn't make the call.
it's absolutely silent. and hilarious.

not to mention Hawk and DJ have absolutely ZERO chemistry :lol
DJ will even ask Hawk a question sometimes, and Hawk just ignores him. He doesn't call a play or anything, he just ignores him. it's so fucking funny. this year 95% of their on air time is spent reading e-mails :lol

Hey Bob,hows it feel looking up at the Stros in the standings? :D

:lol

I would love to see Ichiro win it. I think he could actually. It's just that he's always trying to get a base hit and use his speed. If he's getting pitches right down the middle he could drive them wherever.

Nice collapse boys, I should have expected nothing less from a bad team.

Additional Dodger note, Jeff Kent out with hamstring strain

Izturis replaced by Ensberg
Kent replaced by Biggio.

The goal for game two of the double header is 5 hits! We got 3 the first game. BELIEVE!

7 runs in the last 8 games. Or 8 runs in the last 7 games. I forget which one it is. Doesn't matter. All it shows is the Cubs offense is pathetic Disastros offense circa April/May!

:lol Ichiro might be in the homerun derby! AWESOME! Watch him win that shit.
Have you guys ever seen him during batting practice? I went early to a game here in Seattle once, and he hit like 15 in a row. They weren't moon shots or anything, but he has a great deal of power that he doesn't show off in-games.

ESPN has a totally fucked up news title.
Foulke has knee surgery; Red Sox designate Damon

They have their names messed up, Damon and Payton. Reading the headline I was like WTF?:!? Boston is smoking crack!!

Derek Lee is your offense. And he's gone for a couple games... too bad.

WTF is Johnny Damon thinking with all this nonsense about Schilling? It's obvious that even after another rehab start that Schill won't be 100%, the Sox starting rotation is doing pretty well without him, and the bullpen is in flux with Foulke fubar. Why doesn't it make complete sense to put him in the bully a while so that he gets a) regular work b) in short spells?? Sounds like a perfect rehab situation to me, for the team and Schilling.

Sure everyone knows that you'd be a better team with him as the ace starter he was last year..what the fuck is the point of saying that? Is it worth risking rushing him back to supplant a need you don't have (quality starters) so that he could be the "ace" while your bullpen is giving up the booty after the starters leave the hill? Especially given that its highly likely that Schilling will begin starting again the minute he regains his form and the bullpen stabilizes (probably with a deadline move, maybe for Guardado).

Futhermore, when you're in first, getting one of your key teammates back, sending a number of your players to the All-Star game, with your World Series MVP finding his old form and the one remaining bad apple on the team looking to leave, why would you just randomly cause clubhouse drama over something so trivial?? It just seems completely absurd to me. A player publicly second guessing the manager over nonsense. What a fucking asshat. If the team tanks in the second half I fully expect the entire New England region to run Johnny out of town. Nice going, fuckface.

:lol :lol :lol :lol :lol the cubs have the worst bullpen i've ever seen

lmfao@ Santo
as usual, i had the TV on, but was listening to Santo call the game....RIGHT when Jones hit the ball, before I knew it was gone by seeing it on the TV I just hear Santo say "OH NO"

:lol :lol :lol .....then after that all he said was "oh my god. oh gosh. this is just....this is just.....this is so bad, Pat. oh my gosh"

MOTHER FUCKER. THE CUBS IMPLODE ON FIELD TOO. GAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

FUCK THIS SHIT. 5 RUN 8TH. I'M NOT SAYING A BAD THING ABOUT THE WHITE SOX ANYMORE. THEY CAN PLAY BALLL LAJROEIAFJEJAOFEJAIOFEJALE.

:lol :lol

Mrbob and Cubsfan, I'll make you both a deal....since you both bet $10 that the Cubs would finish with a better record than the Chi Sox, you can both paypal me $9 now and we'll call it even.
But the division bet i'm taking to the bank.

....

:lol
But seriously, I'll let you save yourselves a dollar now.

THIS IS WHAT 100 MILLION DOLLARS GETS YOU. WE HAVE THE FUNDING TO PAY 200 MILLION LIKE THE YANKEES. WE COULD BE 5 GAMES OVER .500 THEN.
