Oh i thought no one would make a WBC thread :D I thought we just were gonna use the off season MLB thread.

Anyways, Venezuela sucksss :((( We are gonna get ridicously beaten by Canada and Italy

I like the WBC good early baseball it's more entertaining than the Spring Training matches.

Yessss...has it been 4 years already? Wow...been waiting for this.

Ah, 3 years. Still, hasn't felt like that long.

Alot of people dont care for MLB but like international matches.

The last one was pretty good.

Japan won the last one, for those who don't remember.
Cuba came in 2nd.
USA in 8th.

I have tickets for the first and last game at the Rogers Centre.
Go Canada.

I'll be the guy in either the Yount or Cirillo jersey rooting for the U-S-A!!

I have tickets for the game in Toronto on Sunday

Should be USA vs Venezuela

I think Canada has a shot at 2nd but just imagine if Harden, Dempster and Francis were pitching

I'm honestly shocked that there are people giving Venezuela as a favourite even though I think we are the only contending team that is worse than 2006.

I'm surprised with China thus far, good thing that there wasn't a mercy rule game on the asian zone.

Tomorrow should be a good day! can't wait. I think Italy will give a big surprise beating us.

judging by the exhibition games, Italy looks better than I expected.

Even though China lost the first game, they are looking surprisingly good this year. They got stomped last year and the sport was never big in the country. Now they are about to eliminate Taiwan.

Korea vs. Japan is the money match.

Woohoo! Go USA! Don't get embarrassed this time!

Chipper, McCann, Vazquez, Campillo and Blanco (well I don't really care about him, Venzelua can do what they want with him.) Please don't get hurt.

The last WBC was awesome, I hope this thing catches on.

Canada's gonna get waxed though. All our pitching's injured. They're actually saying things to the media like "we have the advantage of surprise because our pitching's unknown."

Oh well. I can root for Japan when Canada gets knocked out. I have a Japanese fan with Lin Wei Chu from Hanshin on it too, I guess I can pull for him on Taiwan.

Loved the WBC last time, enjoying it today too (although I could use another 8-0 lead :P). I don't think we're getting as lucky as we did last opening game. ;)

Yeah, our pitching is iffy at the best of times, and our best pitchers aren't there so... at least we have some good bats in the lineup! :lol

Canada is similar to Venezuela. We have good lineups but we can't pitch for shit.

At least we have King Felix and K-Rod.

Lol Dominican Republic :lol

You are getting beat by us! HAH!!

Gonna go to a few games this week here in Puerto Rico. Of course only gonna go watch local games so I am not watching the Holland vs. Panama game today. Hope its fun!

I'm rooting for the US to go all the way, but when it comes to DR vs PR you are going down.

6-5 USA. At least Canada put up a brave fight, no shame in losing by 1 run to those guys. I expect them to face Italy in the next game and walk all over them.

The atmosphere was fucking fantastic.

I almost want us to lose against Italy to face Canada. It'll probably be a close game and would be insane!

What is the patch that is on the Canadian player's left arm?

:lol It's the logo for Home Hardware, a chain of neighborhood hardware stores. I have no clue why its there.

That is really weird. I know in MLB you aren't allowed to have corporate logos on uniforms. I guess that isn't true for the WBC.

I have no idea if its true but it just looked so out of place since it was also cutting of the WBC logo.

Great USA/Canada game today. I love the WBC.

But the only bad thing about the WBC is everyone is not at the top of their game. I wish there was another time they could do the thing, but March is really the only time they can do it.

Shouldn't it be Nike? Since you know, most probably worked there when they turned 10.

Nice racist comment there. I don't think there is a Nike factory on my country asshole.
