I was at work and listening to the game on the internet. Gary Cohen's call of that home run gave me chills.

I'm not entirely sure I'd call giving up 2 Runs in 8 Innings getting "his ass handed to him" but Hernandez got the loss indeed.

Looked damn fine out there though.
 
For FUCK'S SAKE. Jays lose the series to the fucking Orioles. McGowan, head back to AA and take Hinske with ya.


I'll be honest-I am in serious doubt the Jays can win the series against Tampa Bay this weekend. TAMPA BAY. If we finish any lower then 3rd in the AL East I will fucking WEEP.
 
Yes the Jays are sucking hard. Bring back Doc, and let him go for the Cy Young. If he does re-aggravate his injury, he'll have all winter to think about it. I can't believe they slipped under .500.

Oh by the way. No chance for the Indians to catch the Wh. Sox. Chicago had a little stumble, but its clear sailing for them the rest of the way. 8 games is too much ground to make up in 27-28 games left.
 
i cant believe i actually thought this team could win the division a few days ago. the seattle series should have been theirs they were lucky to split now they're getting MASSACRED in oakland. i cant fucking take it. fucking posada's a bum, get that fuck out of here. he's fucking useless back there and at the plate. mother fucker. go astro's!

yeah you guys should trade Posada already and call up Dioner Navarro. Nick Johnson should be able to handle the 1B job fulltime now, so i think you can probably unload Giambi and Tino for some prospects. And Yhency Brazoban and Brad Halsey would do well in this rotation, certainly better than Jaret Wright or Kevin Brown. With this young core, the Yankees will be great for years to come!!

With today officially being my Death Of Playoff Hopes(losing tiwce to Tampa Bay...pathetic.) It is now time to lower my standards.

I only expect two things from the Jays at the end of the season:

1)Finish above .500.
2) Finish 3rd in AL East.

Do both, and i'll be mildly happy. Bonus if:

3)Hinske and/or Mcgowan are released/sent down.
