Hey Chi sox fans hows the ass-rape from Cleveland feel?

8-0 top of the 9th.

Ah, bliss.

THE CHOKE JOB CONTINUES!!!!!!

GO TRIBE!

where were you last night? if you're gonna talk shit when you win, man up and post when your hearts get broken in extras.

but in response:

Hey Indians fans, how's it feel to still be in 2nd place by 2.5 games?

Last night was the wife and I's anniversary. There are somethings more pressing than watching baseball.

I was miffed when I found out about the extra inning loss last night.

There is a big difference between an extra inning loss and a total shut-out ass-kicking like the Sox just received.

Besides, I'm a Cleveland fan.. it's all little victories.

I'm glad to see Hafner getting back into his zone. When he's locked in, he can really unload with the best in baseball. He was similarly locked in when he got a concussion against the Sox earlier this year.

Which was a blessing in disguise, since Victor Martinez got really hot to pick up the slack, and has stayed hot.

Also, welcome to the Wild Card race Boston. See you around New York. The Tribe will still be waiting here if you guys want to flip spots a few more times.

And that play saved a run in the Yanks' ONE RUN victory over the O's. So I guess if we put Ortiz at third base he'd WIN THE GAME FOR THE BOSOX?!

Oh yeah, and one more thing.

:lol :lol Santana will be starting against the White Sox again.

should be fun to watch.

:lol :lol

White Sox are done with, that much is certain. The only interesting reason to watch is to see how many games they finish BEHIND the Indians. :lol :lol

I was able to get into the pre sale and buy six Indians playoff tickets for Home Game 2 (WC or Division) and Home Game 3 (Division champion only) of the divisional round. :)

I guess this just proves that Tampa Bay fucks everyone equally and not just us. :D

Boston better pray their home from now on since that's the only place they'll win.

From ESPN article

Rafael Palmeiro reportedly told a three-member baseball arbitration panel that a teammate gave him a substance that might be responsible for his positive steroid test, a source told the Baltimore Sun.

A second source told the Sun that Palmeiro named the teammate when he presented his defense when appealing his suspension. However, a source told the newspaper that while he told the panel that he had received a substance from a teammate, he didn't make the case that the substance in question caused his positive test result.

The House Committee on Government Reform is investigating whether Palmeiro's statements to the panel have merit, the Sun reported, by interviewing people, including members of the Orioles such as Palmeiro himself and the team's head trainer, Richie Bancells.

Bancells confirmed to the newspaper that he had spoken to the committee.

The baseball arbitration panel denied Palmeiro's appeal, saying he failed to establish the positive test result was not his fault.

Yeah, but we have McCarthy going. 3 runs allowed in his last 24 IP. And he has looked absolutely filthy since he got his change working.
A former Cy Young winner against a future Cy Young winner.
Gonna be a good game.

The White Sox had their top 3 pitchers going up against Clevelands 3, 4, 5. AT HOME. And lost 2 out of 3. Buerhle didn't even pitch well in his start where the Sox won. Just shows you both teams are going in different directions. Oh and nice job Ozzie for ripping the shit out of the White Sox fanbase today. :)

I think the best part of these last two weeks is hearing sound bites of Hawk going insane on TV.

"NO ROWEN!"

"GO CREDE!"

Ahahaha, the guy is going nuts.

um, Garcia hasn't been one of our top 3 pitchers for the better part of 2 months now.
Contreras took his place a while ago.

also, Elarton has been pitching out of his mind the last month, so it's not like he was a typical #5 pitcher, much like I wouldn't laugh at a team who lose against Contreras and McCarthy because they're our 4 and 5 pitchers.

I'm not trying to make excuses. We've been playing like absolute shit in all aspects of the game. But pointing out that we lost to Cleveland's 3 and 5 starters is a moot point.

Astros just won. Phillies are tied 0-0 going into the 9th.

Edit: God damn Hudson. 2 out in the top of the 9th and then gives up 4 runs. Arg....

"The White Sox are doing better than anyone thought, thus our historical late season collapse should not worry anyone since we weren't predicted by the 'experts' to be in this position in the first place, am i rite?"

:lol

wtf?

the post you quoted had absolutely nothing to do with that. what are you on? oh right, you're just an idiot troll. i forgot. carry on.

actually, i'm just gonna put you on ignore until we win the central. then i'll take you off so i can quote all your posts and make you look like an even bigger idiot, if that's possible.

at least cubsfan, mrbob, etc. have been on me all year. you just show up now like a douche.

i've been all year, it's just that i find posting after every single reds loss a bit self-defeating and boring. u, on the otherhand, have been hyping the whitesox to the worldseries ever since they started out with one win and zero losses, so excuse me if their HISTORICAL collapse is more than midly amusing to me. :lol

Yeah, life-long White Sox fan here. Been subject to much bashing these past few weeks from my mostly Cub-loving office. Have been out sick all week and came in to find a bunch of newspaper articles bashing the Sox taped to my office door. I'll never hear the end of it if they blow it.

But they won't. :D

:lol :lol same thing here, only it's my two roommates who keep giving me shit. you think getting it at the office is bad, try living with it.
No matter what we were doing the last two weeks they always found a way to relate it to the Sox collapse.

For example, we're playing Madden. I have a 10-0 lead going into the 4th quarter, and I blow the game and lose. My other roommate: "Man, you really White Sox'd that one!"

HAR HAR

OMG.

More than ever, I'd rather watch a Bonds at-bat than any other moment in sports. Yet his recent words and deeds have finally made it impossible for even me -- a Barry fan -- to separate the hitter from the jerk.

:lol :lol :lol This guy has been hatin on Bonds for his entire time with teh Giants. WTF is he talking about. He dogs on every fucking bay area team ever. Niners (even when they good), Raiders, Warriors, Sharks, A's, earthquake... FUCK YOU SKIP, YOU SUCK!
