I like Bogut. IMO he's underrated. Too much credit is given to Brandon Jennings for the Bucks being somewhat decent... But if he keeps up with 12 boards and 3 blocks a game, I'll be even more impressed...

It does feel like the East has a bunch of very good centers, with Howard, Noah, Horford, Bogut, Amare... although some are out of position.
It really is a shame that Horford has been forced to play out of position his entire NBA career.

Yeah, and listing Amar'e as a center is funny as well..

Gabyskra said:
Yeah, even funnier, the fact that he plays the position currently.

sigh.. yeah.

But he is not a center. Billy Owens played center for Don Delson.. but that doesn't make him a center just like Amar'e...

Gabyskra said:
Not like him playing the 5 corresponds to his well publicized scoring streak, you'd have known, right?

This has a point in here somewhere I am sure..

If Amare is a 5, then Chandler is a power forward and Toney Douglas is a great pg off the bench..

Pringles for everyone

NY fans forgot about Nellie ball and now that it is back they are doing the Bernie..

You meant funny as in weird?
:lol :lol

Amare's not a C. He can play there, particularly for the regular season, but he's not one. The same way you can have Tyreke at point, but he isn't one.

Heat have recalled Pittman from D-League

He averaged 16.6 points, 9.0 rebounds and 1.6 blocks in an average of 30.6 minutes per game

Hopefully he at least brings a smidget of those numbers off the bench for us.

I don't think he's a center.

I don't think Duncan is a PF either. He's still the greatest PF to have played the game ever.

I think TD's game is more suited for the PF position than the C.. If there was no DRo he would have played C his entire career and his game would have been different..

In smallball systems... Most players are playing out of positon.. and Amar'e will be remembered as a PF

You're arguing semantics, not basketball. I was talking about what they currently do, not what they should do or what they're better at. It was pretty obvious with Horford and me mentioning him and Amare "playing out of position"... damn, the things some people will do to troll or be in an artificial position to "teach".
Amare is a PF, thanks I know that. Now he's a C. He shouldn't be even though he's doing great. Not his nature, not what he'll be remembered as. Who the fuck does not know that?

how is it trolling? no where did anyone blast the Knicks or Amar'e or anything.. just said he is a PF.. so is Horford (was I just trolling the Hawks??????)

The one great thing about Duncan retiring is that this stupid argument will die.
No it won't. He's in my all time starting five. But people will argue to no end that he should be behind Wilt or Russell because he's a center. Which he is. But he played the 4. So do whatever the fuck you want with fantasy teams should be the only answer to this debate...

No it wont.

Ah, sure it will. With how little people talk about Duncan despite him dominating the league for years, I fully expect him to be as well-known as Rik Smits upon retirement. No one is going to waste time making dumb arguments about his position in 10 years. They'll just hear "best PF ever" say "OK", not watch a single minute of game tape, and take it at face value, kind of like they do with Wilt and Russell.

People remember champions, even whiny ones..

Laker fans are really easy, and when I want to get a good few trolls in for the day, they are the go-to targets.

Besides, I've been on the Miami kids a little too much lately. Gotta switch it up.

It's funny how 3-8 rhymes with bait.

And Duncan is a PF, period.

Yea right. There'll be arguments against that too.

Duncan hasn't played PF in like 5 years. It's a joke he's still listed there on the all-star ballot.

Didn't he cry about being listed as a C, because Yao was a lock to start?

That and the "best PF ever" thing are why the Spurs will never, ever acknowledge he's a center. They list guys like Matt Bonner, Antonio McDyess, and Dejuan Blair as centers instead. :lol

Wait, just thought of something.

Isn't Yao out for the season? Isn't Bynum getting 2nd most votes for the all-star game at Center?

So the all-star game West is going to be starting: Kobe at point, Gasol at Forward, Bynum at C?

why is kobe starting at point?

also, suns, 7 FTA, Thunder, 18FTA :lol

Yes, which means in all likelihood Duncan will start at C at the all-star game.
That or chandler, Al, or NeNe.

I thought Stern picks injured player replacements, thats how Mo got in? and D.West?

James Harden 9 FTA. Suns 9 FTA.

Why does James Harden get that kind of respect? Dude's a scrub.

Harden gets the dumbest, most ticky-tack calls. He attempts directly to draw blocking fouls (Not drawing charges, drawing blocks) and somehow gets them. Such an annoying, unwatchable player.

Half the thunder points have come from the FT line.

I'm not watching the game, just the box score, but thats a little absurd, the suns don't normally play enough D to give up that many fouls.

The whole OKC team is unwatchable. Their games are free throw parades.

Also, how the hell do you get out rebounded by the suns.

THIS suns team?

:lol

OKC need to break out of this form slippage soon.

How exactly can Dwight go to the Lakers? Their entire cap would be taken up by Kobe and Gasol when Dwight becomes a free agent and Bynum+Odom+Artest pushes them far over it.
