It's mostly Laker fans who bought the season tickets for 4 Laker games :p

No way man.

Everyone knows that the Laker fans are fake, I mean, even in Game 7, Staples was silent the entire game.

Wait, I'm sorry there wasn't even a Game 7 because Paul Pierce told me that the series wasn't coming back to LA...and I still believe him cause he's The Truth.

Blake Griffin dunk against Rockets

Honestly, I'm glad this guy is on the Clippers. As far as franchises that desperately need a draw, a reason to get people excited in the team, Clippers is pretty close to the top. Enough of this everyone joining forces bs. Enough of 3-4 championship contenders every year, the same Lakers-Celtics finals we've seen for decades. I hope he stays on the Clippers and makes them a contender.

As soon as his rookie contract is up he is out of Clip land, sorry brah

Sorry man.

The only league with true parity is the Not For Long.

I told my brother the same thing:

Westbrook, KD, Green and the Griffinator in 3 years = We Already Won

Trade for Andre Miller and let Westbrook play SG and make Green the 6th man..

Also did Silas get the Bobcats job?

I HAVE FAITH IN THE CLIPPERS!

Seriously, Griffin can do for the Clippers what Durant did for the Thunder. Why join them?

The FO did what it did for the Thunder with smart picks and decent contracts.. Clippers have an owner who gives washed up players huge contracts and then heckles them...

Green would be nice, but in no way essential. Just need a goon @ centre. And you could probably get rid of westbrook even, though he would be nice to keep. KD/Griffin in PnR action would be so hot.

No offense to Scotty Brooks but they would need a HOF coach, imo.

I think they'd need someone better than scotty. I have a bad feeling if they don't finish with ~50 wins his job could be in jeopardy anyway. I'm not sure who would be floating around by then. But i'm not sure there will be many/any HoF coachs going around regardless. Most are entering the end of their careers. George Karl?

Ehhh...fine. But Clippers do have some nice young talent so I see the potential.

I hear Larry Brown is available...

Seriously though, maybe not HOF but a proven solid HC with a plan.

I don't think Scotty Brooks will get there.

I honestly think, if given the pieces gentry could be that coach. But Doc will probably be available by then.

I don't disagree with any of that but I think Doc will go somewhere else like maybe Miami if they fail to chip up.

Not shitting on the team. Just saying their history has proved they really don't know what to do with young talent...

Have you just started watching basketball? You can rinse and repeat with this line almost every year or two.

Why are they wearing their jerseys backwards?

Jason Terry right next to Dirk at the top is eerily accidentally prescient.

so you can tell how ironic it is.

I threw out all my old copies of Slam today. I sort of wished I'd kept them but I don't think I'd really want to re-read them.

screw that. why are they wearing each others jerseys

that cover is looking mad bro-mo

Uncle Jeff needs to stop jacking 3's when he is not making anything and WTF at him shooting more than KD.

Green 6-19 FGM 1-6 for 3
Durant 9-18 FGM 1-4 for 3

Westbrook tried to take the game over and forgot to include the other guys and ball movement was pretty much nonexistent. 15 assists...

At least we rebounded OK.

I had not watched the Knicks this year and forgot how much fun D'Antoni ball is to watch.

It's fun when he has players that fit his system... last year when you had Harrington ISOing and the Duhon/Lee pick&roll, it was boring as hell...

Green is pissing me off this year. This guy has never been a good 3-pt shooter, he has no business putting up these shots. The guy is way more talented than he is playing right now...

Considering that I figured the Jazz would start something like 10-10 due to all the changes and adjustments they were going to have to go through, I'm pretty dang happy with the 21-9 start. 30 games in, I would have said that 17-13 would have been about right, so they're definitely ahead of schedule.

The nice thing is that they still have a lot of areas they can improve on, like getting off to a better start, spreading the floor better (Okur will help here quite a bit), and executing that pick and roll smoothly. I think Jefferson is improving with his rebounding, but our team rebounding needs to improve a lot. We nearly lost to the Pups last night due to poor work on the boards, though a lot of that can be attributed to Millsap's foul issues.

The Jazz outrebounded the Timberwolves last night. My main worry right now is AK's athletic ability. He can't seem to get off the ground this season and that makes him close to useless offensively.

They got more rebounds, but look at Love's offensive rebounding. That was ridiculous.

Come on, ESPN is just trolling now.

They must be trying to shake the hive before the Christmas game. No other explanation for that garbage unless they fell behind on their monthly LeBallwash quota or something.

Just more hype. I thought it was more funny than anything.

And who knew that only Odom and Dirk would be relevant years later from the Slam Cover.

Wolves could very easiliy be a .500 team right now. We've given up 7 double digit leads and there's been another ~5 games where we didn't win, never had a double digit lead, but have been the game the whole way.

Fire Rambis. This team is much better than its record, and the lack of discipline and shoddy decision making, for this team, at least, is pretty clealry a result of shoddy work on the coaching staff's part at properly harnessing the players' abilities.

We have six wins in thirty games. about 1/3rd of those losses we had no excuse losing, and when you add in other games we fell short in, probably half of the wolves' 24 losses should be in the win column.

What an awful coach rambis has turned out to be. I expected much better of him.
