Haha.

Prior 2-2 today with an rbi single.

Cubs 7, 8, 9 hitters today are 6-6 so far with 4 rbi!

Cubs are finally making opposing pitchers work!

The Dominican's have the best offense on paper, but the US has the best overall pitching and an offense that is very close to the the Dominican's IMO.

kramer's guys? hehe. i gotta call my father and see who the dominicans are gonna put in the starting rotation. i wonder if pedro with that big contract would be allowed to pitch.

Oh...Oh Yanks in trouble! Persevere bitches...persevere!

We need pitching baaaaaad!!!!

...this is news. :-\

Brown and Wright'll be back in two weeks, and F. Rodriguez'll be back in a bit too. If they can do the job, we'll be sitting pretty.

hol shit, i ccompletely forgot about francisco rodriguez. he's been like MIA since... well, i forget. what happened to wang?

"Yankees place RHP Chien-Ming Wang on 15-day DL"

they're bringing up tim redding. just when things look good, they completely crumble.

he's got inflamation in his right shoulder (the same shoulder he had surgery on in 2001 and made him miss an entire season).

kevin brown, jaret wright, carl pavano, chien-ming wang....all on the dl at the same time :lol

Killer M's +D :lol, Koby Clemens signs with the stros over heading to UT. Gonna be very surprised if Roger doesn't pitch for another year just to pitch to him in a spring training game.

oh geez. what a bad break. tim redding? this must be the work of either matrix or miguel. i cant decide which one.....

You wanna know why Bernie is being used as a scapegoat? Because he's a nice guy who doesn't pound his chest for every little thing. Mind you if he acted out like Shefield he would be playing every day!

uh... or it could be due to the fact that his skills are declining. but i agree, he's being screwed here and i as a yankee fan dont like it.

You just watch Mel Stottlemeyer work his special magic on Tim Redding.

Yeah, I don't buy that shit neither. :lol

His ERA should be hovering around 30.00 in no time.

Have fun giving up the first 25 run inning ever. on 26 pitches (Reddings first pitch will be a strike right down the middle...every other pitch will be right down the middle too....

I'm going to the Mariners game tonight here's hoping Palmerio hits his 3000th.

I like his chances.

Palmeiro is a career .280 hitter (42-for-150) at Safeco Field, with 16 homers and 47 RBIs. His 51 home runs against the Mariners are his most against any team. And Aaron Sele is known for giving up the long ball.

Could Palmeiro's 3000th hit be a HR? I believe only Wade Boggs has accomplished that feat.

Cubs 4-0 in the Patterson-less era! :D

Speaking of Patterson, he just had his first AAA at bat tonight. Guess what happened? Drumroll please....

you just cant handle that he's sexier than ichiro. they're not even in the same league. give it up.

shut your mouth. Derek Jeter looks like The Rock's retarded little brother. He doesn't have an ounce of the sexiness that Ichiro exudes.

Personally I think this is mistake. UT is a good baesball team and he could potentially make it faster to the major there than he would making his way up in the minors straight out of high school. But I'm glad that Houston actually pays attention to local talent. Too many good players have slipped through their fingers that have orginated in this area.

Nice win by the Mets! Good start! :)

Indeed. The Cubs have made back 3 of the 4 games they lost in Atlanta now! Keep the winning streak up because I know the Mets can't keep it up all year! Beat Atlanta while the Mets are hot and let the Cubs and Disastros battle it out for the wild card.

I don't want to admit it, but Schilling's career is over. He's never going to be the same again.

Good grief.

I just turned on the Red Sox/Yankees game. That first strikeout for Schilling was a good 8 inches off the plate!

obvious balls have been strikes all night. and one inning a pitch off the plate will be a strike, another inning, the same pitch in the same spot is a ball.

I heard from inside sources that Mel's tweaked Redding's mechanics to the point whee he's so finely tuned he'll only give up 10 runs tomorrow.

Christ, I think I'd rather see Andy Hawkins pitch tomorrow. .

Good win today thought, and very big of Mariano to completely dominate. I'd buy him a drink if I could.
